BONUS CHAPTER
January 22
"Yes I will really try this time" Minhyuk said over the phone
"Promise?" The girl from the other line said
"I..."
"You promised me last time!"
"Okay okay" he just said. He was once again annoyed by his annoying cousin, Jiyeon. Well not that he's not annoying himself. Jiyeon just called him and ask him to go with her to a hiking trip with her bestfriend.
"Yey! I can't wait for you to meet Seyoung!" Jiyeon said from the other line. Hearing the familiar name, Minhyuk's interest level with his cousin’s plan raises a bit.
"Who? What did you say is her name again?"
"Seyoung. Oh Seyoung. Oooh and now you're interested with her huh"
"Ji it's not like that!"
"Don't worry I know you will like her once you met. She is sooooo pretty"
"Whatever" he said and ended the call. He was actually in Seoul now, but he didn't go to her aunt's house. Instead he went straight to the park and sat under the biggest tree, not knowing that Seyoung was there, on top.
He lean his back in the tree and breathe the fresh air. He really likes the ambiance here.
"If I travel now, then I'll have a week to find omma." He said to himself, based on his calculations.
Kim Minhyuk, is a time traveller. He can travel back to the past and future. But his power is only finite. It has an end. When he first learned of his power, he became very excited and uses it just for fun. When he finally came to the realization that his power is not infinite, that's the only time he tried to use it to have a chance of meeting his mother, who died when he was just two. He have traveeled back to the past to meet her mother, on his first try, he travelled 2 years short because that time it’s 2018, the second try he travalled way back to her mother’s childhood days. What he actually wants is to travel back to the time when her mother just gave birth to him and to see her taking caring of him. He wanted to see how their family was when they were still complete. And now he was only left with 2 chances of travelling, for travelling back to the past and the other for coming back to his own time. If he'll use it now, he can travel back to the year when he was born and came back, when he wants.
He raised his hands, and tried to concentrate, and with a snap of his fingers, strong winds blew. And that was the moment he realized that there is someone up the tree. It's too late now, he can't stop now. Just as fast as Seyoung's fall from the tree is the time taken for them to travel to the past.
"Ahhhh!" She screamed ready to hit the ground,
"Ouch!" Minhyuk screamed as Seyoung landed on his body
"Ah I'm sorry! I'm really sorry, I just lost my balance and..." Seyoung apologized
"Who told you to be up on that tree? Don’t you know how heavy you were?!" Minhyuk said, annoyed at her. What will he do now to this girl? She wasn’t supposed to be there. She wasn’t supposed to travel back with him.
"Yah! Mister, that's why I'm apologizing, was it my fault that the wind suddenly blows like that? And who told you sit under the tree? What are you even doing there huh? You maniac." she retorted.
"Excuse me? Me? A maniac? I'm sorry I'm a diligent guy, and for your information, even a real maniac won't have interest in you" Minhyuk said, this girl is sure hard headed.
"Yah what are you looking at?!" she covered her body with her hands
"pssh, as if there's something to see" he murmured
"aish whatever I don't have time for a rude guy like you" Seyoung started to pick up her bag and the photos. She went near Minhyuk and kicked his shin before turning around and started to walk away while the guy whined in pain
"Yah!" he shouted.
She stopped walking and looked around "What the hell did just happen?"
‘You just travelled back to past with me’ Minhyuk said in his mind as he stared at Seyoung’s shocked face.
Minyhyuk then decided to set off first. Leaving Seyoung still confused at the park, but she called him and now asking him about what happened. But since he can’t just tell her that he’s a time traveler, he pretended to be living in that time. But one thing about the girl that he noticed is that she’s annoying and always called him hey, and begins their first bickering. After that Minhyuk had already leave her, and started to walk to his house. But he intentionally walked slowly because he knew that the girl will follow him. And he’s not wrong, because he saw her walking past him while trying to hide her face. He decided to about following him but she just continue to walk, and after a while stopped in front of a vacant lot.
“So you live there? On the vacant lot?" He asked. But she ignored him
"Ah! I'm going crazy!" She said and ruffled her own hair in frustration.
Minhyuk watched her frustrated, while trying to call someone. But realizing that she can’t she just crouched down and cried. Seeing her cry made Minhyuk guilty, even though she’s annoying he still pity her since she’s not really supposed to be there with him. He should’ve checked first if everything is clear.
He tried to comfort her but she just nodded and then walked away. Soon enough, rain started falling and Minhyuk look for cover, but seeing the girl walked through the rain in that state, he ran to her and pulled her to a shed.
When he heard her stomach rumbling, he offered her to eat and obliged. They went to a convenient store and that’s when she learned that they were in 2014. Minhyuk tried his best to show that he doesn’t know anything about her time travelling.
Minhyuk then got surprised when the girl just suddenly Seyoung went running outside and called one student as “appa”. Looking at that guy, Minhyuk recognized him and his group of friends. They were EXO, he can’t be wrong. He knows them since he already saw them when he was young, because one of them is his uncle, it’s Kim Jongin.
“Wait did he just called Sehun uncle as appa?” He asked himself as he watched Seyoung blocked Sehun’s way. “Oh my God! She’s Seyoung?” He rose from his seat, but how can he take her away from EXO when his uncle Jongin is there? And soon Apink also came into view, so he decided to go to them, and he’s just in time before Seyoung could say that she’s from the future. He casually pulled her from them and said sorry to them. After pulling her away they were set to another argument but after it, he decided to “help” her during her stay in the past since he she was his responsibility. Also, he learned that he was right, she was Oh Seyoung. The same Oh Seyoung that he used to play with when he was six. And he wondered if she’s also the same Seyoung that was the bestfriend of his cousin Jiyeon. But this question already got answered when they went to his home, and Seyoung said that it was her bestfriends house. Minhyuk knew that she was pertaining to Jiyeon because that house belonged to their family ever since, but he need to lie to Seyoung that time and said that she didn’t know Jiyeon and her family.

The next morning Minhyuk woke up early and cooked breakfast. Seyoung then came running from the stairs. She asked him where he was going and again he had to lie about his work. Well he was really a photographer, but he’s a freelance photographer. What he told her is that he’s working for a magazine, which is actually his father’s job. That day, he was supposed to start his plan of looking for her mother, but since Seyoung is there with him, he decided to just postpone it. They decided to go to the mall since Seyoung will be needing clothes while she stays there. After that they went to the park, and to show Seyoung that he really intended to “help” her, he just said to try and do what she did before travelling to that time, even though Minhyuk knew that it won’t be effective since he was the only one who can bring her back to the future, but he can’t do that now, not when he’s still not seeing her mom. When he learned about her plans for her parent’s anniversary he just suggested for her to meet and know them, but still remembering to not reveal her real identity and where did she came from. It is also a way for Seyoung to have something to do while Minhyuk looks for her mom.

That day Seyoung went to school and Minhyuk set off for his own mission. He first went to the house where his father and mother live. He looked for the address and it’s not long until he saw the house. He’s just staring at it from outside, the house looks empty, until an ahjumma walked to him.
“Excuse me, are you looking for someone?” the ahjumma said
“Ahm, where are the people who live here? Kim Minhyun?” he asked telling the name of his appa
“Ah, the Kims, they are not there. Minyoung is about to give birth but since there was no one to take care of her since her husband is busy from his work; she needs to stay in the hospital. Are you related to them?”
“Ah is that so. Well, I’m their relative, Thank you very much, but may I ask what hospital are they in?”
After the ahjumma have told the hospital’s name, he thanked her and set off. He step out of the elevator after reaching the floor that the nurse have told him. He was turning at a corner when he saw Seyoung walking out of a room and went to Kyungsoo “So she met one of them, but what are they doing here?” he asked himself. When Seyoung was out of sight, he walked to the room that Seyoung came out from. From outside the door he saw the person that he was looking for, his mother Kim Miyoung. He was about to step inside the room when a guy stepped came, the guy have stopped by the doorway and looked at him before entering the room. He can’t be wrong, that was his father, the younger version. He saw his father went to her mother and gave her a basket of fruits
“Yeobo!” His mom greeted “I thought you are at work?”
“Well I missed you and baby already, so I need to passed by” his father said and kissed his mom and her tummy, where the fetus him was still developing.

That day Minhyuk decided to tour Seyoung around the city. They went to the park, took photo of everything and was even thought as a couple by a cotton candy vendor. But so suddenly Seyoung was gone out of Minhyuk’s sight and he have to ran all over to look for her and finally found her with EXO. He immediately called her and EXO looked at them, he was so worried of Seyoung that he just pulled her out of that place and went home. Holding her wrist tightly as if not wanting to let her go. When they were home, the atmosphere became heavy, and Seyoung just went upstairs. Minhyuk pulled his hair in frustration, he knew that shouldn’t act like that but he can’t help it, he was so worried sick of her. He just then decided to cook dinner, but he didn’t eat. He just cooked and put it on the table before putting a note in it that says sorry.
Minhyuk watched as Seyoung went out of her room and down the stairs. When Seyoung called her as ahjussi, he knows that she’s okay so he finally showed up and after eating together, they were okay. That night also, they view the photos that they took and Seyoung played with camera, that ended for their almost kiss scene at the sofa and Seyoung’s broken wrist.

The Sunday was awkward again for them. After eating their breakfast, Seyoung showered and went out of the house, Minhyuk knew that it was because she was still awkward. Minhyuk just decided to go to the mall, but after getting bored, he went to the hospital to see her mom. This time, he saw his mother walking out of his hospital room, she said that she needs to do it for her morning walk so he decided to help her. He was really happy that time, because he finally have the chance to touch her mom again, to see her alive. And all the time, her mother have complimented him on how handsome he was and everything, saying that she wants her son to be like him, not knowing that her son is already the one with him. He also witnessed how her mother really loves him, she always caressed her tummy and talk about a lot of stories. It’s a pity that he didn’t get to spend more time with this lovely lady, that she was taken from them too early.
After that, he finally said goodbye to her, even though he really don’t want to the day to end. He was about to exit the hospital when he saw Seyoung. They went to a convenient store, and finally the awkwardness was gone. Seyoung bought a magazine. He told her that the KMH photographer was him, but actually it was his father. That day, he also opened up to her, telling her the story of his family.
January 27, 2014
Minhyuk have walked Seyoung to school that day. After that, he was about to go but then he saw a van coming. He knew it’s a van for a photo company. Graduation is already coming and he thought that it was for the class photo. He didn’t became a Seoul High student and he’s actually curious as what the school looked like so, since he got his I.D he entered the school with the alibi as a late photographer. There he helped Seyoung make fun of two girls who were planning to break the relationship of her parents and also he watched the closeness of exopink together with Seyoung.
After that they went to the park again and once again Seyoung tried to get back to the past. Seyoung have mentioned about going to the amusement park, and it didn’t escape Minhyuk’s sharp hearing sense. He heard that Seyoung wanted to go there with him. Seyoung went up to the tree again and tried to go back, but of course it won’t happen not just yet.

It’s a day full of mixed emotions. They had been annoyed when they lose on games, they had been full of laughter and fun when riding different rides, they were happy, especially Seyoung, when they were finally able to win something and that is the teddy bear that Seyoung named as Minhyuk. They have felt sad, and they fell in love.
Minhyuk left Seyoung for a while saying that he will go to the bathroom, but he actually tour around and took photos of exopink in their tour there. He’s the one that took the photo of Luhan and Bomi while Luhan is proposing to her. When he came back to Seyoung, he saw the girl crying. He tried to comfort her with the method he knows best, hugs. It’s actually the only thing he can offer and Seyoung glady accepts it. When Minhyuk was hugging her, he can’t stop blushing secretly and his heart was racing. Surely, he was slowly falling in love with this girl. He wanted to protect her, and he promised himself that once they come back to the year 2035, he will make it up to her.
January 29, 2014
Today was Minhyuk’s birthday. He already had a plan on his mind, he went to the hospital early in the morning to visit her mom. He can’t really go near her, he just watched them from a far, her mother is already on labor and his father was beside her. He waited at the bench and then his mother finally gave birth to him. From afar, he saw his father jump with joy, after a while when his mother was transferred to a room, he saw how his father really took care of his mother. When the nurse took the baby version of him to them, he watched them happily.
At the same time, Jongin was running fast so that he can go already go to the hospital, one of his noona just gave birth. He skipped class for today and was very excited to see his first nephew. Jongin has the power of teleportation. He can travel to places with just a snap of a finger, but it’s not long ago when he decided not to use that power ever again, he actually think of it as a curse, he didn’t really exactly know the origination of his powers, he just woke one day that he can already transfer places so easily.
He was running so fast but then he decided to use this power that time, that time only. He finally snapped his fingers but bumped into Seyoung at the exact same time, taking Seyoung with him at the hospital. Everything happened so fast that when they landed at the palce, they bumped to a bike causing for the both of them to fall. He get bruises and wound from that, but he didn’t want to show his face to Seyoung, so he decided to ran away again and just headed to the hospital. He went straight to her sister and her family and saw the baby Minhyuk in her sister’s arm. He smiled seeing him. Seeing his wounds, the nurse have taken care of him before he can finally carry Minhyuk in his arms, that first contact with Minhyuk unknowingly cause his powers to transfer to the baby, but because of a contact with a Seyoung, a girl who travelled through time, the power that was transferred to Minhyuk change into not just travelling from place to place but to travelling trough time.
When Minhyuk decided to go home to Seyoung, he saw the girl at the hospital with wounds. He rushed to her immediately, worried on how she get those wounds. After that, they waled past the nursery, and there he saw the baby version of him.
“Oppa! Look at that baby! His name is Kim Minhyuk too! He has the same name as you!” Seyoung beamed, not knowing that they not only shared names.
After that they eat outside, Minhyuk also said to walk around the mall since he wants to spend his day with Seyoung, but the girl declined saying that she has still a lot to do. And all day, Seyoung just spends her day inside her room. She only went out at night when she got hungry. Minhyuk didn’t forget to cook food for her even though he’s a bit sad. Until the girl knocked on his door and said sorry for not knowing that it was his birthday, and also that night, they shared their first kiss.
January 30, 2014
Today, Seyoung said that she’ll spend the day with Minhyuk. But she has to put the invitations into exopink’s locker. But what Seyoung didn’t know is that Minhyuk changed the invitations into photos of exopink that he secretly took and hide the invitations that Seyoung made with him. He went to the mall and waited for her, but that was the only time he remembered about the tragedy that will happen. He have already read a news about the tragedy. When Seyoung came, he’s already panicking inside on how to take Seyoung out of the mall, also he thought that it’s the best time to get back to their own time. So he lied again, and angered her. Seyoung saw him entered the cinema, but when she’s gone, Minhyuk came running out of mall and secretly followed her. He followed her to the park and saw her climb up the tree. He went behind the tree and at the same time with the earthquake, they travelled back to 2035.
The moment when they’ve gone back to 2035, Seyoung’s memories from 2014 were automatically erased, and also the memories of all the people who interacted with her were erased as well. And only Minhyuk knows everything. Minhyuk touched Seyoung’s forehead before walking away, hiding behind the tree and watched when Lee came and brought Seyoung to the hospital.
After coming back to 2035, the first thing that Minhyuk do is to visit his mom in the cemetery. After that, he busies himself with searching the address of exo and apink to send the invitation that Seyoung made that he exchange before she’s able to slip them in exopink’s locker. And while he does this, he also watches Seyoung secretly.
February 4, 2035
“So, that’s it” Minhyuk said as he finishes his story. They were in the garden and were still talking. It’s already late at night, exopink decided to just overnight there. Fortunately, the Oh’s house is big and have spare rooms. Mostly the children occupied two rooms while exopink members decided to sleep in the biggest room altogether. Most of the children are already asleep while the adults are still awake and having some talks.
“So you mean, you’re not a time traveler anymore?” Seyoung asked,
“Yes, I already used my power to its limits”
“Ah, so how do you feel? You know being able to travel through time and meet your parents there?”
“Well, I’m happy. It’s sad that we end up like this, but seeing their love, how much they care for me. I was so grateful to them”
“How about you?”
“Me? Well, I’m happy too. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and thanks to your carelessness, you brought me into your adventure”
“Seyoung ah”
“Yeah?”
“Uhm…. You know our date that was ruined by circumstances, can we uhm…. Do it again?”
“What date?” Seyoung asked
“Hey, you know, the one you promised for my birthday”
“It’s not a date, and you’re the one who ruined it. There’s no second chance” Seyoung said, teasing him
“But I need to do that…. Seyoung ah… aish fine okay, forget about that. Even not for my birthday but, please go out with me still” He said, holding her hands
“Hmm, let me see. Ask appa first. Oh and I have eleven more uncles! How great is that, if they all agreed then okay, I’ll go out with you” Seyoung said
“But…. Seyoung ah” He whined
“Hey love birds!” Lee and Jiyeon appeared
“Oh hey love pigs” Seyoung said
“Yah! I’m not fat!” Jiyeon said and they just laughed
“Seyoung ah, can I sleep over here too?” Lee asked
“No, your house is just near go home. Me and Jiyeon are going to sleep now” Seyoung said and grin
“Huh? Can’t we just sleep here please”
“Seyoung ah, since I’m Jiyeon’s cousin then I can sleep here right?” Minhyuk asked
“No, go sleep over at Lee’s house”
“Hahaha goodnight oppa! Good night my Lee!” Jiyeon said and walk away with Seyoung laughing at the two
“Night night!”
“Yah!” The two guys whined
So as promised, here is the bonus chapter. Although I wrote this story in a thrid person's pov, I made it in a way that it's mostly on Seyoung's side. So this chapter is all about Minhyuk's side and all about the time travelling so yeah that's it.
P.S I actually planned to post this last Sept. 26 because it was bday (OMG I feel so old already lol) but due to schedule conflicts and school stuffs, I didn;t finish it so yeah I'm posting it just now. [Sem break will be in two weeks, I'm so gonna party and will get a lot of sleep *evil laugh* hahaha]
