.Chapter o12.

Myungsoo and Doyeon stayed quiet in the living room after Sungyeol had left, but Myungsoo breaks the silence by sighing exhaustedly while sitting back on his chair and massages his forehead. Doyeon also sits back and looks at his fiancé

“Don’t worry, he’ll learn to like me after the marriage” Doyeon stated and fixes the papers that are spread on the table

Myungsoo looks at the wall and close his eyes “I’ll lead you to your car, thanks for visiting” And Doyeon just hummed in reply.

Sungyeol reaches for Moonsoo’s wrist and pulled it gently to stop the kid from running away. Moonsoo obeyed and stopped but didn’t look back, he remained facing his shaking back to Sungyeol as he cries hard. Sungyeol gets on his knees and slowly turn the kid’s shoulder to face him, he gets a hold of the little shoulders firmly to make Moonsoo stay on his place

“It’s her fault…” Moonsoo said as he try to stop from crying “She keeps on insisting that she will replace mommy”

Sungyeol wipes the tears from the kid’s face “Yah, you still shouldn’t have done that brat”

“But—but…” Moonsoo’s tears starts to fall again, making Sungyeol panicked a little

“Shhh…don’t cry” Sungyeol wipes the tears again and when he noticed that the kid won’t stop, he carries the little body in his arms and went in to the nearest room to continue comforting the kid.

Moonsoo’s arms started to wrap around Sungyeol’s neck and placed his face on the crook of the neck.

After Doyeon’s car is out of his sight, Myungsoo immediately made his way back to the mansion and search for his son or the babysitter, he was supposed to go upstairs to his son’s bedroom but he was called by Daeryong who just came out from the living room

“Mr.Kim”

Myungsoo stops on the middle of the stairs and looks down at his butler

“Young master Moonsoo and Sungyeol are on the art room” Daeryong smiles and Myungsoo nods before going down and jogged towards the art room

Myungsoo slowly opens the door of the art room, and it creates a little creaking sound, he enters and looks at the figure standing in front of the huge window and took a step forward, Sungyeol looks back at him with Moonsoo in his arms, sleeping soundly

“He cried so hard but I managed to make it stop” Sungyeol smiled down gently at Moonsoo “And now, he’s asleep and doesn’t want to let go” He unknowingly pouted

Myungsoo stares at Sungyeol’s gentle smiling face and slowly walk towards the young man, he can’t explain what he just saw or that flashes in front of him—it’s like he got turned back to time where he and his former wife smiling down at their son in this room. No wonder everything looks like a Deja vu

“Myungsoo” Sungyeol calls for his name gently to not wake the kid, and he stops just in front of the young man “After this brat wakes up, talk to him in a more calm and understanding way” Sungyeol looks straight into his eyes and he noticed how big and brown Sungyeol doe eyes was

“I—” Myungsoo looks away from Sungyeol’s stares “I seriously don’t know what I’m supposed to do now” He hide both of his hands in his pockets and stares at his son “I just wanted him to be happy”

Sungyeol nod to himself and smiles at Myungsoo “Obviously you’re trying but…” He chuckled “You really at fixing things with your son”

Myungsoo bit the inside of his cheeks before smirking “Fine, you’re right, now tell me what am I supposed to do”

Sungyeol grins and fixes Moonsoo in a more comfortable position in his arms “Oh my, the great Kim Myungsoo admits that I, Lee Sungyeol is right, I should’ve record the moment” Myungsoo snickered at that. “Alright, I’ll tell you what to do first” Sungyeol leans forward, making his face near Myungsoo “First, you should learn to control your temper, like seriously man, it’s like you’re a walking time bomb” Myungsoo rolled his eyes from Sungyeol’s childish words and nod in understanding

“Second, listen to your son, especially to a brat like him, this little puppy needs more love and attention” Sungyeol pouts as he teased the sleeping Moonsoo, and Myungsoo laughed, agreeing to the babysitter

“Third, lemme borrow your car for once, I mean, being the babysitter of this brat is not easy as it looks like, this kid has been trailing behind me for like the whole week now and it’s kinda creeping me out, he keeps on following me everywhere I go, sometimes I think that this brat is hired by my parents to stalk me” Sungyeol acts paranoid and Myungsoo burst out laughing, he couldn’t hold it any longer, Sungyeol’s wierdness was too funny for him

Moonsoo stirred awake and saw his daddy laughing in front of him along with Sungyeol who carries him, he doesn’t know what is happening but he likes the atmosphere. Myungsoo saw his son is already awake so he stops from laughing and cleared his throat

“Moonsoo…” Myungsoo smiled gently to his son “Let’s have a talk and clear things out okay?”

Moonsoo looks up to Sungyeol and the babysitter just motioned him to go with his daddy. Moonsoo reaches for his daddy and Myungsoo carried him in his arms

“Finally” Sungyeol said as he stretches his arms and back “My upper body is starting to get numbed” Then he looks at the two and bow “I’ll be going now, you two talk in a calming manner” He points at the two “I mean it, it’s not easy to talk to the both of you guys” He bows again and walks out of the room, leaving the two who watches his back until it’s gone.

The room has now become quiet and awkward for the both of them, Moonsoo was sitting on his daddy’s lap, waiting for the man to first speak up, and Myungsoo sighed heavily before his start speaking what he had in mind that he wanted to tell his son

“Moonsoo…” He called and his son looks up to him with eyes full of expectation from his words “Tell me what the problem is”

Moonsoo then looks down and play with his fingers before he reply “I-I don’t want to have a new mommy, Doyeon is pretty but she looks fake, like the ladies I saw from some of the business parties you attended with me…I don’t like her for you daddy” He looks up with puppy dog eyes and Myungsoo tried his best not to fall for that

“But son, daddy can’t stay single again forever” Myungsoo joked making the atmosphere a little lighter

“Yes you can! I’m here!” Moonsoo raised his arm, earning a soft chuckle from his daddy

“Someday you’ll find someone like your mommy and you will have to leave me you know”

“If that happens then Daeryong and Soryong are always here with you!” Moonsoo held tight to his daddy’s clothes “Or-or Sungyeol-ah!”

Myungsoo snickeredas he heard the name of the crazy babysitter “Why is Sungyeol always in our conversation?”

“Because Sungyeol is not stupid as you think! Sungyeol can paint like mommy, Sungyeol got a lot of humor and Sungyeol has an exciting life outside the mansion!” Moonsoo exhaled “If you get to know him daddy, you’ll follow him everywhere!”.

Downstairs to the kitchen, two sneezes were heard. Sungyeol cleaned his nose with his hand before he continue on helping to prepare the dinner. Daeryong offered him a handkerchief and he gladly takes it as he felt he’s going to sneeze again

“Are you alright Sungyeol?” Daeryong ask, standing beside him

“I’m fine” Sungyeol wave his hand “Probably my stupid friends were talking about me” He laughed, and the twins looked at each other before chuckling at the babysitter’s humor

“They must have missed you a lot” Said Soryong, riding the joke of the younger

“Maybe you’re right, they are nothing without me anyway” Sungyeol grinned as he place the plates and the utensils in the dining table “Everything is ready here!” He shouted excitedly.

Myungsoo raise a brow to his son, as he listens from what the little kid is saying about his babysitter’s life outside their mansion. And as the words coming out from his son’s mouth, he realize that Sungyeol’s complain about Moonsoo following him everywhere is proven and true

“It seems like you’re now close to Sungyeol” Myungsoo said and smile down to his son

Moonsoo looks up and nod “Well if you want adventure in your life then be close to Sungyeol” Then an idea pops in his clever mind “Daddy, I can find the person that suits you from one of my and Sungyeol’s adventure, I can bring that person for you, just you wait!”

Myungsoo was now smirking to his son “Oh really now? Fine then, I’ll wait, but you only have three months to search for that person, after three months and you didn’t find that person, then we’ll have to go with the Doyeon, deal?”

Moonsoo was now fired up to his mission “Don’t worry daddy, I won’t let any evil witch marry you!”

‘Sungyeol, what have you been doing with my son?’ Myungsoo thought and sighed.
