“Hmm I want this..” Sooyoung mumbled sadly as she pulled a thick book from the shelf.
“Do you want the book?” Seohyun asked.
“I guess I have to wait next month..” Sooyoung said again. “Can you please keep the book for me?” Sooyoung said softly to Seohyun.
“I can buy it for you if you want..” Seohyun smiled.
“NO! NO!” Sooyoung protested. Seohyun just let out a soft giggled.
“I don’t mind Sooyoungie..” Seohyun said. “You can pay me back anytime you want..”
“No Seo..” Sooyoung didn’t want to burden her friend. “I’ll buy it next month..” Sooyoung held Seohyun’s arm.
But then she felt the book that she was holding got snatched away from her hand. “Huh??”
She turned and saw Jessica was holding the book as she made her way to the cashier counter. “What the..” Sooyoung quickly ran towards the older girl.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Sooyoung asked confusedly.
“I want to buy the book.” Jessica said seriously.
“I don’t need your money!!”
“Who says I’m buying this for you?” Jessica asked back.
“Huh?”
They were already in front of the cashier counter. “W-wait..” Sooyoung tried to stop Jessica from paying. “It’s the only copy!!” Sooyoung begged.
Jessica just paid for it anyway.
The Shakespeare’s Curse? Heh. Who read this ??. Jessica then looked at the book. “Please don’t do this to me..” Sooyoung was still begging.
Jessica ignored the girl and went straight towards the door holding the book. Sooyoung followed her outside the bookstore.
“Please.. I’ll buy the book from you next month..” Sooyoung was down on her knees in front of Jessica.
How cute.
Jessica was trying to hold her laughter. “Get back in the car.” She said seriously. Sooyoung didn’t really have any choice.
“Look, I’ll pay for the pants and also for the book next month.” Sooyoung turned to look at Jessica. “But please keep the book in a safe place..”
