I collapsed on my bed when I arrived in my unit.

I slowly closed my eyes but it opened again when I felt something under my pillow.

It’s a paper. I opened it and read the first sentence written on it.

“It looks familiar...” it took me minutes before I was able to remember that paper. I turned my head to my study table.

I sluggishly stood up and went to it.

I compared the two papers.

Same words were written on the first paragraph and then there’s a continuation on the new paper.

Pheonyms - creatures that are assigned to a certain person, they were tasked to make that certain person feel complete with the 'love' that they can give. They don't have any idea about their creation or everything about their selves except their own names. It is their responsibility to be 'showy' to their partners, like acting cute, manly or the likes.

But if that certain person develops a feeling called ‘love’ towards his or her Pheonym, the two will be separated from each other. The Pheonym will vanish and will live a new life. A life where he or she will lose his or her magical powers but will gain something that every Pheonym would want to have - A life as human. This is a stage where their love for each other is challenged.

If they are meant for each other, destiny will bring them back together.

I froze.

“I, love her? This is a joke.”

I then placed the papers to the study table and went back to my bed and closed my eyes again.

My hand searched for my blanket but I got something fluffy instead.

“What is this?” I mumbled as I opened my eyes.

“The bear...” I said, almost like a whisper.

The bear I got from a booth at the carnival for Ha Yi.

Right, I need to give a gift to her at the prom, this is my chance to give this to her.

I hugged the bear tightly and turned to face the wall.

I remembered how her hug felt like.

I remembered how her warmth made me feel better after years of living alone in this lonely unit.

How she helped me in achieving my only goal in life, my lifestyle, habits and the likes.

How she changed my life in general.

Do I really love her?

I placed my hand on my chest and focused my attention on how my heart beats.

Its rhythm is too different from what it used to be.

 Too different in fact.

I stood up once again and stared at her bottle.

I did that for an hour I guess before I tried to sleep again.

But I can’t.

I don’t know what’s happening to me anymore.

Well, I never had the chance to digest everything properly ever since she arrived into my life and this is the worst.

For the third time, I stood up, sat into my study table and tried to study my lessons.

But my thoughts are pretty occupied by Ha Yi.

Memories of her kept on running around my mind.

Study:X.

I went to the living room and the television.

This time, I felt warm hands wrapping around my arms.

I turned to my right and saw her.

My lips stretched for a smile.

Then I blinked.

That was just my hallucination.

I tried to drive my attention back to the show that I’m watching.

Still can’t focus.

Watch T.V.: X.

Eat?

I’m not hungry.

X.

What should I do?

I can’t sleep because Ha Yi won’t stop running around my mind.

I can’t do anything in this place because every part of this place reminds me of her.

I really should settle this thing with Ha Yi, to end this confusion.

I’ll do this, to bring happiness back into my life.
