[Baekhyun] And so, Hansol’s wish was granted by the Gods. He was reincarnated as a wolf. With his will living in the body of an unborn cub, he will later encounter someone from the past. Meanwhile, EunHae; broken hearted for what had happened to Hansol, decided to went off to a far country. Sho Min Kyu tries to follow her and searched every land they pass by in search for her. But amidst his search, he fell in love with another woman and had forgotten about EunHae. EunHae; on the other hand, marries a foreigner from the country she went at and bore a beautiful daughter. EunHae may have established a family, but never did once she had forgotten about Choi Hansol and the love they once shared. She waits patiently… deep in her daughter’s will.

 

[Curtains open and the setting was that of a house with Cream sitting beside a table resting her chin on her palm]

 

[Cream; stands up]: Oh! I can’t stand this anymore! [Walks to the center stage; complaining] The life in this city is so annoying! I wanted to escape somehow!

[Luhan; enters the stage while holding a mug]: Such a complainer you are, my daughter! [Sips on his mug] It can’t be help though. Your mother and I decided to settle in here.

[Cream; sighs] Mother was lucky that she grew up in the province, [looks at Luhan] but what about me, appa?! Never!

[Luhan; sits on the chair beside the table; places the mug down] Well if you really want to go there badly, then fine. I can set a date so that we can visit her place.

[Cream; flipping her hair] I just don’t want to visit, appa. I want to stay there!

[Luhan] We’ll see about that, darling.

*LOW PIANO KEYS plays*

[A new scene begins, with Kris, Tao, Sehun and Xiumin on the stage wearing many furs and resembles a wolf]

[Sehun] Awooo~ the moon is so beautiful tonight!

[Kris] Awoo~ it is, dong saeng~ [stops howling and looks at Xiumin] what’s wrong, gege? You don’t seem to join us.

[Tao; looks at Kris] Oh don’t mind him, Rho. He’s been like that ever since.

[Sehun; to Tao] Why? Does he not like the moon, gege?

[Xiumin; walks towards them in on all fours] Yes, my dong saeng, [looks at the audience] I have hated the moon… ever since.

[Kris] But why, gege? The moon is so beautiful especially when-----

[Xiumin; stands up and bares his teeth] Gryaahh!

[Tao; stands up as well to stop Xiumin] That’s enough, Delta. [Looks at Kris; crouches back] Dong saeng, that’s too many questions.

[Xiumin] I’m going to take a walk,

[Tao] Be sure to be back before dawn, Delta.

[The three continues to howl as an intimidating music starts. Up in the platform, the lights focuses on Chen]

[Chen; clicks his tongue] So… this is the cry of those vandals who drove my father to death… [Looks around] I’ll get you someday; Alpha… and your brothers as well. You are the wolves who did nothing but to prey on human flesh…

*LIVELY MUSIC starts*

[Chen left the platform as Cream walks towards center stage with Luhan following her and carries a few bag]

[Luhan; put the bags down] Okay, now that we are here; first things first. You need to unpack your own luggage, dear. You should be thankful that the household is still loyal to this estate. If not, we don’t have anything to return to.

[Cream] They’re very devoted to the Lee Family, appa. [Looks at Luhan] By the way, you said it was here, right? Mother’s grave?

[Luhan; standing up] Yes it is here, but it lies deep in the forest.

[Cream] Well, would you let me see it this time? I’ve been asking where it is in the past years but you’ve never taken me there.

[Luhan; furrows his eyebrows] Sure…. I’ll just finish setting up here…

[The scene ends and the lights dim. A new music starts and Chen was shown up in the platform once again]

[Chen; looking for something] Those wolves are great at hiding… [Scratches his head and holds his gun] …It’ll take some time before I can avenge you, father.

*CELLPHONE RINGS*

[Chen; picks his phone] Yeoboseyo? Oh, Miyung. What’s up?

[Cream appears on the end of the stairs holding her phone close to her ear]

[Cream] Hey, Jungkook, I’m sorry if I disturbed you in your hunting. Do you have a little time to spare?

[Chen] Yes I have. What’s wrong? You seem to call out of the blue.

[Cream] Yeah, you see, I kind of feeling disappointed towards daddy. He seems to be hiding something from me.

[Chen] Well, how did you say that he was hiding something from you?

[Cream] Intuition

[Chen; chuckles] Then maybe it wasn’t real. Look, Miyung, you’re just thinking too much. If you trust your intuition, you should go ask your father directly.

[Cream] Okay. I’ll try that, Jungkook. Thanks. [Hangs up] I need some fresh air. I better take a walk.

[Chen hangs up and disappears on the other side of the platform and the lights focus on the stage]

[Xiumin; walking towards a small cave as the music plays] EunHae… It’s so nice to see you again… [Voice cracks a bit as he circles the bust of EunHae beside the cave] You’ve been crying again…

[Xiumin stands up; shoulders low as he stares at Cream] A human! What is she doing here?!

[Cream] Waah! A—A wolf..!! [Gets down on her knees; scared]

[Xiumin; looks at her] Maybe I can drive her away by doing this, [Bares his teeth]

[Cream runs away screaming up in the platform]

[Xiumin; sits back beside the bust] It’s a good thing that she left’ but, why don’t I feel so satisfied about it? I feel like I drove somebody I knew.

[The lights dim on Xiumin’s place and focuses on Kris, Sehun and Tao’s place on the left side of the stage. They were frolicking in the darkness]

[Tao] Get him, maknae, go!

[Sehun; jumps on Kris’ back] yahh! I got you!

[Kris; chuckles] You’re getting better at this, Sigma! Maybe we can let you hunt on your own next time~

[Sehun] Jinjja?! Awooo~ Thank you, my brothers!

*SCREAMS*

[Kris; startled] What is that?

[Sehun] It sounds like a human! [Stands up; shoulders low] It’s our dinner!

[The three runs up to the other side of the stage as Cream descends on the left stairs and walks slowly towards the center stage]

[Cream; screams in fright before fainting]

[Xiumin; creeps closer to Sehun] Don’t worry dong saeng. We still have a lot of rabbits to hunt down in this place.

[Tao] Let’s go and take care of her. She needs to hear our explanation later.

[All wolves carries Cream and exists the stage. The light then focuses on Luhan who was running towards the center stage from the opposite side]

[Luhan] That voice! It can’t be! [Shouts] Miyung!

[Chen; appears from the center stairs] Mr. Jang? Why on earth are you out in the forest late at night?

[Luhan] Jungkook! Oh thank goodness I’ve crossed paths with you! I need your help, boy. Miyung is missing.

[Chen; eyes widen] Miyung is missing?! H—How did that happen?!

[Luhan] I don’t know, Jungkook. But I knew she’s in danger.

[Chen] Let’s go and search for her.

[Luhan and Chen run to the left side of the stage as the light fades. A new scene starts, with Xiumin sitting beside Cream who was lying in a pile of bushes.]

[Cream; slowly waking up and sits up] W—Where am I?!

[Xiumin; walks towards her] Oh! Thank goodness, you’re awake!

[Cream] KYAAA~! A—A—A Wolf!!!

[Xiumin; holds her arm] Nonono~! Please, hear me out!

[Cream; still screaming and squirms around. Tao, Kris and Sehun appeared]

[Tao] Dong saeng, what’s happening!

[Xiumin] It’s okay! I got this. Oh come on now! Please listen to us! We won’t hurt you.

[Cream; looks at Xiumin and stops screaming] Promise…?

[Xiumin; nods; lets go of her arm] I apologize for scaring you last night. We didn’t mean to.

[Tao] Yeah. We’re sorry for what happened last night.

[Cream] I accept that but, [looks at Xiumin] you’re wolves, right? How can you talk like a human?

[Kris] We can only talk to humans with pure hearts. It was one of the Laws of Nature.

[Xiumin; curls to Cream’s side] My brother is right. You are one of the few that has a pure heart. My name is Delta and they are my brothers. [Looks at Tao, Kris and Sehun]

[Tao; crawls closer to Cream] It’s nice to meet you, young lady. I’m Alpha; the oldest of the brothers.

[Kris] I’m Rho; the third.

[Sehun; jumps on Kris’ back] And I’m Sigma! I am their maknae~! [Smiles cutely]

[Cream; smiles] You’re very cute, Sigma! [Pats Sehun’s head; looks at them] My name is Jang Miyung. I am really grateful that I’ve met you but, it’s been a long night. I am sure that my father is worried about me. I have to go home.

[Xiumin] Already? But, we’ve just started to know each other.

[Cream; crouches down to Xiumin to pat his head] I know that, Delta. But my father worries as much as your brothers would if you get lost. I have to go home.

[Xiumin] Okay… Let us lead you back to the road.

[All walks to the center stage; towards the shrine]

[Kris] This shrine will serve as a mark for you in case you get lost again. It was not far from the road so you’ll be okay from here.

[Cream] Thank you! But, aren’t you going to accompany me back to the entrance?

[Tao] I’m afraid we cannot do that, Miyung. We are guardians of this forest, so it’s impossible for us to go beyong this shrine.

[Cream] Its okay, I understand. I’ll remember this shrine so that I can visit you.

[Sehun; purrs] Jinjja?! That’s cool since our cave is only nearby!

[Baekhyun] And so, Miyung had made the pack of wolves her acquaintance, but little did she know that her mother’s grave was beside her at those times. Delta; however, couldn’t understand his feelings towards the young lady. Is there by any chance that she had seen her somewhere?

[The stage was filled with dancers swirling around as Baekhyun narrates the story. The lights all fade for a new narration]

[Baekhyun] Over the next few days, Miyung had visited the shrine; waiting for the wolves to come by. Her father was becoming worried about her recent disappearances, so he decided to ask Jungkook to accompany her daughter the next time she went out. But on that time, Miyung escapes Jungkook and went to the shrine alone. The wolves weren’t there so she decided to wait.

[The actors play those parts as Baekhyun narrates them. Cream now sits beside the bust; waiting for the wolves to come]

[Cream; looks at the shrine] It’s quite dirty, I say. I’m sure they won’t mind if I clean this up a bit. [Wipes the bottom of the bust] Huh? Lee… EunHae?! T—this is mother’s grave! [Wraps her arms around the bust; cries] Mother’s grave…. I’ve finally found it…

[Xiumin; appears from the center stairs] What did you said? Did you just said, “Your mother”?

[Cream] Oh, Delta! It is! This shrine was my mother’s grave! This is the one that I’m looking for!

[Xiumin; crawls down the stairs] So… she didn’t wait for me to come back?

[Cream] What are you saying, Delta? Do you know my mother?

[Xiumin] Yes. I am her soon-to-be husband… until that wanderer from the sea appears and killed me that very night!

[Cream; gasps] You were killed?

[Cream] Mother had waited, Delta.

[Cream] I knew… somehow. Father said that she met mother away from her homeland. They’ve only arrived in the nearby city to start again.

[Xiumin] But it doesn’t change the fact that she married another man aside me! [Cries]

[Cream; walks closer to Xiumin; places his hand to her chest] Listen, Delta. Listen to what my mother’s will has to say.

*Sei’s voice echoes*

[Xiumin] T—that’s… my name… [Looks at Cream] She’s crying out my name,

[Tao, Kris and Sehun came running towards Xiumin and Cream; bickering as they did. The light then focuses to Chen and Luhan who was at the platform]

[Chen; looks around] They’re very close!

[Luhan] Who?! Is it Miyung?

[Chen] Oh, it wasn’t Miyung. I’m talking about the wolves.

[Luhan] Please don’t tell me that those beasts have my daughter!

[Chen; locks his gun] Don’t worry, sir. I’ll end their lives if they did. [Looks around] Look! There she is!

[Luhan and Chen go down to the center stairs with Chen firing in the air]

[Chen] Get away from her, beasts!

[Tao, Sehun, Kris, Xiumin; snarls]

[Cream] Jungkook! Father! [Stops them from firing] They mean no harm! Let them go!

*GROWL starts*

[Tao; stands up] What do you want from us, human?! Are you here to destroy yet again this forest that we dwell in?!

[Chen; sweeps his hand in the air] They’ve done the most gruesome thing to my father! Yes… my father; Sho Min Kyu was killed by these beasts as he spends his time in the forest. With that, it’s enough reason to avenge him by his son! [Fires the gun at Tao]

[Tao collapses on the ground while Sehun grieves for him. Kris jumps on Chen’s back and tries to get the gun off of him. But sadly, Kris was shot as well.]

[Xiumin] Stop this insanity already! [Cries] Gege! My dong saeng! [Runs towards Chen; leaving Cream behind]

[Cream] Wait! Hansol!

[Luhan; quickly goes to Cream] Darling! I’m so glad that you’re okay!

[Cream] But father! Jungkook had misunderstood everything! That wolf is Choi Hansol’s reincarnation!

[Luhan] Hansol?! [Looks at the two men fighting]

[Xiumin] If it weren’t for your father’s selfishness, I wouldn’t have to go under these circumstances! EunHae and I would be happy!

[Chen] It’s your fault for being careless! Father would never lose to anyone! Never! [Pushes Xiumin away and points his gun to him; smirks] This is the end for you again.

[Cream] Hansol!! [Runs towards Xiumin to block the gunshot]

[Xiumin; catches Cream’s body] E—EunHae!!!! [Fall down on the ground and grieves]

[Chen; shakes and drops his gun] M—Miyung! No! It can’t be!

[Xiumin; places Cream’s body gently on the ground and grabs Chen by the collar] LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME STRAIGHT TO THE EYE! LOOK AT THE TERROR YOUR FATHER HAS BROUGHT UPON US! UPON ME!!!

[Up in the platform, Kai is shown assassinating Xiumin accompanied by a melancholic music. Sei was shown next crying in grief]

[Chen; cries] W—Why?! Why does my father have to engage himself in this for a woman?! He is unforgivable!

*SILENCE*

*EL DORADO plays*

[All characters pause as EL DORADO plays again. Each rose up, eyes staring at nowhere except for Xiumin who places Cream on his arms]

[Xiumin] How cruel you are, my kismet! Why do you take her away when I’ve already found her?! WHY?! [Cries]

[The light focuses on them]

[Xiumin; looks up] Huh? Bright full moon… why do you seem to shine more brightly than before? Why do you take off the clouds that hide you once in the sky?

[Smoke then filled the stage]

[Xiumin; looks at Cream’s body] Wait! Please! Give me another second to bid goodbye [Leans down and kisses Cream’s lips]

[Xiumin] In the end… the moon who did not grieve for my death will be my love’s last refuge… [chuckles] How funny, [howls]

*VOICE* don’t worry Hansol. I’ll be with you… as the moon that lights up the dark night sky. I will be part of the moon that your brothers look up to.

[Xiumin; walks around] But they are gone as well! What’s left for me in this world?

[Tao] Are you sure about that, dong saeng?

[Xiumin; looks at Tao, Sehun and Kris] Brothers! You’re alive!

[Tao] Yes. And it’s all thanks to the moon spirit that guides us every night. She took pity on me.

*VOICE* all has been done. Jang Miyung is still alive. Her father will take her home.

[Luhan; approaches Xiumin] Hansol, I know that it’s hard to believe that you’ve been reincarnated but, over the past years that EunHae had lived with me, she still has a precious space for you in her heart. You’re very important to her.

[Xiumin and the other wolves crouch down and howl long. The curtain close as Baekhyun ended his narration]

 

The audience gave a standing ovation after their performance. Some shouted “Encore” and some complimented them. The Curtains open once again to reveal the actors on stage with the 12 boys dancing to EXO’s GROWL. After their dance, Xiumin went to Cream’s side and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

“Thanks, Cream,” he whispered.

“For what, Minseok?” Cream asks as she looks to the young lad in front of her.

“Thank you for bringing sunshine to this gardener’s field,” Xiumin replies with a chuckle as he points to himself.

Cream smiles at him and hugs him tight. She congratulated him for a job well done in a great performance.

“Oh wait,” Xiumin says as he grabs Cream’s arm. “There’s something that I wanted to give you,”

Xiumin brings out a red rose from his pocket and gives it to Cream.

“What is this for, Minseok?” Cream asks.

“Remember the time when you first met me?” Xiumin asks. “I was holding a rose but I’m not happy about it. So now, I’m giving one to you… maybe you’ll be happy when I say that I love you,”
