Jessica's POV

Eventually, we got sent home by the school nurse.

It was already 6:30 PM. How long was I knocked out, anyway?

"I'm saying that I like you!"

Yuri's confession kept replaying in my head. I mean, how could somebody like me?

Of course, I'll admit. I am gorgeous.

Anyways, Yuri walked with me. This is my first time leaving school with someone.

"Do you go the same route, too?" I asked, looking at her.

She smiled. "I don't."

"Then why are you following me?"

"It's what my conscience said." Then she laughed.

This woman is so corny, I could kick her right now.

"Whatever floats your boat." Then I walked ahead of her. 

It was already dark and as I reached our house, I looked back and saw Yuri. This woman just doesn't know how to quit.

I turned around. "How long are you gonna keep following me?" I asked.

She just shrugged.

Then my mom showed up from nowhere.

"Sooyeon-ah!" She shouted as she embraced me. "Welcome back."

Then as she let go of me, she walked to Yuri. "Who is this?" she asked, looking at me.

"That's Yuri."

Then Yuri bowed. "Good Evening, Ma'am. I'm Kwon Yuri, Jessica's batchmate."

Seeing Yuri like that, being formal and all, is kinda awkward. I'm used to seeing the easy-going Yuri.

Then my mother bowed as well. "I'm Jessica's Mother." then she looked up at Yuri and smiled. "This is the first time she's ever come home at this hour."

It's true. I always come home at exactly 4:30. But it's now 7PM so that's a first.

"It's also the first time she's brought a friend over."

I widened my eyes. "F-F-Friend?"

Yuri giggled. "Is that so? I'm happy to hear that." My mom giggling along.

"Have dinner with us, Yuri-ah." My mom offered.

"Umm...If it's okay with Jessica."

"It's fine."
