Storming his brain for ideas on how to decline his mother’s invitation (more like command) of coming to dinner with his now soon-to-be boyfriend, Kris didn’t noticed Tao entering the room and smiling softly at him. Seeing that his mother wouldn’t stop chattering and recounting recipes after recipes, he decides to tell her the truth and hopefully close because damn that woman can talk a mile per minute.

      “Ma, listen to me for a second please,” Kris said.
