"One Mississippi, two Mississippi's..." No, this was not some crazy bridesmaid you could see in a top brand shop, but me, the crazy sister of the bride. Crazy you ask? Psychologists argue if schizophrenia is caused by environmental factors or genes...

...I can assure them it's from the environment. Unfortunately, I am damned to share my genes with her as well.

My sister, my perfect big sister chose the perfect day and time to ruin my life. Why, you ask again? Well, it's simple- She is getting married. The best of all? She is marrying my first love.

Oh, Kai, my first and only love. I have known him since sixth grade, where he was in eight and I just knew that one day, we would walk down the aisle. My dream came true, we will walk the isle, just not together or at the same time.

Ever since I told my sister that I liked him, 5 years ago, I've seen them hanging out together, acting all lovey dovey, things like that which always left me crying alone in my room every night like a psycho stalker, which I wasn't. I wasn't a psycho.

"Mirae, come and help me!" That didn't wait for a week before announcing the engagement and throwing a party at Kai's birthplace, which was, wait for it, Hawaii! What are the odds?! A perfect man from the perfect place-it just made me want to cry again, oh joy!

Dragging my feet to her, I sighed as I buttoned her dress, ignoring her pleasant sigh. She looked good and she knew it, why did she have to show it that much?

"I can't believe that I got engaged. Soon, I will be Mrs Kim. Isn't that a dream come true?"

"Well, for me it's not." I wasn't even surprised that she didn't hear me as my grumpy mutter barely escaped my lips. My nerves were at their limit and I desperately needed to get out. "We are going to Hawaii tomorrow, are you sure you can't fly with us in the morning?"

And spend a ten hour flight with you giggling with him while my mother is taking pictures?

Hell no!

"I have an issue I need to take care of." I cleared my throat as I walked over to grab my bag. "I will come with the next flight and will be there soon after you guys arrive."

"Dress up nicely!" Chuckling at her stupid request, I nodded. "Of course." How could I not? I would better dress perfectly when I face defeat. While I let it sink into my heart, I would at least look good, despite my aching soul.

My little plan worked. One the next day, I slept two hours more and woke up feeling refreshed and positive.

That is, until I realized that I was myself and that my first love is marrying my sister.

Oh this day was getting better and better.

I eventually had to leave for the airport, where in the mean time I could either think of how I would endure everything or try to sabotage the wedding.

Let's face it, both are never happening. I just knew that I would die there, I would just vanish.

That alien of a sister wouldn't exactly notice either way.

Finally checked in, I endured my two hour stay waiting for my flight. Hoping that my dress for the engagement party wasn't as ruined as my ego, since I packed it in a hurry, I tried to distract myself as I stared at the people who were passing by. Upon seeing a toddler crawling around, I immediately hoped that I wouldn't have the unpleasant luck to sit next to it, since it sure didn't hide it's talent in screaming.

I could only replace my thoughts with the hope that the flight would be delayed, or better-cancelled giving me the perfect chance to miss the party. What was worse was that my sister decided to rush the wedding and do it two weeks after the engagement. She just told me that I had to stay until the wedding, but without actually stating it word by word.

I guess when she is with me, she really likes to see some suffering, with the victim being me.

Seriously, what have I done to her? She ruined my love life to start with and I don't think it was my fault.

My sudden wave of emotions was rudely interrupted as the flight attendant called for the passengers to line up and enter the plane. Biting my lip, I took my luggage in my hand and immediately sat down again, feeling helpless as my bag didn't lift an inch from the ground.

"Yaa... I was carrying you just fine ten minutes ago...!" I glared at my bag as I stood up, trying to push it forward and when I saw as the people formed a long line, I immediately understood that I would be waiting for a long time outside.

Great.

"Do you need help?" I looked up to see a man in front of me. Glancing at the empty space between us and the line, I nod insecurely, trying to see if there were any other possible people to whom he could talk to instead of me. I smiled. Lucky me.

"I am sorry, I don't know what happened, I carried it just fine ten minutes ago." I sighed as I watched him handle the bag with ease. He glanced at me and chuckled softly as he moved to the line. "I guess you have the maximum weight available. The gum there didn't help as well." He pointed to the spot where my bag was staying, showing me a deformed pink circle.

I gritted my teeth as I remembered instantly the annoying teenager that was sitting next to me. I swear that pink gum was in 5 minutes ago! Sighing, I couldn't help but chuckle at my luck.

As soon as I started feeling sorry for myself, I saw a hand reaching out to me. Looking up, I met his gaze again.

"The name is Kim Jong Dae, Chen for short." Blinking in confusion, I instantly grabbed his hand, shaking it awkwardly.

"Mirae ... Kang Mirae." I stared at him as he smiled. "Kang Mirae..." I mentally slapped myself as I unconsciously repeated my name causing him to nod, giving out a grin afterwards.

"Kang Mirae." Repeating out loud, he nodded slowly with his smile staying firmly on his face.

I didn't know when, nor how, but as soon as I turned to the line, I saw that it was almost my turn to get in and have my luggage measured. Helping me, Chen passed the bag to the flight attendant. Thanking him, I couldn't help but wonder if there was something in his stare.

Later on, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched as I walked in the plane, finding my seat on the second row. I didn't see Chen after that and I assumed that he either flew first class or he was somewhere behind me.

Call it strange, psycho, or just delusional, but I was certain that someone was burning holes in my seat from staring.

I guess I was just unpleasantly stressed.

It's not every day that you get your heart stabbed by a thousand knifes.

Oppa, why did you have to marry my sister?! What did you see in this snake?!
