------------------•••••----------------------

Jungkook happily lead me out the doors of the A Class and down a few hallways, double doors, and a few more halls. Man, I still couldn't get over how large the place was. There were numbers of grand hallways and large double doors leading to who knows where. Maids were tirelessly dusting and polishing statues, paintings, doorways, and table sets- as well as instantly bowing in our direction.

"So how'd you get here in one piece?" Jungkook asked, facing me. My hand was still in his, but instead of him practically dragging me like before, I caught up behind him and was now walking the same pace as him, taking the same strides as him.

"I had someone give me directions to the room." I quietly replied. Oddly enough, I couldn't really look him directly in the face.

"Was it that second year you were walking towards?" He asked once more. Jungkook then slowed his pace a bit, allowing us to walk side by side.

"Yu-Ra? Umm.. Yeah." I confessed. He somehow pulled all he puzzle pieces together.

"Good thing you made friends with her, she's our supervisor for the entire A Class so it's nice to know you're on her good side."

I smiled at him, only to notice how fast he looked away. It might have been my imagination, but I could've seen him turn red a little bit. Is he mad?

Jungkook coughed awkwardly and stammered, "So, uh, think you'll remember this area?"

I looked around, noticing that we had ended in an area that was basically a grand hall with doors on each side, holding a room in it. This place was more peaceful and calm than the other areas, I felt. The walls were painted a more calm tone of brown, and had gold accents as we walked, and there was also a plaque display of students holding awards of the same model. It appeared to be some kind of trophy that read 'Talent Show Winner' or 'Elite Group Most Talented'. Elite reminded me of what special status Yu-Ra and I had.

I then thought about Fluffy Head. Had he also been accepted into the Elite Group as I called it? A part of me hoped he was, but I shooed it away. I probably hoped he was in it because he was my balance board and school guide.

"I think so, I kind of like it better here," I answered, only to remember something else.

"But I uh, don't really remember how to get here from the classroom."

Jungkook let out a small chuckle to which he tried covering it with a cough. I couldn't help but turn red as he replied back, "Looks like I'm going to have to be your balance board, school guide, and your buddy partner."

Jungkook then looked at each door, examining it closely, only to stop at one that had a silver plate reading 'Jung Soo-In' on it.

He then pushed the door open, letting me enter first. It took me a second to actually step in the room, for it flabbergasted me- but not in a way like everything else in this school.

There was nothing in the room.

The walls were nothing but an old, dusty grey, and the floors were a dark brown wood with a lack of shine to them. The room was basically empty, except for the grand piano, violin, guitar, and music stand that seemed as though they'd cost a fortune just laying there on the floor.

'At least they had instruments to remind me of the luxury life.' I thought.

There was no life whatsoever to the room, all it felt was dull and boring. I then turned to Jungkook, only to see an exited look on his face.

What in the name of Bob....

"What are you excited about?" I questioned him. Why had they placed me in a dull and dusty room to learn music in? Wasn't this a special class?

"Look at this place!" Jungkook started.

"Of course I'm looking at this place, there's nothing here!" I answered back, confused to whatever he was excited about.

Fluffy Head just ran over to the piano and sat, closing his eyes and taking a breath. I stared at him, only to then have him face towards me and pat the extra space on the piano cushion, inviting me over.

'Oh well...' I said in my head.

I walked over and sat down, still staring at him. What is he thinking? He happily looked around and said, "You really don't know, huh?"

"Know what?" I questioned, crossing my arms with a huff.

Jungkook smiled brightly as he placed his hands on the piano keys and played a song.

Corpse Bride- Victor solo (Duet)

That was a piece that I had played with my music teacher at my junior high recital. It was a rather difficult piece, but I enjoyed the challenge as I pressed down on the keys and laughed with my music teacher every now and then. The music I had expressed with my teacher was rather complex and more mature for a middle school student, so I supposed information like that got me into the special old, dusty music room I now sat in.

I was surprised to see how well he played on the piano though. His movements were so natural, so lively, that I couldn't look away. Listening to his music was almost hypnotizing, if that was the best word to describe it. His eyes were still closed as he played the beautiful melody by memory, smiling at the fact that he could play so well without looking at the keys.

The music was so heavenly as he played, but I remembered something- the music piece involved two parts as I was accompanied by my teacher. I was confident that Jungkook could pull off the piece alone, but the music just seemed a bit incomplete.

Now noticing that there was a missing partner to the piece, I couldn't help but set my fingers on the key board, still hesitating to play the part.

'He could be mad.... If i interrupt him... But he's nice to me.....' I kept debating in my head whether or not to help him.

Breathing in and out slowly, I counted in my head...

One....

Two....

Three....

Play...

As I started playing the duet piece, Jungkook turned towards me, a bit surprised. I didn't share his gaze, since I felt something inside me flutter about.

"You're missing a partner in this piece," I explained over the sound of the piano clanking, still feeling his gaze upon me.

"It didn't sound complete without it."

Jungkook then nodded slowly, taking that in, and played along with me.

I couldn't help but notice the closeness between us. Shoulder to shoulder, side by side. The music was soft, subtle, and calming as we played. I laughed as he sarcastically plucked one key to another and just gave me a lopsided smile. The piano piece was the same it seemed, but the sound and feeling of the music was different while I was playing with Fluffy Head. As I played the last notes, I leaned over Jungkook, hoping he wouldn't mind me being on top of him to finish the song.

As we finished the song, I couldn't help but smile and give my applause towards Jungkook, which caught him off guard as he once again turned red and looked away. I giggled in response to his actions and spoke,"You played well. I didn't know the piece would turn out so good."

Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck and quietly replied back, "Thanks."

Looking away from the piano, I was again brought back to the dull and ugly room. If only the room weren't so big then I wouldn't have been so disappointed, since it just made the place more lonely.

"Why were you so excited about the place?" I asked once more.

Jungkook shrugged and replied back, "I've only heard about these rooms. Apparently they only give you a plain room and you have to create your own music setting. Music depends on your setting, mood, and effort, or so the teachers say."

I nodded slowly and looked around the room. Plain walls, plain floors. It reminded me of a painting canvas, before painting anything on it.

"So it's like a choose your own adventure room? Whether the walls are pink, or red. And if there are furniture or not?" I questioned. I heard Jungkook chuckle a bit, making me face him. He nodded yes and stood up, walking towards the black guitar across the room and picked it up. He then strummed a few chords, only to reveal how god awful they sounded.

Untuned.

Jungkook strummed a few more deadly chords and and looked up at me.

"Mind if I tune it?"

I quietly nodded yes and let him be. For a few minutes, the room was quiet, aside for the tuning of the guitar. Is he in the Elite group? He seemed awfully talented in music, so I had to ask him.

"Are you also an Elite student?" I asked, playing with my fingers.

Jungkook smiled and nodded yes as he finished up tuning the first two chords.

"I'm in for dance, so my room is just filled mirrors and large stereos."

As he finished the last few chords, he smiled ear to ear and signaled me to come over. Out of curtesy I got up from my seat and walked towards him, taking the guitar into my hands.

"Thanks." I replied as I looked at the beautiful instrument. It was smooth and polished enough that I could see my own reflection in it, and had a gold lining around the body and black oval shaped turning pegs.

"You play all these instruments?" Jungkook asked, pointing at the instrument collection I had received from the school. I smiled proudly and nodded yes.

I could almost visualize every detail about my music lessons from a child to a teenager. Ever since I held my first violin, or guitar, or plucked my first note on a piano, I had been glued to it ever since; learning 24/7 and falling asleep on top of the musical instrument itself.

Strumming a few strings to insure the correct sounds, I teasingly looked at Jungkook and stated, "A-."

"What? They sound perfect don't they?" He retorted.

"The G string is a teensy bit flat, but A- for effort." I smirked, which left him flabbergasted, running his fingers threw his wavy hair.

Once he accepted his final grade (still looking a bit lost), I set the guitar on a stand and walked around the room, examining its potential for decorating, and also examining Jungkook since he'd been so sincere towards me since the bus ride. Once and a while when I'd lingered at him for a few seconds more, Jungkook would look in my direction, making me quickly turn away, focusing on the walls once more.

***Ding Ding Dang

The lunch time bell.

*** Jungkook walked me towards the lunchroom, considering the fact that I didn't know my way around at all. Thankfully, I was able to remember the directions. The cafeteria was on the first floor, and was filled with hungry students lining up against stands and gracefully carrying their sweet buns and drinks. The cafeteria looked like a grand diner from those castles in fairy tale and the female students walked as if wearing gowns. Numbers of waiters and waitresses walked around carrying plates filled with extravagant side dishes and such while bust boys cleaned tables.

"Think you can make it on your own?" Jungkook asked, searching for his group of friends I assumed.

I almost wanted to grab his shirt and ask him to stay with me, but I just shifted my hand and nodded yes. Jungkook looked at me closely and patted my head.

"Okay, don't fall when I'm not there and get into trouble, alright?"

I blushed at his comment and looked away, only to here his foot steps become distant more and more.

"Hey, first year."

My attention was turned to three second years wearing the same ponytails as each other.

'The girls from the ceremony.' I concluded.

"Oh. Yes?" I replied back, only to cringe at their appearances. Their skirts were up to their thighs and the first three collar buttons from their undershirt were popped open, making their undershirts highly revealing. Not to mention I noticed they received lots of stares from male students as they approached me. I quickly looked away, only to then bring my attention back to the brown haired girl in the middle as she asked,

"You are the one from the ceremony, right?"

I nodded yes.

"And I hear you're an Elite student." Said the blonde.

Once again, I nodded yes. How did they get that information?

"Pretty, talented, and popular. And she did it on her first day of school." The black haired girl commented.

I just stared at them in confusion.

"Popular? What do you mean?"

"You know, people talk about you a lot. So you're a big deal." The blonde replied.

"Why am I a big deal?" I questioned once more, still confused.

Now it was their turn to stare at me.

"You're from Cali, an Elite student, and plus you're cute. Of course you're popular among the school." The blonde clarified.

What?

I calmly smiled and gave them a bow.

"Thank you, but I think you've heard wrong. I just got here, so there's no way-"

"Of course there's no way you could've gotten so popular, without the hype from being an Elite student of course." the brunette snapped. One of the girls looked at her nervously and quickly added, "We think you would be a nice edition to our group."

"Nice edition to the group?"

The girls rolled their eyes in frustration.

"Of course, since you're like us, catching the attention of everyone around." The black haired girl noted.

I then looked around, finding that everyone wasn't staring at the girls, but at me, eagerly waiting for my reply or my reactions. Some students even stopped what they were doing and listened in on our conversation, making me look down at the floor.

"What do you think?" The brunette questioned, looking a bit irritated. I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll suit your tastes personality wise, so no..."

At the corner of my eye I spotted a girl waving towards me, trying to get me to come towards her.

Yu-Ra.

I bowed towards all three of the girls, not failing to notice the disdain in their eyes, and hurried off to Yu-Ra, only to get caught by the arm. Looking up, I noticed brown side swept hair.

"Yoon Yesung!" I gasped, trying get out of his grasp. Yesung effortlessly held onto me even tighter with a smirk, replying with, "Cali girl."

"I-I'm just trying to get to my friend." I started, still struggling to get free. He chuckled and let me go, making me stumble back a few steps.

"Is it your school guide?"

"No."

Yesung looked a bit relieved, and walked towards me.

As Yesung stepped forward, I stepped backwards. He gave me some uncomfortable vibes beforehand in class, so I didn't really want to repeat it again.

"Listen," he started, "sorry about before in class."

I put up my hands, silencing him.

"It's okay, I've met guys like you."

"What do you mean, 'guys like me'?" He asked with an unreadable expression.

"Well... Guys that like a lot of girls and.... B-break school dress code..." I mumbled quietly. Sadly enough, Yesung could hear it. He hoarsely laughed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Guys that like a lot of girls? That's your first impression of me?"

"Well, since you walked up to another pair of girls afterwards..."

Yesung walked towards me once more, making me stumbled backwards again. Right then, I heard three female voices,

"Let's go convince her."

"Why?"

"She's getting a lot of attention."

Those second years.

I smiled at Yesung softly, and said aloud, "I gotta go."

As I moved away from his second attempt to grab me, I heard the fairly close voices of the three girls.

"Hey-" one girl started, but I was in a hurry. One of the girls were close enough to grab me as well, but I was trained too well in PE back in California, that I quickly dodge out of the way. Out of respect, I gave a small now before running away.

One part of me wanted to stop and buy lunch, but my whole conscience told me to run.

And so I did.
