Like picking up the pieces of some shattered pottery, I wondered, "What the heck is this?"
Blood dripped down from my fingertips. So different from what it had been, it cut me by surprise.
I knew at the bottom of my heart, the hardest choice would be the best. My self-love refuses it and repeats self-contradiction.

The Main Characters
Ru Aya
Your everyday, average 17 year old high school girl. She's bubbly, friendly but does get angry and upset from time to time. She can feel insecure and self-conscious. There's nothing extraordinary about her, she has friends, a good, stable family and she's happy most of the time. Though that is said, she is an average girl, she has needs and wants. She does dream about falling in love and getting married.
Lee Sungyeol
He's your 18 year old, boy-next-door choding. He's cheerful and brings a smile to everyone's face. He's not the type to be too serious, he's childish that way. He's pretty friendly towards everyone, even strangers so he makes friends easily. Like most boys, he likes girls but he actually has respect for them. Of course, he's not always happy, he has a side to him that is filled with hidden feelings too. He knows when someone doesn't want to talk and when they need to be alone.

Aya's Note
I just had to get this off of my chest, it's a song-fic. For those who don't know what it is, it's a story based on a song. I'll be adding my own things to the story but you probably won't be able to tell.
It's not a kpop song but I just love the song. For those of you who actually know it, don't ruin it for everybody and for those who don't know it, don't look it up because it'll spoil the story.
I'm using two different lyric translations but it's more or less on the same line. I put in the lyrics too but again, you probably won't be able to tell.
It may not be like other song-fics (I've never read a song-fic before so don't judge me) but I really wanted to write it like this.
Also! The story will start a year or two back, it'll work it's way up to present time.
