Fo Sho Girl

Class 101

Chapter Nine; Fo Sho Girl

"And who said you had to be skillful? You just have to be a good cheat.” She winked.

Haru grinned at the girls’ evil plan,” Oh, you’re frisky.”

“I know.”

“Welcome class to your new senior year with me, I am Ms. Min. I’m your homeroom and English teacher. I expect you to treat me with much respect.” Announced the large elderly woman with red framed glasses and half black to turning white hair to her twenty five students before her.

Haru herself just happened to be in the class, as well as Kris, Xiumin, and Lay. Haru only interested in the little scribble in her note book, a picture of her ridding a unicorn while it spits rainbows at Kris. Kris cowering on the ground while she draws a gun that happened to shoot pop tarts at him.

St. Oxford Academy started today for the young meisters, with exception of the seniors since they already started a month ago. The weekend flew by fast as well, but to Haru’s misfortune. Chen forgot to DVR Walking Dead, but luckily Luhan told her they had On Demand. She spent her Sunday watching catchup shows downstairs in the living room, snuggled in comfty PJ’s and Sehun’s totoro gift, the boys tried to annoy her whenever they got the chance too, thankfully, the glares she sent them were all to terrifying. D.O and Baekhyun happened to be only two who didn’t annoy her, joining her in the new TV shows they haven’t seen before.

Sunggyu precisely told the meisters to behave and not get into any trouble. For Haru, he asked her to leave her sword with him for safe keeping. Every day she was to drop it off to him and every day after school, she was to pick it up. Haru was skeptical at first, but decided it was for the best since she couldn’t bring it with her everywhere. The boys happened to lay off the suspicions of her sword and the whole holy water incident. "Curiosity is one of the great secrets of happiness." That’s how Kai explained it, the others didn’t really want to get into what he meant since he was already known for being so deep on a level that it gets confusing.

Haru swore mentally at her schedule, she had every class with both Lay and Kris. Here and there with the other seniors, she happened to have gym with Kai, Baekhyun, and Sehun, and Home EC with Chanyeol. Haru would’ve choose an annoying Chanyeol, cocky Kai, or gangster, foul-mouthed  D.O over these two. It did help much either when she sat in-between the two. To her savior, Xiumin happened to be in front of her. Sending her cute notes here and there as well as giddy smiles. They just lightened her day from the two s she'd have to put up with for the next school year.

The other girls in the room couldn’t help but swoon over Xiumin, Kris, and Lay, especially the other new, god like younger students. They scowled at Haru every time Xiumin sent her a note or smiled at her, or when Kris happened to throw paper balls at her. Others sent glares at Haru period throughout the day, even though it was just 3rd period. When she walked in with seven handsome, new, drop dead gorgeous boys, they wanted then and there to set the poor girl on fire. Lay on the other hand just stared blankly through the window, head rested in palm. The girls didn’t care though, they just found him more dreamy.

“Jung Haru?” boomed the teacher, looking at her classroom roster. Haru looked up at the teacher, pausing her doodling when she was about to give Kris a mustache. “Yes?” she asked.

“Don’t get lazy with me, Ms. Jung.” The teacher snapped, Haru just blew her bangs out of her eyes,” My bad.”

“Can you come up here and do the problem? You seem capable enough with all that sass.” She squinted through her glasses at the girl.

*Sass?* mocked Kris, Xiumin, and Haru mentally,

*The trees are pretty looking today* thought Lay.

Haru sighed before planting her hands on her desk, sliding out and moving her way up to the front. To her dismay though someone stuck out there foot, dripping Haru head over heels in the process. The classroom howled in laughter. Lay looked over to the commotion, when he saw Haru on the ground; he couldn’t help but feel pity for her, but on the other hand, it wasn’t his place to do anything.

Kris was one of the spectators laughing. “Nice strawberry , Haru.” He laughed in-between fits.

Haru scowled, covering her shown underwear and looking up to whoever tripped her. The girl sat cross legged, smiling down at Haru while twirling her black hair strands in hand. “Oh, I’m sorry you didn’t see my foot there.” Her “apology” was all too fake for Haru’s liking.

“Are you okay?” asked Xiumin from afar, about to get out of his desk to help her, but Haru held out a hand. Helping herself up before he did so.

“I’m fine, Xiumin. Thanks.” Haru thanked him, but her eyes were focused on the girl who tripped her. Glaring holes through her head.

“I’m sure it was all an accident.” Laughed there teacher, holding herself on the desk while bursting into laughing fits here and there. “Wasn’t it, Krystal?”

The girl named,’ Krystal.’ Only nodded. “Yes, Ms. Min. She didn’t see my foot.” Krystal scoffed, flipping her hair once again.

*Lying .* Haru bit her inner cheek, telling herself the wasn’t worth anything at all. Xiumin gave her a thumbs up, seeing Haru’s self-restraint while he himself would’ve thrown her out the window. Kris looked at Haru as she walked up to the board, still snickering like a child. Lay happened to be in his own world, like usual.

“Solve it.” Ms. Min hissed, handing Haru the white board marker. Haru glanced at her teacher before taking the marker and uncapping it.

Ms. Min stood back and watched Haru solve the problem with crossed arms, she scoffed. *No way she can solve it. This girl’s been pissing me off the moment she stepped through my door. Just look at her, those ridiculous contacts and red hair. How the hell did she pass through without getting in trouble with the headmaster. No matter, I made sure this problem wasn’t solvable to someone of her capa-*

“Finished.” Haru stated, capping the marker and putting it onto the board holder. Ms. Nam snapped out of her thoughts, leaning in forward with a hand on her glasses, inspecting the work carefully.

“I-It’s all correct.” She said baffled.

“I happen to be really good in math.” Haru said blankly, returning back to her desk.

Xiumin high fived her while Kris scowled and scoffed. Krystal dug her nails into the desk, wanting to throw the thing at her, but restrained herself. The class awed at how fast Haru finished the impossible looking problem, giving her respect after the tripping underwear incident.

“Uh-Uhm yes, well, get out your books and turn to page 45.” Ms. Nam said, erasing the board while still baffled at Haru’s mathematics skills. Luckily too, Haru virtually at everything else that isn’t math and sports.

Haru took out her books like they were told, turning to the page. At the same time, Xiumin happened the throw her a note. She looked at him, he gave a sly smile over his shoulder. Haru half smiled back while opening the note.

“HARU-SENPAI KICKS ! HARU FOREVAAA <3 <3”

Haru couldn’t help but chuckle at the note. Xiumin grinned at her chuckle. Kris couldn’t help but fake to puke while seeing all of this.

It was finally lunch. Some of the meisters sat with each other, while others sat elsewhere. Chen, Luhan, and Suho had to eat at the student council room since they had preparations for an assembly that was happening the end of this week. Kris went to sit with his fencing buddies. As always, Tao and Lay were out of sight.

Haru sat by herself at the end of the lunch room in an empty table. Sandwich and strawberry milk in front of her, too focused in her food to notice a group of boys walking up to her.

“Why hellloooooo~” smiled Chanyeol, sliding into the table with her, deliberately bumping hips with her. Haru groaned, scooching away from the boy. Chanyeol moved closer.

“Geez, are you always this close and touchy?” She asked, eye brows knitted.

Chanyeol nudged her shoulder with his. “What’s wrong with close and touchy?”

“It’s suffocating.” She scoffed.

“Oh, Haru’s just mad her underwear showed today in class.” Chuckled Xiumin, sliding into the once empty table with the rest of the neglected boys.

Really?” Kai questioned with a mischievous grin. “I would’ve loved to see that.”

“They were plain strawberry .” Reflected Xiumin.

Kai shrugged,” Still hot.”

“Y’all erts.” Commented D.O, stabbing his lunch with his fork.

“Uhm, so, Haru.” Called Sehun across from her, smiling at the girl. Haru looked up, moving away from the cuddling Chanyeol. “You have a good day?”

“Other then having my underwear shown all over the place, my teacher already hates me, and I have a target marked on my head by the whole student body. Yeah, perfect.” She grumbled. Sehun chuckled at her sarcasm.

“Hey, school’s not over yet. There might be a miracle that’d turn your frown up side down.” Encouraged Baekhyun, patting her shoulder.

Haru shrugged it off,” Hopefully.”

“I have art next, any of you guys in it?” asked Xiumin, changing subject and slipping his schedule out from his back pocket.

“I do.” Said D.O, also looking at his schedule. Xiumin hollered and hifived the boy.

“You guys find any cuties, yet?” asked Chanyeol, eyebrows wiggling with that stupid smile and squinted eye of his. Haru rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, Im Yoona in my English Class. She’s a beauty.” Smiled Baekhyun, remembering when the girl asked to borrow a pencil with her god like smile.

“No, no, no, no.” bickered Kai, shaking his head. “Son Naeun, the sophomore in my computers. Fine is written all over her.”

“No, no, no, no, no.” disagreed D.O. “You gotta peep, Dara. Right back up in yo muthain . Biatch has tha grill of a angel.”

Xiumin dropped his fork,” You wanna do what in my ?”

“ dat , dude, da hoe dope naaahhhmean, biatch? I don’t like yo .” D.O smiled, as if what he said was natural.

“I think he meant to say she’s beautiful… but he has slang…” Sehun pointed out. The boys awed.

“Well,” Haru announced, slipping out of the table. “Imma go look at my other classes since I don’t want to hear you guys talk about who’s fine and who’s not.”

Sehun stood up,” I’ll come with you,”

Haru shook her head, grabbing her milk and sandwich scraps. “No, it’s fine. I prefer being alone.” They watched Haru leave the table and drop her trash off before slipping out of the room. Sehun sighed and sat back in his seat.

Kai patted his back with a smile,” She’s just a lone wolf, man. Just accept it.”

--

Haru tugged her backpack strap in one hand and her schedule in the other. Looking at the room numbers and mapping out her classes as she went.

St. Oxford seemed like one of those schools in a fairytale. Elegant, white from top to bottom, clean, and looking like a castle rather then a school.

“Room number 428… economics…” she mumbled, looking down a hallway, trying to find the class.

“Oh, Haru-channn!” called a voice from behind her. She stopped and turned around. A small light brown and curly hair boy called, jumping over the crowd so he’d get her attention. She tried to look for him on her tip toes, but she simply couldn’t see him. “Haru~” cooled the same voice as he squeezed through the crowd, popping right in front of her.

“Oh, Chen.” She greeted back.

The boy kindly smiled at her,” Where you headed? Shouldn’t you be eating lunch?”

“I was with the boys, but they kept talking about who’s the finer girl.” She mocked. “I’m just looking for economics.”

“Room 428?” Haru nodded. “Yeah, it’s down the hall to the right. It’s hard to miss.” He instructed. “I just finished preparations for the student council. I saw some red hair and thought it was you.”

Haru slightly grinned at his smile,” Well, thanks. I’ll be seeing you after school.”  Haru waved the boy off, Chen as well. Skipping down the hallways with a chipper whistle, leaving to go find the other boys.

Haru followed his instructions, going down to the very end of the hall and turning right and luckily, Chen’s instructions where correct. She marked down the class she happened to have with her pen in hand, finally done marking all her classes. The girl her heels, heading to gym since lunch was almost over, but just as she turned around. A group of girls passed by, pushing the girl and her books to the ground.

Haru beamed up at them, pissed for the second time today that she’d been pushed, literally, around. “What the hell is wrong with you?” she snapped, picking up the dropped books.

Us?” mocked the leader of the group of five girls. Popping there gums, flipping their hair back, gawking, and eye rolling, looking down at Haru. “What’s wrong with you? Watch where you’re going, freak.” With a sincere and laugh, the girls left.

Haru grumbled despicable things she’d do to the girls if she wasn’t a meister and was expected to be on tip top behavior. At her old school, Haru was somewhat popular. Everyone knew who she was and thought twice about messing with her, leaving the girl alone completely. As Haru preferred. Those frightening glances, her blood colored hair, and looks made her have an aura you didn’t really want to mess with. Now that she thinks about it, she’s been getting glares and having people mutter about her as she walks by. She heard it being about the boys, but she merely shook it off. Thinking it was nothing much.

“Are you okay?” asked a boy from above her, giving out a hand. She looked up from her fumbled books. He had a sincere and kind smile on his face, thinly rimmed glasses sitting on the bridge of his small nose, his dark brown hair just about over his eyes and his adorable baby like face. She’s known the meister boys for about a week now, not to mention the other boys at her old school. Having no feelings what so ever for them, but for some reason with a total stranger she just happened to meet had her heart racing.

“Y-Yeah.” She swore mentally at her stuttering, gladly taking his hand. He gently yanked her up, bending back over to grab the girl’s books and handing them to her. “Thank you.”

He grinned. “No problem. Hyuna and her little gang can be a hassle sometimes, sorry about that.”

“Please don’t apologize in their place, they don’t deserve it.” Haru said calmly, even though inside she was in rage because of them.

“You’re right, they don’t” he agreed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’m Youngjae. You?”

Usually, Haru would just walk away with a thanks since she didn’t like getting close to others, but with him. She couldn’t help but answer. “I’m Haru.”

He smiled, Haru’s heart went a flutter. “That’s a pretty name for a pretty girl.” She blushed at his words.

“I don’t think you should be flirting with a stranger you’ve just meet.” She chuckled.

Youngjae chuckled as well,” I wasn’t flirting, I was being honest. Honesty is the best policy, isn’t it?”

The two shared a slight laugh as the bell went off. Indicating lunch was over. “I’ll see you later, kay? Don’t forget about me~” he waved. Haru nodded, before he slipped away with the crowd.

“Oh~ She can laugh.” Mocked a voice from behind her. A hand on his hip and smirk planted on his well to handsome face, it was no other them Kris.

“I can. I have emotions unlike a certain I know.” She snapped, purposely bumping shoulders with him.

Kris clicked his tongue and shook his head, turning around and slowly walking after her. “I don’t think you should be such a with our next class together.”

“I’m not being a .” She mocked back. “I’m being assertive. There’s a difference.” Haru stopped, raising a brow at the boy. “What do you mean by that?”

“You’ll see.” He evilly grinned back.

And she did.

It turns out Kris was the gyms teachers number one student due to the fact he’s been there longer and his athletic skills. Skills and looks, he practically had the middle aged woman wrapped around his finger. With a simple pout of the lips and puppy eyes, he suggested they’d do basketball for the first day.

A 6 on 6 match, boys vs. girls.

Haru groaned at the thought as they stretched in preparation for the game. One; she was 5 feet 3 inches. Not the ideal high at all for basketball. Two; it was boy vs. girls. Not to be ist or anything, but boys usually do better at sports then girls do, not to mention all the girls on her team were about her size and seemed like those girls who’d much rather watch the boys then play themselves or think it’d be cute to over throw the game and let the boys win. Three; Krystal happened to be on her team, as well as some of the girls who tripped her earlier.

Haru was only good in just about every sport, but basketball. .

“Isn’t boys verse girls kinda unfair?” asked Sehun to the teacher, Kai happened to nod agreeing with the boy.

“They need to learn how to be independent and not need no man, Mr. Oh. Pick your line up and get the game on.” She snapped, lightly tossing the ball to Kris who caught the ball with a smile. The woman swooning over it.

“You go first, Haru.” Called out Krystal, hand on her hip.

Haru raised a brow as she tied her shoelace. “And why is that?” she asked.

“Because you seem to like getting dirty. I’m giving you the honor of going first.” She mocked.

Haru tightened a fist, resisting the urge to punch the girl smug in the face. A hand from behind her rested on Haru’s shoulder, thinking it was one of the boys, she left it, but a voice spoke up that didn’t belong to any them. “Shut it, Krystal. Go somewhere else.”

Haru looked up. The girl who spoke up for her was a shade tanner then her, but it was a charm. Her lips black, eyebrows arched, eyes done perfectly, dark long hair pulled into a tight high pony like Haru’s, and a gaze that seemed more killer then Haru’s. Krystal scoffed before heading to a group of girls who seemed to be glaring at the two.

“Are okay you, girlie?” she smiled, giving a hand to her.

Haru got up from the ground, taking her hand and grinned at her. “Yeah, thanks.”

“Good to know that I have at least one person backing up during this game… Are you?” she asked with a playful smirk.

Haru smirked as well,” Depends. How bad do you want to win?”

Win?” The girl let out a mocking laugh, swinging her hand. “Oh no, girlie. I play to destroy.” Haru left out an airy laugh, liking the girl’s spunk. “I’m Hyori.”

“Haru.”

“Well, Haru, I hope we can destroy the boys in this game.”

Haru slightly shook her head,” I hope I can be of assistance somehow. Not exactly the best basketball player.” She chuckled, pointing at her physique.

Hyori waved a hand off. “You happen to be looking at the basketball captain on the girls’ team. And who said you had to be skillful? You just have to be a good cheat.” She winked.

Haru grinned at the girls’ evil plan,” Oh, you’re frisky.”

“I know.”

Twenty minutes into the game and it was girls 10, boys 12. They were a shot up from them. As Hyori told, she happened to be a good cheater. She promised Haru that school wise she played honest and used her skills to play, but in street ball where she played for money. She happened to be such a good cheat that no one ever noticed. With provoking, tripping, fouls no one noticed, and Hyori yelling out slurs, the girls happened to catch up to the boys.

Kris was already drenched in sweat, as well as Kai and Sehun. The girls really gave them the run for their money, even if they were the only two playing.

“H-How are they so good?” panted Kai, whipping his sweat off his forehead as the teacher buzzed for half time.

“Haru and that one girl…” Sehun breathed out, exhausted; gathering in with his other team members.

“I picked basketball because she was so short, but damn she’s fast.” Kris groaned, gathering into the pile.

“No matter, we gotta win this.”

How?” asked a team member. “They’re creaming us.”

“Since Baekhyun isn’t here to help us…” he sent a dirty look at Baekhyun. Who made an excuse that his asthma was bad for basketball. Baekhyun simply waved back innocently. “And Lay doesn’t want to really do much…”

“I’m not a good sport, deal.” Replied Lay, arms crossed over his chest. Barely covered in any sweat.

Kris rolled his eyes and returned this glace to the boys. “Where going have to play dirty as well.”

“Dirty?” question Sehun, wiping his sweat off with his shirt off.

Kris eyed both Kai and Sehun. “How good are you two at using... it?” he asked in a hush tone, only they hearing

With the tone of Kris’s voice, it was obvious of what he was talking about. “I’m alright with mine…”

“Me to…” trailed Sehun. “But we’re supposed to not use it unless needed. I don’t want Dongwoo shooting us up....”

“What they don’t know won’t hurt them.” Grinned Kris evilly. Kai and Sehun couldn’t help but give a worry look at each other.

“Ready?” chuckled Hyori, pounding fists with Haru as they were called back on court for the final half.

“Fo sho, girl.” Haru smiled, whipping her sweat with her shirt.

The girls got the ball first due to the high touch, the ball in Haru’s hands as she dribbles past. She dribbles circles around the boys, since speed was the only advantage in the game. She was in the key, aiming to take a shot since none of the boys were by her. The ball made a clear path as she shot aiming for a three pointer, soring straight towards the basket, but a slight wind came out of nowhere. Blowing the ball off course.

“What!?” Haru questioned, baffled.

A boy from the opposite team stole rebound, throwing the ball clear down the court and into Kai’s hand. Getting a point for the team.

“Come on girls, shake it off!” Hyori encouraged, clapping her hands. Haru shook it off, running to their side of the court to defend. “Krystal! Please attempt to do at least something!”

Krystal scoffed from her position at the end of the court, out of the way from the game with the other girls who chose not to play. “And get dirty like you all? Ewwww, how about a no.” Hyori simply flipped her off before joining Haru.

The boys got the ball this time. On defense, Haru blocked Kris’s path from going anywhere. With a smirk, Kris past right by her with ease, as if he hovered around her. Scoring with a layover. “The hell…” she questioned. Kris passed her with a proud smirk, Sehun trailing behind him, looking a bit guilty.

Haru’s eyebrows knitted together. *Those s are using there powers.*

Haru chuckled at how desperate they were to win this, using their powers as a last resort. “Hyori!” Haru hollered to the girl, who jogged up next to her.

“Yeah?” She panted, sweat dripping from her head.

“We need to step it up a bit.”

Hyori flashed Haru a mischievous grin, Haru happily grinned back.

“Girls win! 40 to 22!” announced the PE teacher, both teams on the floor drenched in sweat. “Can’t believe you guys scored so much in a thirty minute game…”

Haru smiled at Hyori who lied exhausted besides her, Hyori happily bumping fists with the girl.

“That’s not fair! You never called them on any fouls!” protested a boy from the other team.

“Oh please, Hoon. Don’t be a sore loser. If you’d like, we can have a round two and have them whip your asses again.” Scorned the teacher. He bit back his tongue and sat back down with the tired boys.

“Good game, Haru.” Congrats Sehun, looking at her from his lying position. Haru didn’t have the strength to say something back, she simply gave a thumbs up.

Kris scowled at the two from his position, sitting up with a hand on his knee; trying to catch his breathe. *Goddamn it.* he swore, kicking the air.
