"Your tummy is so big" Seyoung said and smiled. She was really amazed by the fact that a child is inside the woman's belly

"Thank you for helping earlier" The lady said and smiled at her

"You're welcome"

"What's your name by the way?" The lady asked

"My name is Oh Seyoung"

"Beautiful name, suits a beautiful girl like you"

"Will it be a boy or  girl?" She asked her excitedly

"The ultrasound results show that it's a boy"

"wow, uhm may I ask why are you alone?"

"My husband is at work right now. We're expecting the baby these week so I have to stay here"

"Ah..oh"

"something wrong"

 

Seyoung remembered that she's with Kyungsoo.

 

"Ahm, I have to go now. Have a safe delivery" she said and bowed. But before walking out the the door, her eyes catch a glimpse of the name tag at the bed. 

 

 

 

 

The lady wave her hands at her too. She smiled as she get out but her smile faded when she was at the hallway. 'Oh gosh I lost them' she thought

 

"Hey" 

 

Seyoung turned to the voice and saw Kyungsoo, she sighed in relief as she saw him. 

"Where did you go?" He ask, irritation was obvious

"I'm sorry" Seyoung feels really guilty. "I just saw a pregnant woman who needs help" she explained and notices how Kyungsoo's expression softens.

"It's okay to help, but you could've just told me"

"I'm really sorry" she lowered her head

"stop saying sorry, it's okay. There she is" Kyungsoo said, the two were on a corner and peeking at Namjoo, who is talking with a doctor. After their conversation, the doctor leave and Namjoo entered the room.

 

 

 

Seyoung and Kyungsoo was standing outside the door of the hospital room where Namjoo went. Kyungsoo just wants to know who Namjoo visits that she has to ditch class. They went near the door and peek, but the door is a bit open, and they accidentally heard the conversation of the people inside

Hayoung is tapping her pen on her table. She wants to focus on the teacher discussing in front but she can't just ignore the empty chair infront of her. It was Namjoo's chair. Recently, Hayoung notices some changes in Namjoo. Namjoo is usually one of the moodmaker n the group, but she seemed quiet these past few days. She entered the class late and is the one to leave class once it's finish. Namjoo is also smart, she can be lazy but she really works hard in her study, but Hayoung notice that Namjoo is losing her focus. 

 

First class already eneded and the teacher bid goodbye. The students in the class stretched their bodies and the others started to chat with their friends while waiting for the next subject teacher to arrive. Hayoung just sighed and look out the window

"Hey"

She turned to the voice and saw Sehun, who sat on Namjoo's chair in front of her.

"Hey" She greeted back

"What are you thinking of?"

"Namjoo. I think something's wrong with her. I tried asking her, but she didn't tell me anything"

"Hmm" Sehun nodded and think " I actually saw her earlier, that's why I'm curious as to why she didn't come to class"

"She ditches class again" Hayoung said.

Namjoo bowed to the doctor. She went inside the room and picked an apple from the plastic bag. She sat on the chair and start to peel the fruit.

"Why are you here again?" Her dad, the patient, who was sitting on the hospital bed asked her coldly. Like he doesn't want to see her there.

Namjoo didn't look up, she didn't gave an answer too

"You ditch class again?!" Her father's voice is gets higher and she finally looks to him

"Why can't you just be happy that I'm here for you" She said 

"I told you, you don't have to. You should be in class right now. If you'll continue doing that then I should just be at home, I will die anyway, why am I even here at this hospital"

"Appa!" tears started to fell from Namjoo's eyes "You will not die, we already found a donor"

"I told you before, I will not undergo the operation! My decision is final!" Her father said

"APPA!" she cried "Why are you being so stubborn?!"

"We're not even sure with that operation, in the end, I will still die!"

 

 

Hearing the conversation from outside, Seyoung couldn't help herself, she barge in the room and face Namjoo's father. Kyungsoo tried to stop her but she's already inside. Namjoo and her father were shocked to see two other faces inside the room.

"Who are you?" Namjoo's father asked, Namjoo's eyes widen as she saw the two 'what are they doing here?' she thought

"Oh Seyoung imnida" she bowed " I'm sorry for just entering your room all of a sudden and hearing your conversation with your daughter. I know I don't know both of you personally, I don't know what you've been going through, I know that I am merely a stranger to both of you, but ahjussi, saying in front of your daughter that you will die eventually is something I can't take. No children in this world wants their parents to die. How can you say that to your own daughter? That only wants to be happy with you? That cares so much about you? Namjoo sunbaenim wants you to take the operation because it's her only hope, but why can't see that? Why do you have to be stubborn? I know, I don't have the rights to tell you this, but as a daughter, I feel Namjoo sunbaenim. I don't think I can take it if my parents were taken way from me. And this time, I'm not with them, I'm in a certain circumstances and I don't even know if I would see my parents again. My parents that take care of me, the parents that loves me. I want to go home so badly, because I already missed them so much, but I don't know how"

 

Namjoo is already crying and Kyungsoo went to her to comfort her. Even if he was confused by Seyoung's last words, Kyungsoo knows that it's alright. They were all surprised that after what she said, Seyoung bowed to Namjoo's father before leaving the room.

"Ahjussi"

"And who are you?" 

"I'm Do Kyungsoo. Sir, I agree with that girl, and right now I'm actually ashamed of myself. I know Namjoo for a longer time, I even want to be a part of her life. But I know nothing of what she's experiencing, of what she's going through. I can't even help her. But ahjussi, please, for Namjoo, do the operation. It may be risky, but it's Namjoo's only hope. She wants to live with you. She's just an 18 year old girl. I know that you are her only family. Will you be happy if you'll leave her? She has a lot of dreams and I know that she wants you to witness her achieving those. Excuse me." He said and bowed to the two before walking out

"K-kyungsoo" Namjoo said

Seyoung doesn't know what's gotten into her to say those words. When she get out of that room she immediately went outside the hospital. It was such an embarrasing show she did. She sighed as she sat on the bench. She thinks of her parents, she really missed them so much. Even if they were also there, at the time where she is, they were still different from the Hayoung and Sehun that she grew up with. 

 

"Hey" Kyungsoo came and sat beside her

"oh, sunbaenim"

"You know what, you're cool back there"

"I'm not"

"You are"

"I'm embarrased with what I've done"

"Let's just hope that her father will think about what you said. Oh, about what you said, are you not staying with your parents?"

"huh? ah...that...uhm yes"

"Ah, you're from the countryside?"

"what?" Seyoung asked but after a while, she understand, Kyungsoo thinks that she's from the countryside and just came to Seoul for her study "Yes" she just answered, of course she don't want to reveal where she really came from.

 

They sat there quietly for a while, when they stand up and decided to go, a voice stopped them

"Wait" Namjoo called and the two turned to her, she then suddenly hugged them both

"Na-namjoo?"

"Why? Sunbae.."

They were both clueless, and they noticed that Namjoo is crying

"Hey, what happened?" Kyungsoo ask worriedly but to his surprise, Namjoo bowed to them

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

"What happened?"

"Appa, appa already agreed to the operation!"

Walking back to school was alot more fun and with a light atmosphere. Namjoo was really thankful to Seyoung, and even promised that she won't ditch class again. 

 

"Seyoung, just tell me if you need something, I will gladly help you"

"It's okay sunbae"

 

When they arrive at the same wall, where they jump off, Kyungsoo decided to get back first, so she can help the girls when they get down to the other side. It was already lunch break, so it would be a perfect timing. Namjoo climbed the wall after Kyungsoo. She stepped into a barrel that help her reach the wall. When she's already up and is about to go to the other side, Seyoung already stepped at the barrel. On the other side of the wall, Kyungsoo helped Namjoo to get down.

 

"Having a date outside the school at school hours huh?"

 

 

The two frozed, they slowly turn around and saw the patrolling teacher standing behind them. 

 

 

 

 

Seyoung's skirt got hanged on a nail, causing for it to rip a little. When she already hopped on the other side, she can't see Kyungsoo and Namjoo anymore

 

"Where did they go?"
