Kwon Yuri's POV

Rain.

I always like rain before. It always hides my pain. My tears. The loneliness.

But rain also reminds me of one person.

That beautiful stranger that I couldn't forget.

I stops on my track as I settle my gaze into the scene in front of me. Park Gyuri, my girlfriend is busy kissing someone just in front of their school. I unconciously drop the other umbrella that I'm holding and without having a second thought. I ran away, away from the cause of my heartbreak.

I sat on the bench placed in the bus waiting area. Obviously soaked because of the rain, I couldn't stop myself from replaying the scene that I saw earlier. Without me knowing tears escape my eyes.

"I guess it’s really going to be over
I keep running out of breath
Though I’m not confident to let you go
A breakup where one takes a step back
That’s probably the grown-up thing to do"

"Aish! Annoying rain! Why do you need to pour right now!!" A voice makes me look up, standing just a meter away from me is a woman who's stomping her feet on the ground.

"Hey." I called out. She either didn't hear me or she purposely ignore me. "Stupid! Stupid! Why did I forget my umbrella out of all things!!" She ranted once again, I couldn't help but giggle. Totally forgetting what happened earlier.

I stand up and tap her shoulder lightly, capturing her attention.

At that moment I swear I really look stupid because my mouth is seriously hanging wide. I don't know what word to use to describe her beauty, from her eyes -- to her lips. I swear this is the first time I saw someone so perfect.

"Yes?" Her voice finally snaps me out my trance making me instantly close my wide open mouth.

"Ah -- Yes. I mean, here." I said stupidly, handling the pink umbrella on my hand.

'I was supposed to give it to her -- we're supposed to be walking in the rain together with a couple umbrella. Why does she need to cheat on me?'

"Oh. It's alright. I can just wait until the rain stops. You can just use it." The beautiful stranger in front of me said. I finally notice a tint of coldness in her voice but it's not like it bothers me.

I look up to the dark sky and let out a bitter chuckle. "It's not going to stop because it's still pitying me." Another bitter chuckle.

"Pardon?"

"Uh -- Nothing. What I mean is you can have it, I'm already wet anyways so it's no use." I grab her wrist and give the pink umbrella that I'm holding before running away in the middle of pouring rain.

"KWON YUL!!!!"

"AHHH! Why do you need shout!!" I shouted back to the person who dare to interrupt my day dreaming.

"Sooyoungie is asking if you want to come and grab some coffee with us."

"Maybe next time Sunny, I have plan today." I answered to my roommate. I watch as she leave my room.

It's been almost 6 months when I broke up with my now ex-girlfriend Gyuri. Maybe because I've been very busy with school and part time job lately that's why it isn't hard for me to move on or maybe because a certain stranger just keeps on entering my mind without permission.

Today I just want to reminisce the moment when I saw Gyuri cheating on me so I decided to go to her school. It was supposed to be my school too, but I'm financially unstable. Unlike me, Gyuri's family is something I couldn't reach. That's why when we started dating I couldn't help but wonder why she chose me, someone in average. Someone who can't afford such school, someone who need to work her off to be able to study. Then when she cheated on me, I realized that there's no way for us to stay together.

"Yuri?" I litetally froze on my spot when the familiar voice filled my ears. It's her without a doubt.

"Oh. Hi Gyuri" I turn around and greet her back. Not wanting to be rude.

"It's been awhile. What are you doing on my school? Do you want to get back together?" She said straightforwardly. My tongue flipped back to the deepest part of my throat making me not able to utter any word.

How can she say that so casually to me when she cheated in front of my very own eyes.

Before I can utter any word, someone already beat me to it. "Seobaaaang~" Someone said sweetly, making me shift my gaze.

"Oh, aren't you Jessica Jung?" I heard Gyuri said in a mocking tone but I decided to ignore her as my eyes are still settle into the auburn haired walking towards me.

The woman called Jessica Jung ignores Gyuri's remark and continue to walk towards me. "I told you to wait for me at the bus stop right~~?" She said once again, locking her gaze into mine. I can feel my heart thumping wildly into my chest.

"Eh? So after dumping that Taecyeon guy, you go to my ex now huh?" Jessica clings her arm into mine and I swear my whole system tense up due to the sudden skinship.

"Oh really now? Says the one who's kissing in front of the school while her girlfriend is watching." She said in a same tone. I saw how Gyuri's eyes widened so does mine, I couldn't help but glance at the woman clinging next to me.

"Well, since we have a date. We'll be going ahead." I take a last glance at Gyuri, before walking away, with Jessica still clinging to me.

"Just who are you really, Jessica Jung."
