You woke up feeling excited the next day. You were happy since it's your birthday. You baked a batch of cookies for Youngmin and skipped happily into the school gate. You saw him walking into the class, and so you darted towards him and timidly handed him the cookies.

He arched his eyebrow and looked at you, confused

"What's this for?" he frowned and obeserved it with a disgusted expression on

"Today's a special day for me" you giggled

"What day is it today?"

"You don't know?" your eyes grew bigger and rounder

He shook his head nonchalantly

You turned your gaze to the floor and stuck out your tongue at him when he wasn't looking

"How can he not remember my birthday" you whined in your head and started throwing tantrums

Youngmin heard you and smirked, "Of course I wouldn't forget your birthday"

The schol bell rang

When you have already changed into your work clothes and was about to take the cooking utensils, Youngmin grabbed hold of your wrist and dragged you out.

"Where are you taking me?" you tried to break free from his tight grasp

"Somewhere, I'm going to give you extra work" he hissed

You pouted and glared at him. "He's treating me so coldly on my birthday"

He took off your apron from you and snatched away the menu in your hand

"Change into this" he handed you a dress and a pair of heels

"What for?" you blinked innocently at him

"You don't have to know. Just hurry up and change" he pushed you into the restroom and waited impatiently outside.

"Are you done?" he asked while looking at his watch

"Not yet" you were struggling

"Hurry up" he bossed

"Done!" you jumped out and he saw your bright expression and was touched

He was gaping at you

You grew embarrassed since you thought that it doesn't fit you very well because you don't normally wear dresses.

"Let's go" he interlocked his hands with you and walked with you to a posh restaurant

"What are we doing here?" you were curious

"To celebrate my girlfriend's birthday" he chuckled

"Oh. She must be very lucky" you murmured

"He didn't even tell me that he has a girlfriend!" you screamed in your head

The lights immediately went off when you stepped inside. You used your sense of touch to walk your way to your table

Then, suddenly the lights were switched on and Youngmin was kneeling down in front of you with a bouquet of flower in his hand and a ring on the other.

"Happy Birthday ~~~. Will you be my girlfriend?" he said. His cheeks were flushed

You tried so hard to cover your tomato red cheeks

"Youngmin" you said, panting

He flashed you his killer smile and slid the ring into your finger

"I'll take that as a yes" he winked at you and pulled you into a hug

You had no choice but to hug him back

"I thought you hate me" you cried on his shoulder

"I don't care what my father thinks about you. I won't let anyone interfere" he said in a soothing voice
