As usual, Jiyeon woke up before sunrise. She felt a little more tired than before which was bad. That meant she will fall sick soon.

Jiyeon did a little stretching as usual and found out that her limbs were aching. “Ouuuuhhh…” She whimpered at that but still, forced herself to get out of bed.

She pulled open the curtains and sighed in relief when she saw that the sandy beach was wet and damp. “Thank goodness my clothes were inside.” She walked over to her living room and found out that her clothes were not dry. After sitting on the couch for a little while, she headed to the bathroom and prepared for school.

“Should bring painkillers along.”

She strolled to the kitchen to get some medicine and left the house. Now, she could feel that her steps were a little heavy.

“Jiyeon-ah! Did you eat well? I have some bimbap here, take it along with you!”

Jiyeon smiled and shook her head, “Omma! It’s alright, I don’t need to eat breakfast!”

“No can do!” The lady hissed sternly, “take it along and munch on the bus, you hear me? You looked so skinny!”

Jiyeon smiled blissfully and took the black plastic bag of bimbap over. “Thank you, omma!”

“Get going.” The lady beamed and pushed her off, “You wouldn’t want to be late again, right?”

“Yeah.” Jiyeon giggled and walked off, “Bye omma!”

After she walked a few steps, another lady stopped her by pushing a bottle of barley tea to her. “Drink it on the bus! And give one to my husband for me!”

Jiyeon laughed and took the two bottles of tea, “Thank you, omma~ I will give it to him~ Bye-bye!”

And finally, she reached her bus stop where the bus was already waiting for her. “Good morning, papa! Omma asked me to pass you this!”

The bus driver took the bottle with wide smile on his face.

“Aigoooo~ Papa Kim! Your jaws will hurt soon~”

The bus driver glared at her playfully, “This kid! Sit down properly, we’re going!”

“Yes yes yes~” Jiyeon giggled and sat down by the seat nearest to him. They chatted happily along the way just like every day else, and finally, he reached Daegu station.

“Do well today too, my dear.”

“I will, Papa Kim!” Jiyeon gave him a kiss on the cheek as usual, “I’ll be late than usual today. I have to tutor a student.”

“Our kid is that smart?” He teased before continuing, “Don’t worry, my dear. No matter how late, I will wait for you even if the last bus timing passed.”

Jiyeon giggled and waved happily, with her arms high in the air, “Bye, papa!”

She watched the bus drove off before walking to the school herself.

And the same old routine as usual: Chanyeol was waiting for her in front of the school building. “Princess!”
