Sungyeol yawns as he enter the dining room and sits at his usual place—the seat next to Moonsoo. He smiled groggily to the air then greets the two person who were watching him with intent eyes, it’s really a drowsy morning for him. Myungsoo who was supposed to drink from his mug of coffee, shook his head and place the mug down on the table

“What did you do last night that made you look wrecked than before?” Moonsoo ask before his father open his mouth and took a bite on his bread

The tall man takes the white pot with gold linings in front of him and serves himself a hot choco “I was doing a school project that is due later” He yawned

Myungsoo and his son both snickered at the tall man’s answer, making Sungyeol squint his eyes at them and puts down the piece of bread onto his plate “What was that?” He ask while leaning forward and trying to intimidate the father and his son through his glares

“What?” Myungsoo ask innocently after he composed himself from his silent mocking laugh, making the other one shiver in disgust

“You don’t believe that I’m doing a school project huh?” He points a finger at them and the two just stayed quiet and continue to eat their breakfast, giving Sungyeol the benefit of the doubt.

“I’ll show them what I can do” Sungyeol fixes his polo shirt in front of the mirror then take his bag from the bed. He walks down the stairs and straight to the manor’s entrance but before he could touch the doorknob, the wooden door opens and Sungyeol was greeted by a sophisticated woman, both wore a shocked expression while staring at each other’s faces

Sungyeol blinked a few times before breaking the eye contact then stepping aside as he open the door “Ah, good morning!” He bowed, though he doesn’t know why, maybe because of what the woman looks like, she looks neat and elegant, like a woman from a wealthy family. He’s still a gentleman at heart

The woman enters the manor and stand in front of Sungyeol, looking at him with a smile “Hello” Greeted the woman with a glint of excitement in her voice. Sungyeol awkwardly smiled back and scratch the back of his neck

“Hi…I uhm…excuse me but I have to go” He said then bowed for the last time before stepping from the side and walking out, he looks back then smiled to the woman who’s watching him walk towards the car where Moonsoo was waiting.

The ride to Moonsoo’s school was quiet, but Sungyeol wanted to break the silence and ask the brat sitting beside him about the woman he encountered, cos no one seems to be interested on telling him freely

“So…” He started “Who’s that woman?”

“What woman?” Moonsoo asked back, eyes still on his phone, playing the game he just downloaded

“The woman, who just entered the manor” Sungyeol rolled his eyes

“I didn’t see any woman” Said Moonsoo who didn’t even take the time to glance at him

“You gotta be kidding me!” Sungyeol eyes widen “Don’t tell me I’ve seen a ghost!” He covered his mouth with his hand and think

Moonsoo looked at him and watches his babysitter troubled himself from the ghost he encountered, he smirked and shook his head “You are so gullible Lee Sungyeol” He paused the game and put his phone down onto his lap “Are you that idiot to believe in ghost? Cos seriously I’m starting to be amused by the age of your thinking”

“Pfft I was just acting, and you fell for it” Sungyeol crosses his arms in front of his chest and smile proudly to himself

Moonsoo raise a brow and look at the latter’s face “Oh really? It seems natural for you to act like an idiot”

Sungyeol grunted “What’s with you and your strict dad today? You two are having fun making fun of me!”

Moonsoo smiled and take his phone “That woman is my grandmother” He presses the continue button in the game and busies himself “She’ll be staying in the manor for a moment, it’s the time of her yearly visit”

“So Sungyeol needs to behave for now” Soryong added and looks at the rear view mirror to have an eye contact with the tall latter.

Sungyeol’s mouth formed an ‘O’ as he process in his mind what the brat and the butler had said. ‘Grandma. Staying. Behave’ “Oh hell no! That’s Myungsoo’s mother? Geezersoo’s mother?!” He suddenly shouts inside the car, making Soryong flinch and Moonsoo pressing the wrong button that made his in-game character die

“Sungyeol, those kinds of words and actions are also prohibited for now” Soryong parks the car in front of Moonsoo’s school and gets out so that he could open the door for his young master

“Let him do what he wants, the Yeolster is unstoppable right?” Moonsoo teasingly mocked and jumps off the car “Well then, good luck to your project, and don’t stressed your pretty little mind about what you should do in front of grandmother, you might get hurt…see ya~” He closed the car’s door and walks away

Sungyeol tsked and roll his eyes “Brat!”

Myungsoo enters the living room with a smile, he drop his leather bag on the sofa and open up his arms to give his mother a hug. The woman smiled and returns the warm welcome, after the hug, she places her hands in her son’s cheeks and pats it, while checking if there’s something new in her beloved son’s face

“My, my, I can see that your face is starting to return to its old color” Mrs. Kim said with a sigh of relief as it caresses his cheeks “It’s been quite a long time since I see that smile again”

Myungsoo looks down and smiles sheepishly “A lot of things happened this following weeks, and it surprisingly helping me out to move on from the past”

“Oh really? Good to hear that, Soo” Mrs. Kim firmly hold her son’s shoulder before letting it go and sitting down on the sofa. Myungsoo sits down with her.

“So how was your vacation mother?” Myungsoo started the conversation and her mother answers the questions and tells the story of her fascinating vacation in Paris. They continue their chat about random things and events that may happen while on her stay in the manor

“By the way, who’s the young tall man who greeted me when I entered the manor? Is he a new butler? But based from the way he look it looks like he was still studying…” Mrs. Kim starts to monologue, a hobby she always do when she’s curious or deep in thoughts

Myungsoo answered her questions before her mother ask another one, before the talk turns into a question and answer portion “That young tall man is Moonsoo’s new babysitter, mother, and his name is Lee Sungyeol, a university student who works hard to pay for his tuition fees” Myungsoo suddenly wanted to laugh at the nice things that leaves his mouth about the gung-ho Sungyeol

“Oh dear, such a hardworking child, and you my son have such a good heart for giving the young man a job to support himself” Mrs. Kim hold onto his son’s hand “Mother is so proud of you, Soo”

Myungsoo smiled back, but in the back of his head he was now laughing his off ‘Who knew I would gain praise by just talking good about that troublemaker’

“I like his face, it’s so bright and youthful, now if he’s a she, she’s a good match for you dear”

“Yeah...what?” Myungsoo was now lost from their topic “I’m sorry mother but what did you say?”

His mother smiled and dreamily held her hands together “I said that, Sungyeol’s face is like a sunshine, he has this feature, that’s making him looks like a graceful gazelle, or maybe because of his round doe eyes?”

“Mother, what are we talking about?”

“We’re talking about Sungyeol, dear”

“Wha---why?” Myungsoo wanted to know how they end up talking about Sungyeol’s features and gazelles, because seriously, no one in their right mind would say that Sungyeol looks graceful as a gazelle. He needs to bring his mother to the hospital for a check-up. Or maybe she just need a rest from the long flight ‘It must be jetlag’

“Because Soo, my dear, mother wants to meet this Sungyeol cos he reminds me of my pet gazelle when I was a child”

‘Definitely jetlag’

“Hold on, Sungyeol looks like your pet gazelle when you were child?” Now Myungsoo really wants to burst out laughing, even tempted to call the latter to bring the good news

“Yes, maybe he’s the reincarnation of my dear Yaala, the moment our eyes met, I felt the connection” His mother added while thinking seriously and Myungsoo now could die from preventing his laughter

“Don’t worry mother, Sungyeol is now staying here in our manor for the time being, you can spend your time talking about how he looks like your dear Yaala” He needs to warn Sungyeol about his mother’s little obsession about gazelles and such ‘Or not?’

“That’s good news then, I’ll talk to him later when he got home” Mrs. Kim stands up from the couch with excitement and fixes her clothes properly “Now, its lunch time already. I’ll tell you more about my Yoela while eating”

Sungyeol sneezes as he stands in front of the class with a book report in his hand, he could hear his two idiotic friend snickering at the back and never miss hearing the words ‘He’s getting sick cos he made a project’. Such supportive friends he have

“Mr. Lee, you can start now” The professor’s voice ringed in his head, waking him up from the thoughts of punching his friends later after class

He nod and cleared his throat.

“I hate them!” Sungyeol shouted in the car, his arms crossed in front of his chest and his lips pouting

“Who’s them?” Moonsoo ask as he yawned and looks at the tall man beside him uninterestingly

“My friends, I’m reporting in front of the class and they kept laughing is as if I’m a big joke! Well they didn’t do any better than me!”

“Aren’t you not?”

Sungyeol immediately glares at the brat and Moonsoo just smirked back “I’m joking, no hard feelings dear Yeolie…”

“Don’t call me that” Sungyeol make out a disgusted face “It gives me chills, like something was about to happen or something” He brushes his hands on his arms “Seriously, a nickname coming out from you and your dad’s mouth is like a warning”

Moonsoo stares at him then flashes a teasing grin before fishing out his phone in his backpack and busies himself with the new game he just finished downloading. Sungyeol rolled his eyes and continue to pout until they reached home.

Another note: Also the name Yaala means Gazelle, and the way it pronounces sounds like 'Yeol-ah' from Sungyeol-ah :3
