“Wait!” He shouts across his office.

I turn to face him.

The telephone rings again.

“Yeah sure. Bring the recent files to my office.”

I hand the folders to him. “Here, sir”

He opens one of it right away and I just watch him.

He keeps a straight face while turning the pages.

“Is there more, sir?”

“Nothing. You can go.” He motions his index finger to the door.

I do as I’m told.

Piles of documents on my desk are waiting for me again.

I open the first one.

Mianhamnida. What I’ve done yesterday was wrong. I promise to behave. Can we spend lunch together?

I can’t type a reply. I’ve been holding my phone for 5 minutes now.

*Lunch break*

Everyone’s rushing out of the building and I am sitting in front of my desk, almost forgetting that I’ll be having lunch with BIBS.

A hand surprises the crap out of me. Someone lays my hand on my desk.

I look up only to see BIBS flashing a radiant smile.

I get up and follow him.

He brings me to his restaurant. He lets me sit then he talks to a waiter.

Now, he’s walking towards me.

“Lu Han, do you like Kris?”

“Uhm… Neh. But he’s an , so forget it.”

“That’s right. He really is.”

His phone rings.

“Excuse me:

I nod in understanding. He stands up and answers the phone.

His posture, the way his mouth twitches, his pointed nose, the way he laughs, the crinkling of his eyes. Now, I know why Minseok is so in love with him.

And maybe, I’ll see him visiting my apartment soon but he won’t be visiting me… but Minseok.

Just the thought of it… MAKES ME PUKE.

Why did I even mention those?

I’m definitely keeping my track away from Oh Sehun.

I clear my thoughts as he approaches back to our table.

The waiter arrives with a basket on his hand.

He hands it to BIBS then leaves.

“Should we go now?”

What the? He’ll let me starve?

Why did I even think that he’ll be treating me for lunch?

He’s a bastard, remember?

I slam the door of his car hardly.

He drives swiftly.

Where are we going?

“The building is not here”

“I know. Who told you we’re coming back?”

Where is he bringing me?

We stop at a park.

He goes out and he doesn’t even bother to open up the door for me.

Really a bastard.

He spreads a mat on the grass and opens the basket.

Picnic at the park? At our lunch break?

I hop out of his car and sit on the other side of the mat.

“Why are we here?” I scan the few people on the park.

“I want to experience this,” he answers calmly.

“You didn’t try it before? Even when you’re a child?” I curiously ask.

“I have no childhood. When I was a kid, I didn’t play with toys. I didn’t play at all. I handle folders and files of documents. Childhood means a lot of training to me”

“That’s not fair”

“It’s ok. At least, I have a company and I have everything I want…except one thing”

“What is it?”

“A girlfriend, Lu Han. A girlfriend.” He looks at me in the eye.

I can’t take my eyes off of him. It’s hard to. Those eyes are trapping my soul.

His voice is echoing through my ears.

I blink several times and look away.

This is all so wrong.
