Sungyeol and Moonsoo arrived at the mansion and had their own separate ways as they go in, Sungyeol immediately went to the kitchen to start cooking their dinner and Moonsoo went straight to the living room to finish his homework so that he can play games later, but before the kid put his bag down on the floor, Sungyeol stopped him

“Yah brat, go clean yourself before doing your homework!” He shouted from the kitchen but Moonsoo ignored him by taking out his notebooks and some pencils, a seconds passed and Sungyeol appeared beside Moonsoo, making the kid jump from the couch “Yah! The twins are not here to clean you, so handle yourself for once!”

Moonsoo glared at the man who is now standing tall in front of him “Make me” He challenged

Sungyeol raised a brow and leans down to level their faces with so much confidence “Challenge accepted” He suddenly put his hands on the kid’s waist and lifts him up to place the small body on his shoulder

“Yah! Put me down! I’ll be reporting this to my dad!” Moonsoo try to struggle but obviously he failed cos his babysitter is much stronger than him

“You should’ve think first before challenging the great Yeolster, kid” Sungyeol laughed evilly and it echoed to the corridor

They arrived at Moonsoo’s room and Sungyeol playfully throws the kid on the bed, he then went in to the walk-in closet to get some new clothes and place it on the bed, he sighed and looks at Moonsoo, who is now lying on the bed with crossed arms

“Awww…what’s the matter baby boo?” Sungyeol teased as he stop in front of the little body

“Don’t. Call me that!” Moonsoo glared at him again but this time with a pout, making Sungyeol chuckled then laughed loudly again

“Oh my god! That’s a good laugh!” Sungyeol fanned himself and wipe the small tears in his eyes “Y’know, it’s really good seeing you pissed, it’s like I’m seeing the cold and intimidating Myungsoo doing that pout! Gosh I need to breathe!”

Moonsoo can only give a weird look at the man whose face became red from laughing

“Okay…I’m good! I’m good” Sungyeol looks down and smile “Now, let’s clean you up so that I can start making that frickin’ dinner already” He offered his hand to the kid to help him sit up but Moonsoo just ignored it and get himself out of the bed then walk towards the bathroom, followed by Sungyeol

Sungyeol came back to the kitchen after cleaning Moonsoo, and busied himself from reading the directions of ‘How to cook Chicken Salpicao’ in the internet while marinating the chicken in paprika, salt and pepper. Moonsoo decided to watch Sungyeol cook after he finished his homework, he is sitting at one of the stools, elbows planted on the kitchen island table and head leans in both hands

“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to play some video games in the living room?” Sungyeol said as he puts the marinated chicken on the heated pan then looks at Moonsoo “Hm?”

“Isn’t it obvious? I’m watching and waiting for you to burn the kitchen, or…put some poison on the food, just being cautious” Moonsoo boringly replied, making Sungyeol sarcastically laughed as he cooks the chicken. They stayed silent for a minute, Moonsoo continue to watch the tall man, and Sungyeol focused himself from cooking

“Sungyeol-ah…what made you work here?” Moonsoo asked, eyes stared at the man’s back

Sungyeol snickered at the question and shook his head “Because…I need money to survive, and your dad is the perfect catch”

“Oh…so you want easy money, you’re like the other girls that dad keeps bringing home”

Sungyeol lowers the flame from the stove and looks back at the kid with a disgusted face “Are you saying that I’m a in e?!”

Moonsoo’s eyes widen from Sungyeol’s colorful word, but just shrugged his shoulder as a reply to the now raging man, he never thought of hearing those kind of words inside the mansion

“Look kid, I’m just broke right now and let me tell you this” Sungyeol points a finger at Moonsoo “I am not some fancy leechers who just wanted money from your dad, I work here for myself and those es are not” He stops as he ponder for a moment, then his eyes grew big and he gasp loudly “Oh my god! Don’t tell to your dad that I said something inappropriate for kids”

Moonsoo tilts his head, he is now confused, one time the man is in rage and now, he’s panicking. What a bipolar person. “I’m hungry Sungyeol” He announced, changing the boring topic

“Seriously, do I have to feed you like what Soryong do?” Sungyeol whined beside Moonsoo at the dinner table “But I’m hungry too!”

“You can always leave me and let me dirtied myself” Moonsoo said as he reaches for the spoon

“No!” Sungyeol stopped him and reach for the spoon himself “I’ll feed you, I don’t want to give you a bath again” He pouted and scoop a rice from Moonsoo’s plate. Moonsoo smirked and open his mouth to take the rice and the piece of chicken

They stayed like that until they heard the front door open and close, then footsteps coming towards the dining room and they waited for that person to show up. Myungsoo appears in front of the door, stared at them for a while before he nod to himself and turn his back to walk to the stairs, he halted as he heard Sungyeol call for his name, he turn his heels and face him

“I’ll just clean myself, prepare my dinner” He said as he loosen his tie and open three of his polo’s buttons

But Sungyeol just scoffed at him as he stands up from his seat “Excuse me? As far as I know, I’m a babysitter not a daddysitter”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes in return then looks at Sungyeol “You are working for me now, therefore I’m your master”

“Oh c’mon, be a good, responsible, independent man and serve your own food, I’m not finish feeding the kid yet and I’m hella hungry right now!” Sungyeol whined and made a little tantrum in front of his boss by thumping his feet, but Myungsoo just shrugged his shoulders and continue to walk away

“That is why I ran away from home, I don’t want to grow up like that man, so inconsiderate, and here I am thought he was nice when we met” Sungyeol said with gritted teeth as he watch the back of the man that made him pissed, then he looks at the kid beside him with a forced grin “And I got a feeling you’ll be like that too someday”

Myungsoo and Sungyeol ate together at the dining room with Moonsoo waiting for them to finish. Knowing Moonsoo, soon he’ll get bored from waiting. So the kid thought of something to kill his boredom. He take a look at his dad and the man is eating quietly—‘Boring’ He thought and sighed, then he looked to his side to see Sungyeol eating while talking to his dad, he heard the smiling talkative man telling something that happened today and a little of his troubles from cooking the dish a while ago. He stared at the two and for a moment there, he remembered his dad and mom used to be like that—they used to be happily talking while eating dinner. His eyes couldn’t leave the two and it made him start a trance, he watched Sungyeol laughed and his dad snickered at the other, then Sungyeol’s image faded and turned into his mom, laughing carelessly while covering with her hand

“Mommy…” Moonsoo said as he stared at Sungyeol. The two stops from talking and looks at the child

“What?” Sungyeol confusedly asked and leaned a little bit forward “What did you say?”

“Moonsoo” Myungsoo called his name and he woke up from his trance only to realize that the two men were looking worriedly at him

“I’m…I’m sleepy Sungyeol, take me to my room now!” He ordered

Sungyeol’s eyes twitched, a little annoyed to the child right now “Yah, you don’t have the right to order me around when I know what I’m supposed to do”

“Sungyeol just take him to his room and prepare him to bed” Myungsoo ordered making Sungyeol looked at him in disbelief, but then turned into a smile or a grin

“Okay…if you say so”

Myungsoo felt something weird and watches Sungyeol stands up and takes Moonsoo’s hand almost immediately

“While I’m cleaning the kid, wash the dishes will ya boss?” He stick his tongue out childishly and carries Moonsoo and run away from the dining room, leaving the dumbfounded Myungsoo behind.
