Description
Pie has always been negative about transferring to another school. In her first year, she was in a simple environment with simple people and simple life style; not until her parents decided to moved in to a town 60 miles away from the city. She had to adjust herself to the new town. It's quiet, everything seems to be not-so-normal, and the people seems to know each other. Surprisingly, people in her new school find her pretty awesome. Not just because she's a transferee, but because her neighbor Yam said she is quite different among all the other students studying there. Her skin like porcelain, red lips that always invites to be kiss, and the aura that always shows positivity. A lot of the girls were wishing to be like her, a lot of the boys wishes her to be his girl. Despite the popularity, she remained on the ground and kind. Yam, as her classmate and her first new friend in town, has been always supportive to her. She toured her around the town, introduce her to the community, and teach her as how to live in the new town. Pie has been so thankful for the warm welcome of the people to their family. There's only just one question in her mind that is still hunger for answer.. Yam nor the community folks couldn't provide her what she needed to know. The night school in the town.. The only night school she knows in her entire existence as a matter of fact, that has the rules of not to allow other people even the day students to visit the place. It looks like a huge mansion with an unbreakable huge gate and guards that looks like goons ready to attack if someone is brave enough to enter the perimeter. The night school is just 3 blocks away from their school, but it is covered with tall trees and other building bricks so even the tallest areas in the town couldn't see anything what's inside; which makes her more curious.. Then one night as she woke up 8 in the evening inside their library, adrenaline rush through her veins as she hurriedly ran to the stairs thinking her parents might be worrying about her whereabouts. Along the road she bumped in to a boy.. No, a girl.. a very beautiful girl that looks like a boy. She smiled at her. Geez.. I've never seen such a pretty smile like this before.. Pie thought.
"Are you lost miss?" Kim asked.
She shakes her head. "No, I'm in a hurry. I'm sorry I didn't see you coming. I didn't thought someone will still be here at this hour.."
Kim smiled. "Then why are you still here?"
She blushed. "I.. I fell asleep in the library.."
She giggles. "Go home now then. Your parents might be worried looking for you."
Pie nods. "T-Thanks. Goodnight."
Kim nods as she watched her passed by.
Pie was 5 steps away as curiousity sinks in through her mind. She looked back and didn't found anyone. Where is she? Why.. is she still here at this hour?
Kim smiled as she watched Pie hurriedly walks away from the area.. She jumped down from the tree as Pie was out of sight. Beautiful.. I wonder if she's afraid of vampires..
Foreword
"Pie!" Yam calls to get her attention
"Uh?"
"You're lost again. Something wrong? You've been day dreaming lately."
"I.. I'm sorry. What were you saying?"
"Forget it. Tell me, what has happened to you? A week ago your mom and dad dropped by the house thinking you were with me. Where were you that night?"
She sighs. "I fell asleep in the library. Nobody had the guts to wake me up so it was already dark when my senses push me to go home."
Yam giggles. "Geez. Were you studying that hard? What time did you come home?"
"Around 8 pm. I was reading some articles, didn't notice the time. I ran and walk as fast as I could when I realised I got stuck in there for hours. Even bumped into someone."
Yam raised her eyebrow. "Someone?"
She nods. "Yeah.. She's really pretty.. At first I thought she was a boy, but she was a girl. And she's really beautiful.. You should've seen her. I think she's not from here. I just saw that face for the first time. But it makes me wonder what she's been doing there at that late hour."
Yam pauses as she keep on talking. She stops. "Yam? What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Did you get her name?"
"Nope, I was in a hurry. I was walking away when I realised that I should have asked her too on what she's doing there, but when I turned back she's already gone. Might be in a hurry too right?" She giggles
Yam forced a smile. "You should not be staying near this area at night Pie. Its too dangerous."
"Dangerous?"
Yam chuckles. "Do you even wonder why our class always ends at 5 o'clock or earlier than that?"
She shook her head. "It's the school's policy."
"Yeah, and too keep the students safe from the night school students."
She widened her eyes. "Why is that?!"
Yam shrugs. "Im not really sure myself. But there's something creepy about that school and the entire community just can't spill it out. The secret is too protected."
"Geez.. She isn't bad. I mean, she smiled at me, and even told me to go home as my parents were worried. I dont think the creepy thing accusations were true."
Yam sighs. "Pie.. Trust me. The elders from here said its too dangerous. Let's just obey them. They know a lot."
"The creepy thing about them is their school, its a night class. And the policy that nobody's allowed to enter their mansion except for the night school students. I mean, have anyone seen any of the students from there? How will they make friends? Socialize?"
"Pie.. Just get over it. Don't push it. It's dangerous if they say it's dangerous."
