Everyone on the table went all speechless the moment they heard Sooyoung ordered in English. Jessica couldn’t believe her eyes.

I’m dead.

“Why are you stopping? Do continue..” Sooyoung said in English when everyone went silent.

“So a-as I was s-saying..” Jessica resumed the discussion. Sooyoung was smiling to herself as she waited for her drink.

“Oh thanks.” Sooyoung said in English when the waiter handed her the water.

Jessica kept on glancing at Sooyoung. She couldn’t really focus on her meeting anymore. Sooyoung on the other hand was still eating.

“Hmm.. So that’s it?” Jessica asked one of the guys. They were discussing something related to business.

“Yep.”

“Already? B-But I’m still eating!” Sooyoung said. She kept on talking in English.

Jessica then looked at her. “I’ll wait for you.” She mumbled seriously in Korean.

“You will??” Sooyoung asked back excitedly in English. They guys were staring at them. They were actually trying to hold their laughter.

“This girl is really something..” One of them whispered.

“You will Jessicaaa??” Sooyoung said with an aegyo.

“Okay stop it.” Jessica muttered.

“Fine.” Sooyoung continued eating her food while Jessica guided the guys out of the restaurant. Jessica then waved them and turned her head to look at Sooyoung from the entrance of the restaurant.

“Oh god..” She sighed. But then something came to her mind. “How can I be so stupid??!!” She hit her forehead with her palm. “She reads Emily Dickinson and Shakespeare!!!” Jessica remembered the books that Sooyoung wanted.

She walked back into the restaurant with her heavy feet. She was somehow nervous. She went back to her seat and pretended to look at a few documents in front of her.

“So…” Sooyoung was still speaking in English. She was munching on her food at that time. Jessica was somehow ignoring her. “Finish your food quickly.” Jessica replied seriously in English while her eyes were still in front of the papers.

Sooyoung was smiling to herself as she kept on eating. “So..” She stopped eating as she looked back at Jessica smilingly.

“What?” Jessica finally looked at her.

“You love having me around huh?”
