CHAPTER 22    

Dates and Proposal        

January 28, 2014

The group of single people just finished the roller coaster ride and some games, they were currently resting when Chen asked Kai to buy him a drink.

"Kai can you buy me a soda at the vending machine" he said
"Why are you asking me? Don't you have feet?" 
"But I'm tired, my feet hurts already, please" Chen said and showed Jongin his puppy eyes
"Fine I'll do it, just don't do that again" Kai said whie showing a disgusted look at Chen'd aegyo

Kai then leave them to buy Chen's drink, after a while Lay said that he's also thirsty

"Ah I'm thirsty, Naeun can you go to Kai and told him to buy me a drink too?" He said
"Why me?"
"My feet hurts already, I'm tired. Please?"
"fine" she said and followed Kai at the vending machine.
"Wow she really go?" Kris said
"Come on guys let's leave them now" Chanyeol said and the rest followed.

"Jongin" 

Kai turned his head and saw Naeun

"Why are you here?"
"Lay said that he also wants a drink"
"okay, do you also want one? Should we just buy for all?" he asked
"Just buy two, we're gonna drink that anyways"
"huh?" he asked confusedly

The two then went back to where they leave the five boys but they're already gone.

"Where did they go?"Kai asked
"Tss, I knew it"
"Hey come on let's look for them,  maybe they just went to look around"
"Don't waste your energy Jongin, they won't let us find them anyway. They really planned to leave us together. I know you know that"
"How did you know that they purposely did it?"
"I didn't suspect it when Chen asked you to buy him a drink, I just knew it when Lay asked me to follow you"
"how?"
"Because Lay is a gentleman, even if he's tired, he won't ask me to go or any girls"
"Then if you already knew it, why did you still go?"
Naeun shrugged "I actually wanted to be alone..."
"Okay, so I'll go now"
"alone with you"
"huh?"
"Jongin, let's ride that" Naeun said and pointed to her left, Kai look at where she's pointing at and saw that she's talking about the ferris wheel. 

Yookyung and Xiumin are walking side by side with an awkward atmosphere around and as they walk the back of their hands are brushing against each other and it only took a few minutes and deep breaths before Xiumin take the courage of holding her hand. The sudden warmth that cover her hands surprised her and made her stop in her tracks. Xiumin then let go of her hands immediately

"I'm sorry" Xiumin said
"Ah no it's okay" Yookyung actually felt empty when Xiumin let go
"It's okay what?"
"huh?"
"Is it it's okay for me to hold your hands? Or it's okay meaning that you forgive me for suddenly holding your hand?"

Instead of answering him Yookyung just held his hand and  lowered her head as she pulled him to walk

"So I guess it's the first one, oh don't lower your head, you're beautiful so show it" he said and Yookyung cheeks became redder

"Oppa let's try that" Namjoo said and pointed to somewhere
"Photo sticker?" 
"yep"

The couple entered the small booth and started to pose. They also use some props available like the big glasses, clown wigs and different kinds of hats.

They posed weirdly and also sweetly, Kyungsoo hold Namjoo's shoulder and pulled her closer. For their last photo, Namjoo took a stick that has a lips drawn in it. She used and put it infront of her lips and Kyungsoo kissed her cheeks when the camera clicked

"Oppa!"

 Kyungsoo just smiled at her and pulled her out the booth to get their photo.

They like all the photo but their favorite was the last one, when Kyungsoo kissed Namjoo.

When Baekhyun is already okay, he and Eunji already walked around and went to the carousel

"Let's ride that Eunji"
"That? But won't we look weird? Most of the people there are kids"
"So what? I look like a kid anyways"
"yeah yeah" Eunji playfully rolled her eyes

Baekhyun pulled Eunji and they ride the carousel, the horses where they were riding were just beside each other. When the ride started to move, Eunji feels shy because some were looking at them but then Baekhyun held her hands and wash it away. They smiled and laugh at each other without knowing why. With his hand still holding hers,Baekhyun raised it and shouted "I Love you Jung Eunji!"
"Yah Byun Baekhyun!" she glared at him
"why?" Baekhyun look at her and pouted
"I love you too!" she suddenly shouted and smiled, showing her beautiful eyesmile.

When the group of single guys left Kai and Naeun they got bored and decided to just look around individually. As Tao was walking around, he saw a lot of couples together being sweet and such. Suddenly a girl bumped into him. She looks like in a hurry. 

"I'm sorry" the girl bowed
Tao didn't really mind it, he was about to apologize too when she saw the girl's face. 

"It's okay" he said and the girl smiled. Tao was stunned with her smile. He was not usually attracted easily but the girl's smile is different, it suits her and it just give her an aura. 

"Yah Lee Naeun! Hurry up!" A girl, Tao guessed as her friend, called the girl. The girl bowed again to him before running to her friend

"Of all names huh. But seriously are all Naeun in this world born goddesses?" He said to himself as he thought. He admits that Son Naeun is really beautiful and now he meets another Naeun and is strucked by her beauty. Then he remembered what Bomi said yesterday "...you can never tell, who knows tomorrow you will meet the girl who will make your jeart skip a beat"

And at that moment, Tao knew that Bomi was right.

Suho and Chorong went to the Tunnel of Love ride at the amusement park. Suho helped Chorong to to ride the swan shaped boat. When they are positioned, the two then enjoyed the romantic ride inside the tunnel. After a while there they were face with two tunnels and they have to choose which path to take

"Which one will we choose?" Chorong asked
"Which one do you like? The romantic path or the horro path?"
"Uhm, let's go to the romantic path" Chorong said
"Really?" Suho actually expected her to choose the horror path
"Neh, we'll gonna go to the horror house later so let's just go to the romantic part" she said

Suho then kept quiet, he thought that Chorong chose the romantic path because she wants a romantic moment with him, but it seems that she just want to try it

"Why?" she asked him
"nothing" he answered
"Tss, I know what you're thinking" Chorong said and moved closer to Suho. She then lean her head to his shoulders "Don't be sad, the reason why I chose this path is because we can cuddle freely here without being teased by the others"
Suho smiled and moved his arm slung it to Chorong's shoulder "I love you" he said 
"I love you too"

"Yaah!" Bomi shouted as her carbumped into Luhan's. 
"Aah!" 

Bomi and Luhan laughed as the little cars they were riding bumbed into each other. They enjoy touring at the amusement park especially trying all the rides for kids. After their car bump ride the two walk hand in hand to the children's playhouse where there are a lot of colorful balls inside (a/n I don't know what it is called, but you can imagine it right?). Their child hearts seem not to be embarrased with what they're doing. Suddenly, Luhan noticed that Bomi stopped laughing and just stared at the kids playing around them

"What's wrong Bbom?"
"oppa, I'm just wondering if you'll gonna be a good father or you'll be more childish than your kids"

Luhan stopped at the question, it 's so cute of  Bomi to ask. It was so innocent of her. 

"There is a way to know" he said
"Huh?" Bomi looked at him confused
"Let's make one" he said and smirked playfully 

Realizing what he had just said, Bomi's face immediately reddened. "Oppa!" She shouted making the kids look at her making her more embarrassed. She quickly stand up and walk out of the place. She walked ran to a place where there are only few people before covering her face. She's sure that she's still blushing madly.

"Noona" 

Bomi removed her hands on her face only to saw a little boy in front of her. He was holding a pink balloon and was giving it to her. She gave him a confused face so the boy reached his hand more while smiling as if telling her to get the balloon.

Not knowing what to do, Bomi just get the balloon from the kid and thanked him before he immediately runs out of her site. 

Bomi look at the balloon she's holding and that's when she noticed something tied at the end of its rope. She look at it carefully and saw that it was a ring. It's not a grand ring, but just an aluminum ring with big red heart on top. It's like the ring that one can get free inside a kid's snack.

"Bomi ah"

She turned around and saw Luhan. She smiled, she knew that it was him.

He untied the ring from the balloon  and while taking glances at Bomi once in a while "Bomi ah, I'm sorry what I've earlier. I know it's not in your plans yet to have a child, it's still too early for us. We still had a lot to do, we still had a lot of dreams and goals to reach" When he finally untied the ring, he gets it and look deeply into Bomi's eyes. "One of those things that we have to do before having a child, is to get married. Bomi, maybe you think it's too early for me to do this, but the moment I fall in love with you, I already know that you're the one for me. Don't worry, I won't rush the wedding, it can be after 5 years or so. And I'm also sorry if this won't be the most romantic proposal ever, and this is not an elegant ring, you know, I actually didn't plan to fo this today, right at this very moment. But I love you much so Yoon Bomi..." Luhan then kneeled in front of her, making her gasp and covered with her hand 

"Will you marry me?"

January 28, 2035

"I'm home" Luhan called as he put his shoes on the shoe rack.  He just came home form the office and is tired. He walked to the living room but didn't saw his wife or even her daughter there. He's sure that his daughter is at her room since she's always staying there thses days. Luhan then peeked at the kitchen but Bomi is not there, so he went to their room and saw her there sitting on the edge of the bed while looking at a photograph. Behind her, on the bed, are clothes and other things that are being packed.

"Hey" he called

"Yeobo, you're there. I'm sorry I didn't hear you came" Bomi said standing up. 

Luhan smiled and went to her, they both sat at the bed "It's okay. I see that you're busy packing already"

"I'm just packing early so that I won't be rushed and forget anything. And besides it'll be just a few days before we fly to Korea. Do I look like I'm excited?"

"Yes. I missed Korea too. And what are you looking at earlier?"

"This" She said and handed him the photograph. "I saw it when I'm packing, I'm actually surprised to find that, exactly 21 years after it was taken"

Luhan took the photo and smiled. It is a photo that made him remember the past. A photo that captured one of the best moments of his life. A photo that was sent to them anonymously. They didn't know who took the photo and how did that person know them, the photo was just sent to them 2 days after it happened. The photo showed a scene from 21 years ago, at the amusement park. In the photo Luhan is kneeling in front of Bomi while the girl is shocked, covering with her hand while holding a pink balloon on the other hand. Luhan is showing him a ring while smiling. It is the photo of him proposing to her.
