During their walk home Luhan told Sooyoung everything, of how the popular kids were cool with him joining them, how they joked around, and how cool each person was. Luhan looked at Sooyoung, she had on the same displeased face that she’d given to him since they were young.

“What?” Luhan asked.

“Nothing…” Sooyoung pouted.

“I know it’s not ‘nothing’. What is it?” Luhan said as he grabbed Sooyoung’s wrist keeping her from walking away.

Sooyoung heart skipped a beat, “I-it’s just…  Lulu, are you going to continue to hang with them?”

“Well, yeah, they’re the only friends that I’ve made since I entered high school,” Luhan said as if it was an obvious answer. They reached their house, “Well, see you tomorrow, Soo,” Luhan said as he walked into his front door.

“But I’m your friend…” Sooyoung said softly as the door closed.
