Three months later.  Karen turned over all her businesses to Kim.  She proudly announced to the national television that she had a daughter.  Pie went home with Kim to introduce to her parents.  Her parents accepted their relationship.

                Everything went smooth.  Pie was still head of the accounting department in the same company. 

                She was about to leave her office, her phone buzzed. She received a text message:

8:00 pm tonight at my place. Dress nice. xx -Kim

Yes, babe. I miss you.  –Pie

Miss me already? We just had coffee 2 hours ago. –Kim

Yes, I always miss you. See you tonight. –Pie

See you. –Kim

Pie was 5 minutes late.  She honked her car at the front of Kim’s house. The guards opened the gates and greeted her.

“Good evening, Miss.”

Pie looked at the house.  It was dark.  “Is Miss Kim home?”

The guard didn’t answer.  He gave the key to Pie.

“So nobody’s home.” Pie muttered. She moved the car and parked at the front door.  She unlocked the door with the key gave from the guard.  As she entered the house, it was completely dark, she heard a piano playing.

“Kim, is that you?” No one answered.  The piano kept playing.  As she walk to the piano, the light at the center of the living room and the light beside the piano suddenly lit, there she saw Kim playing the piano.  Kim signaled her to stop walking and stay in the middle of the living room.  Then started to sing,

"Feels like I'm standing in a timeless dream
of light mists with pale amber rose
Feels like I'm lost in a deep cloud of heavenly scent
Touching, discovering you"

                Then the sound from the Cajon rolled, then all the lights in whole house lit, there were people standing watching including her parents. Kim signaled a man from her back to play the piano, then she stood up walked closer to Pie.

Those days of warm rains come rushing back to me
Miles of windless summer night air
Secret moments shared in the heat of the afternoon
Out of the stillness, soft spoken words
Say, say it again

The people around watching them started to clap together with the music.  Pie’s eyes started to water that cannot handle to stop. Kim held her hand.

"I love you always forever
Near and far, closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you
I love you always forever
Near and far, closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you"

The music skip to the end part.  Kim took a small box from her pocket and kneeled down.

"Say you'll love, love me forever
Never stop, never whatever
Near and far and always and everywhere and everything"

                “Will you love me forever, Pie? Will you marry me?”

                Without hesitation, Pie answered, “yes.”  Never stop, never whatever.

                Kim held her hand and put the ring on her finger.  She stood up, kissed Pie’s temple and hugged her tighter.

Thank you for taking care and not leaving me, Pie.  My best place in the world is in your arms. You only not hold me at my best, but you picked me up and hugged me tight at my weakest moments.  I promise you, I will do that the same to you.  I will take care of you.  I love you, Pie. So much.”

“I love you too, Kim.  You are my home.”
