That night, Jiyeon dragged her feet back to her house. She felt totally useless. She can’t even change his mind to study! But she’s not the type to give up. She will do it until he agreed to change.

But that wasn’t the sole reason she was dragging her feet.

On top of that, she felt totally restless. Her whole body was aching and her breaths were short and fast.

She frowned when she felt hot filled through her whole body.

Without further ado, she took the painkillers out from her bag, took 2 of it, and went to bed.

She didn’t even bathe or neither did she do the housework. Luckily, she completed her homework previously.

The next day, she opened her eyes only when she felt the sunlight shining onto her face. She groaned and stood up, despite the aches on her body, and walked out of her room.

She could hear knockings faintly. There were also voices shouting for her. So she walked over to the door slowly, but before she could even reach the door, she fainted on the way to it, in the middle of her living room.

A boy was seen rushing over to her house and the neighbors made way for him. “Is Jiyeon inside?!”

One of the ladies replied him when she saw nobody answering, “We’re not sure. We knocked for hours but she didn’t even answer. We didn’t see her this morning so we thought we would come over to look for her.”

Chanyeol frowned, “Then there’s no spare key here?”

“No. She only has one key.” The same lady replied again.

“Where’s her window? Will she lock them?”

“We’re not sure.” The lady answered and ushered him around the house. “This is the window to her room.”

Chanyeol tried to open it and alas, it did. “She should lock it, seriously!” Putting that aside, he ran around the house and found her on the floor in the living room.

“JIYEON-AH!” Chanyeol rushed over to her side and cradled her in his arms, “JIYEON-AH!” He patted her cheek to wake her up but only to find it hot. “Oh God! You’re burning!” He gasped and carried her up. “I’ll get my friends over to get her to the hospital. In the meantime, can you help me change her?”

The ladies nodded their head. “Of course. She’s like our child.”

“Thank you.” Chanyeol whispered and placed her on her bed. “I’ll leave it to you then.” He left the room hurriedly and dialed for his friends.

In about half an hour or so, Suho rushed over in his car and they brought her to the nearest hospital in Daegu.

She was sent into the emergency and doctors ran in to treat her.

“She wasn’t that bad yesterday!” Chanyeol hissed
