A Photo Together
"I want to go back home" she said and closed her eyes.
*Tok*
"Aww" she said as something fall on her head. She look up and saw a squirrel going away. She scratched the part of her head that was hit by the nut and look down. She saw Minhyuk standing and is looking at her. She sighed before climbing down the tree.
"It doesn't work" she said
"So what shall we do now?"
"I don't know... maybe the tree is not really magical"
"w..wait, what if you really have a mission"
"mission?"
"uhm, just like you said, you want to meet your parents here, then why don't you meet them"
"but... You said that I should not just go to them and tell the truth"
"Yes, I said that, but meeting them, does not necessarily mean that you'll have to tell the truth. You can meet them as an ordinary student here"
"Will that work?" She asked
"We won't know if we won't try" he said
"You have a point"
"Okay, I'll try that tomorrow... wait..how?"
"You have the uniform, you can enter the school without any problem"
"Yeah, wow I didn't know that you're smart"
"Yeah yeah, now let's go home. I'm hungry"
January 23, 2035
Jiyeon sat inside a coffee shop, staring blankly at her phone. She was supposed to be on a hiking trip now with Seyoung, but the girl haven't showed yet.
She left a note at their doorstep and she wished that she will read it.
"Jiyeon"
She look up and saw Lee smiling at her
"Oh, Lee, what are you doing here?"
"Just walking around"
"oh, wait I thought you'll have a party"
"tsk, their all so boring.anyways, shouldn't you be in a hiking trip with Seyoung my love?"
"pfft.. what? Well, you love Seyoung is not showing up till now. I can't even reach her through phone. I think.. something happed to her"
"WHAT?!"
"I'm home" Jiyeon said as she entered their house.
"Jiyeon, I thought you'll go with Seyoung" her mom asked
"Ahm, we'll go tommorow" she lied.
"Jiyeon taste this" her uncle Jongin came out from the kitchen with a tray of cookies
"Woah, looks delicious, did you made this uncle?"
"yes!" He said proudly "so how was it?"
"mmm" she munched on one of the cookies. "Mmm!!! It's delicious!!" She beamed
"Really? Wait is that real? Or you're saying it only because I'm your uncle"
"eyy, it's really delicious"
"Let me taste" Jiyeon's mom said and grab a cookie.
"mmm, well done for a beginner" Her mom said
"Noona, just admit that I'm great" Jongin said
"tsk tsk"
"But, uncle why are you baking cookies for?" Jiyeon asked
"For my beautiful wife" Jongin said
"Aww, sweet. But where is Aunt Naeun? Why didn't you come with her?"
"She's on her way now.."
*dingdong*
"that's probably her" Jongin said, Jiyeon walked to the door to open it and it reveal a beautiful lady
"Waah" two little boys from behind her came running inside
"Aunt Naeun!" Jiyeon beamed and hugged her, but look down when she felt something.
"Woah, you're pregnant?" Jiyeon beamed and smiled seeing her Aunt's round tummy.
"Yes, Hihi, you've grown so pretty Jiyeon-ah" Naeun said to her
"Thank you auntie" Jiyeon said
They entered the house and have a chat. The two little boys were Jongin and Naeun's twins. They were Jonghyun and Jongshin. And Naeun is now 5 months pregnant with their third child.
After their chat, Jiyeon went up to her room to rest. She look at her phone, but she haven't received a message from Seyoung yet.
"Aish, Seyoung, where are you really?" She said, "oh wait, aunt Hayoung!" She widened her eyes when she remembered.
She grabs her phone and typed something
Umma, I'm sorry if I haven't message yesterday.
My phone got broken. I'm with Jiyeon, I think this trip will be for 3 days.
It's hard to get a connection here, so I can only message you rarely.
But don't worry, I'm safe here :)

Jiyeon stared at the screen. Luckily, she knows Seyoung's way of texting. Her hands were shaking, she don't know if she will send it or not....but in the end...

"Oh God help me"

After their dinner, Seyoung just sat lazily on the sofa. She took her phone and examine it. There was no network signal. She noticed that the time was 8:15 PM, she look at the wall clock and the time was right. But when she look at the date, there was no date. She went to settings option. There was the setting for the time, but when she clicked the setting for the date, it would error.
"What's wrong here?" she said to herself and stared at her phone.
"want some?" Minhyuk sat beside her and offered her a glass of milk. He also has his own glass.
"ah, thanks"
"After drinking that, go to bed. You have to go to school tomorrow"
"Neh" she said before chuckling
"why?"
"You're like my mom" she laughed "ah, let's take a photo!" she said and opened her phone's camera
She strecthed her arms and smiled widely , while Minhyuk, not wanting to be a killjoy, showed a pouty face.
"okay...1,2,3 Kimchi!!"
