Chapter Six

  "Wow!"

Krystal gasped in awe at the sight infront of her. Looking at the house from afar, her eyes sparkled in amazement as she took in the breathtaking scenery.

"Control yourself. Let's talk this over first," Lay nudged her, nodding his head to her right. They were on their way to see the house owner who was supposedly a 'scary yet comedic' owner.

"I don't the trust Koreans," The owner spoke, and Lay and Krystal were surprised.

"What's that?" Asked Lay.

The owner then turned around and asked his girlfriend, who was playing with a hat, "Babes, what do I always say about Koreans?"

His girlfriend looked at him and just answered with a strange voice, "Sorry?"

"Exactly. Means, I don't the trust Koreans."

"Hating Lee Kwangsoo was, is and will always be very easy. After moving from Busan to Seoul, it seemed for a while that he would never strike it rich. He kept getting pushed around from one place to the next. Someone suggested going abroad and driving a cab. And so he arrived in Melbourne, where he won the lottey. His luck took a turn for the better, but his personality stayed the same. Hopefully you won't like him too much, because he definitely doesn't like you."

"But you're Korean yourself, and..." Lay was soon cut off when Kwangsoo said, "I was Korean... was. Now, I'm Australian. Get it, mate?"

"Got it," Lay lowered his voice and turned his gaze to the ground.

"There are two kinds of Koreans. Babe, what are the two kinds of Korean?"

"Sorry?" His girlfriend asked once again. It was like she couldn't say anything except 'Sorry'.

"Exactly. One, the kind you can't trust. And two, the kind you can't tolerate," Kwangsoo blew on his cigarette, letting the smoke dissipate into the air.

"Look, we just want to rent your house. We don't want to cause any problems," Lay told Kwangsoo gently.

"I see that, I see that. I can see you're okay. Nice, married couple," Kwangsoo nodded, and Krystal and Lay looked at each other awkwardly. "Married couples I trust. When did you get married?" Kwangsoo piped.

"Soon-" "A week ago-" The two said at the same time and Kwangsoo gave them a strange look.
