.Chapter o14.

Myungsoo contemplated first before he steps out of his car, he raise his head up and looks at the white building in front of him, then read the printed sign in bronze writings—‘The Library’. He never thought that he’ll be back in that place, and to be reminded the times he went to the library when he was still in college. He gave out a faint chuckle as he starts to reminisce—the time when him, and his older friend Sunggyu first steps in the library, they were too awed seeing how classic and huge the inside was, then the time when he met his first girlfriend that soon became his wife and the mother of his child…and a little sooner, became his former wife

“This better be worth my time” He sighs and open the door to enter.

“This is not worth my time” Sungyeol quietly whined between the kid and the butler, they’ve been in the library for minutes now and the quietness is killing him slowly. Moonsoo was reading a book and so does the butler, leaving Sungyeol bored and dying

“Then try reading a book” Moonsoo held out a book to the young man but didn’t left his eyes from the one he was reading

Sungyeol looks at the title of the book and wince “Are you really going to kill me through boredom? This book is English literature!” His high voice got the attention of some people that surrounds them, earning himself a few hush. He bow his head while saying sorry to every corner then scowls at the two person beside him “I thought that we’ll do something fun in here” He pouted

“Actually Sungyeol this is fun…for us that is” Soryong said as he flips a page from the book he was reading

Sungyeol looks at the butler, then to the brat “You two are doing this on purpose” He pouts again then stand up from his chair “I’m going to look for something fun to do, and you two are not invited” Then he walks away

As soon as the babysitter is gone, Moonsoo puts down the book he was holding just under his eyes “You think he’ll get lost?”

Soryong looks down at his young master and snorts “Young master, you don’t need to ask the obvious” He close the book and stands up “I saw a café across the library, do you want to have a snack young master?”

Moonsoo smirked and nod.

Myungsoo takes out his phone from his pocket and send a message to his son for his arrival. He doesn’t know why he’s doing this, but he still waited for a reply while walking in one of the aisles, and unfortunately he spotted a familiar tall back, climbing at one of the library’s ladder ‘Sungyeol?’ He thought and walk towards the tall young man

“Yah, what are you doing?” Myungsoo held the ladder and shakes it a little to get the latter’s attention, and immediately gotten himself a shock look and a string of harsh-whispered curse

“I almost jumped you jerk!” Sungyeol said as he climbs down the ladder and hit Myungsoo’s arm “What you gonna when I fell huh?”

Myungsoo raise a brow and answers matter-of-factly “Catch you…No wait, I think I’ll just get you to the hospital” He flashed a sarcastic smile, making the latter’s eye twitched

Sungyeol then squints his eyes, annoyed to the man in front of him “Touché”

They stared at each other for a moment, Sungyeol trying hard to burn a hole on Myungsoo’s forehead and the said guy was oblivious from it “So…where is my son?” Myungsoo breaks the tensed silence, for the tall man that is, after they had their staring contest

“Oh yeah” Sungyeol’s face changed from so-ing-done to its-adventure-time “They were sitting at…” He looks back and stared at the way, then he looks to his right side, and then to his left before going back to his front with a sheepish smile “Would you believe if I said I forgot?”

Myungsoo blinks a few times, counting from one to ten in his mind and having a dilemma with himself, whether to really strangle the latter or not, they are the only people in that aisle so no one would know that he committed a crime, unless there’s a CCTV camera or this loud mouth troublemaker will shout for help

“Earth to Myungsoo” The tall man waved his hand in front of his face to pull him down to reality and he slaps it away

“How could I forget, you’re Lee Sungyeol…this kind of thing was inevitable to happen” Myungsoo puts his fingers just above his nose like he’s starting to have a mild migraine. He sighed and collected himself before turning back and started walking away “Keep close, I don’t want you getting lost nor getting you on the lost and found”

“Hey I’m not that stupid! It just so happen that this place is new to me, and the aisles were frickingly the same” Sungyeol crossed his arms in front of his chest and pout as he walk behind Myungsoo.

They have spent almost thirty minutes looking for Moonsoo in the library, and Myungsoo can’t even contact his son, for the little boy is not answering his calls and his butler is also doing the same, the worse part is, he feels like he became an instant babysitter for the tall whiny brat that keeps blabbering things he doesn’t understand for the whole minutes they’ve spend. Now he knows what Sungjong means about this troublemaker will turn his world upside-down, and honestly, he doesn’t want it anymore, he’d rather want his boring life back

“Myungsoo, I’m hungry, I haven’t had my afternoon snack yet” Sungyeol gets a hold of his arm and shakes it while he whisper a childish whine

Myungsoo stops from their tracks and turn his back to face the tall young man, he stared at its pouting face for a while before raising his hand and cupping the soft cheek. Sungyeol stops from whining and was now stunned from the man’s action, he watches how Myungsoo gently brush his fingers to his skin with a faint smile, but the gentleness didn’t last long as he felt the fingers were now pinching his cheek

“Can’t you stop your endless whining?” Myungsoo pinches hard, making Sungyeol yelp and try to pry his hand away from his cheek

“That actually hurt you douche!” Sungyeol was now having his revenge as he successfully reaches for the man’s side and pinching its side stomach, earning a gasp from Myungsoo “How dare you hurt the Yeolster”

The tickling battle between them has started, and if someone sees them like that, that person would thought that they’re the kind of college students who thinks that it will be fun to spend their time flirting in the library, and be all lovey-dovey in one of the aisles before studying or going back from their homework

“Okay, okay, stop” Myungsoo heaves a sigh of relief and chuckles a little “Never thought I’ll be doing something like that again for a long time”

“Well, you need to loosen up a little you stuck-up jerk” Sungyeol’s face starts to get back to its natural color as he laughed lightly and wipe the tears of joy from the corner of his eyes due from the suppressed laughing

The man turn his head to look at the tall latter “Come, I don’t think the two are here anyway, let’s have a snack at the café beside the library before we go home”

Sungyeol nods happily with his gummy smile “Yes! Finally, free snacks!” He whisper excitedly and pump his hand in the air before walking beside Myungsoo towards the library’s exit.

Moonsoo puts down the book he was reading and looks at his butler in front of him “Soryong, don’t you and Daeryong have night class today?”

Soryong smiled to his young master as he stops the serving cart “Well, the thought of executing the plan for Mr. Kim and Sungyeol will have you alone with no one to take care of you, so I’m here at your service” The little boy gave him a smile and continue to read the book as he pour some tea at the two teacups and places the cookies in the table, then he takes the seat to one of the empty chair and reaches for his own book to read

“You think my plan will work?” Moonsoo ask while eyes still focus on the story

“To be honest young master, there’s a possibility…but, why Sungyeol?”

“Because Sungyeol is weird, he makes me feel weird…” Moonsoo paused then smiled to himself “He is weird in a good way though, and I want daddy to feel what I’m feeling right now towards Sungyeol, because it’s something new yet it’s great”

Soryong nodded to his young master’s answer and let the comfortable silence from the mansion’s garden envelopes them.

[A/N] Finally! So here's the second update that was supposed to be posted last Thursday >.< but due to the results of my exams, I received a not so high grade from one of my class, and that affected my place in the student council T~T my parents were kind of disappointed so they didn't let me get online and took my laptop for the mean time for me study first with my tutor. I'm sorry for that everyone T^T though thank you for commenting and subscribing, hope you guys didn't carry any disappointment towards me cos I'm really sorry about it. I'll update another chapter later if I can, if not, expect one tomorrow, I promise~ >.<
