XD   ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 11:    The morning after that nightmare like event, the exhausted looking Tiffany laid her back on the matress and remove the covering sheet on her face. She looks like she didn't sleep at all, eyes swollen due to crying from time to time during the night til the morning.    Every hurtful word that came out from the guy is on repeat in her head, like a playlist on loop. Each time that it's replaying, the more holes is dogged in her heart. She can't deny that what Jesse thinks about her is a big deal, she can't help but to think of what she did wrong. The very secretive guy is very hard to understand this time. She lazily sat up on her bed and look at the opposite one. Seems like the younger Jung didn't come home last night that means she didn't hear her muffled cries and sniffs.   Tiffany silently thanks Krystal for not coming home, yes she have to admit that Krystal is a very good listener and adviser, and on top of everything, she is very comfortable sharing things to the girl even if it’s about the latter's brother; But there is this point of time that one wants to have their alone time and have their thoughts battle in the mind, a silent and serene time to ease one's inner self.   The sitting girl started to panic when she saw that the sun shines so bright already, means that she's late than her usual time to wake up. She run to take her shower and started to do things fast, like a ninja.   Running downstairs, she hurriedly proceeds to the dining area catching the figures of Mr. and Mrs. Jung and Jesse who has this firing look to her. Tiffany was taken aback by how the guy looks at her.    'Shouldn't I the one who should be furious to him? What's wrong with this guy?' She thought as she frown but then, didn't let herself lose to the battle and return an equally fiery look to him.   "Good morning sugar, you woke a little late. Come and eat" Mrs. Jung greeted the slightly panting girl, noticing the change of emotion from Jesse to her.   "Oh, Good morning too, I thought you and uncle will be back by lunch?" The girl politely greeted the elder Jungs   "Ah, your uncle here has an emergency meeting so we come home first thing in the morning" Mrs. Jung answered as she gestured the still standing girl to sit and start to eat.   "I'll go and get my leave mom, dad" Jesse interrupted and stood up from his sit, not looking at Tiffany but surely emitted hate and tension.   "How about waiting for Tiffany before going to school?" Mrs. Jung asked Jesse who is on his way to the main door.   "I don't want to be late mom" He answered with tinge of irritation and then continues his walk   "Then how do you expect Tiffany to arrive there?" Jesse's mom throws another question, seeing how inconsiderate her son is. She can feel that there's some bad vibes between the two.   "Ah It's okay auntie, I already asked a friend to fetch me" She answered with a smile directed to Mrs. Jung who is clearly worried to her.   "Which friend?" The curious lady asked.   Jesse halted on the door hearing that 'friend' word again and looked back.   "its Yoona auntie" She answered before sitting down the chair thinking to contact Yoona to get her.   The idea of not having a ride to school never crossed her mind forgetting that she usually rides with Jesse's motorcycle on her way, and now that they fought, like a serious one, of course she can't just do the usual thing.   Hearing the girl's answer, the mother of the household held a smile and faces her son whose head is on them since she can still catch the door view from her seat.   Jesse flinched seeing his mom eye to eye because he didn't expect her to still notice his presence. He immediately opens the door and storm out of the house.   Not too long after, Yoona's car arrived in front and fetches Tiffany who received a scolding from Yoona for not informing her ahead of time that she'll be a chauffeur. Tiffany luckily sneaked out the sight of the elders and sent Yoona the emergency request.     __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________     2 weeks passed by and the cold but fiery aura between Jesse and Tiffany became stressful not only to the two but also the Jung's who can't even break the ice between them. Even their bff's are stressed because of worry of the sudden attitude of their friend, basically everyone around them is affected.   The tension between the two never went down, it's just getting tougher and tougher by time. Both of them are deeply affected by it, Jesse having a hard time in his basketball practice with the competition nearing and Tiffany beginning to be so depressed by everything.   They always have this staring battle which no one wants to surrender. Little did they know, when the other is not looking, one will observe whatever the opposite is doing, not the look that is full of hatred but the look which is curious and with worry wrapped in their stare. Jesse and Tiffany can't help to admit to themselves that they can never completely hate each other but still act as tough as steel when facing each other.   Another morning has arrived and the usual gloomy house these past weeks is still the same. Now, Tiffany who's in a hurry not wanting to be late again is rushing to the stairs when at the other side of the hallway, an equally rushing Jesse is also on his way to the stairs.   Both halted just a few steps away from each other, locked their eyes to each other. The sense of bitterness with the usual coldness is evident in Jesse's eyes while Tiffany has this confusion mixed with anger in hers.   Jesse stood straight in front of Tiffany emphasizing how tall he is in compare to the girl. He tries to act like he doesn't care but he can't help but to check the girl out, Tiffany is wearing a simple jeans and a one sided off shoulder blouse but she still look dazzling like a rare gem, moving his eyes from her eyes to every detail of her to her toes and then back up. A chuckle escaped the guy's mouth laughing to himself of why he missed their teasing, touches and talks when he used to talk to no other girl except Krystal and his mom. But that was way before this girl in front of him stole a kiss from him and happens to start living in their house.   He then took the stairs, leaving the glued and dumbfounded girl in there.   On the other hand, Tiffany took Jesse's 'checking out' in a very opposite way. She felt so tensed when Jesse's gaze travels up and down feeling that he is judging him because he looked so cold and very blank. Most importantly, his slight chuckle made her feel that he's looking down at her, mocking her and she can't help but to feel really rejected. For her it's a skeptical smile that directed to her, doubting everything about her. Tiffany felt a piercing in her heart, to stressed and so full of this thing that is happening between her and Jesse.   She breathed in and out deeply to ease her pain and then proceeded downstairs, shaking some emotions at the back of her mind to prevent her from breaking down anytime soon.   Silent breakfast in the dining area is being held when the doorbell rang and a very excited Mrs. Jung stood up and glides to the door.   "Stella Hwang!" Mrs. Jung cheerfully greeted her best friend with a tight hug after she opened the door. The others who are eating halted hearing the name of their guest, Tiffany immediately stood up from her seat and run to the door, the others followed to greet the lady.   "Mom!" Tiffany ran to her mother's embrace.   "Aigoo my daughter, how old are you again?" Mrs. Hwang asked as he caressed her daughter's back after hearing soft cries from her lovely daughter.   "Mom, you didn't inform me that you'll be home" Tiffany said still in her mother's warmth.   "That's the definition of surprise dear, and didn't you get the hint when I asked if you have some request from anything in there?"   The other family members greeted Mrs. Hwang and make her join their breakfast.   "So, I have this couple of weeks off, since the slight problem there subsides and my husband said he can take care of the business for the meantime, I decided that I shall go and make the most of the time with my daughter" Mrs. Hwang paused. "Of course, me and your mother here had been talking about this lately, since having my daughter here made an additional burden here in this household, I thought of taking my daughter with me for the time being that I'm here so that you'll have your private family time less my loud daughter here." She smiled to everyone, the people besides her best friend turned with a slight shock because of the announcement.   "I've been telling Stella that her daughter Tiffany here is never once a burden to the family and she's considered as a family member already, but since I know how much she misses her daughter I agreed to it. And I think we also need this to clear our minds, right?" Mrs. Jung eyed Jesse, she knows that her son is also shocked because he stopped moving his hands and lost his stare to the food in front of him.   The two mothers had been talking about the problem of the two, that's what made Mrs. Hwang's surprise to be move so early because they thought that this little space will help the two with their conflict and hopefully fix the misunderstanding that they have.     "Unnieeeeee! I'll miss you!" Krystal clings on her unnie after she helped her pack some things to bring in her apartment with her mom.   "Stop exaggerating Krys, I'll be back in a few weeks here." Tiffany said while she hugged the younger one tightly. "I'm always thankful to you for sharing everything with me ever since. I really like you to be my real sister"    "Anyway, we'll still see each other often right? You can go visit our apartment anytime" Tiffany added as she started to grab her things to the waiting car at the front of the house.   Before bidding goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Jung and Krystal she checked if all her things are there. Her mom entered the car first and followed by Tiffany but before the car went off, she caught Jesse looking at her coming from his room window. She returned the stare before the car is completely away from the house and then heaved a very deep sigh and hugged her mother, seeking for comfort and the mother took note that she needs to talk about this with her daughter when she get the chance, She doesn't want to see her only child to be like this and just be happy with her life.   ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________   The Jung household is back to bein
