My Honey Bunny Sweety Monkey

Before Yeonhee could point and laugh, her phone had decided to reverberate from her pocket once again. She glanced at Yoochun as she fished her cell phone out, waiting for his look of approval to detach herself from their ever wonderful conversation. His eyes followed down to where the tune was resounding from, which Yeonhee took as the 'look of approval'.

And so flipping the gleaming white beauty open, "Hello?"

"Where are you?" the voice on the other line attacked instantly.

Taking the time to slowly match the voice with a face, "...Jaejoong?"

"Of course it's me!"

"I'm in mall with Yoochun."

Jaejoong paused.
That sneaky little bastard! Just what game does he think he's playing with MY Yeonhee! Jaejoong fused inside his mind from the thoughts of his promiscuous bandmate with his childhood companion, together, alone, "I'll be there in ten." Jaejoong pledged, his tone seriously low.

"Alright, see you then!" the girl chirped as she closed her cell phone before squeezing it back into her pocket, completely unaware of Yoochun's hidden intentions. Or at least the intentions that Jaejoong had drawn conclusions with.

All the while, Yoochun was listening in, catching onto their conversation at the mere sound of his name. "What did he say?" he questioned curiously.

"Sadly, he'll be here to pick me up in ten minutes. Pity, really, since I was beginning to enjoy myself." she smirked.

"I hint sarcasm in your tone, and for that, I feel quite cut." he joked.

That gorgeous smile was beaming from him again, and Yeonhee couldn't help but catch onto it. It was so contagious, so... beautiful. "Thank you." she whispered

It was meek, but audible enough for that singular word to drift into Yoochun's ears. "What for?"

"For today."

Returning the solemn expression from the woman across, "It's cool." he smiled

Yeonhee watched as the world out her window slowly moved backwards, cars and buildings glistening from the orange glow from the horizon, bustling figures scurrying past. Seoul at dusk. And as she immersed herself in its beauty, she thought back to the events of the day, from the embarrassing display of Hamtaro to Yoochun, to when Jaejoong burst through the door of the mall slightly puffed from the run from his car. And it was quite amusing really, to catch the suspicious glare he pierced at Yoochun before striding away with Yeonhee's wrist caged inside his grip. And she was in the car now, uncomfortably stirring in its silence. Jaejoong didn't seem to be talking, and his expression seemed rather pensive, his eyes locked ahead, just driving.

She needed to know what was bothering him. She needed to break the silence.

"He's got quite the charm." she mused, eyeing if Jaejoong even bothered to shift his attention to her words.

No response.

"And he's FUDGING HOT, like HELLO!!!" she laughed, before adding "Unlike a certain Mr. Grumpy who seems to be sitting next to me..."

A shift of eyes to Yeonhee and an amused grunt. At least he was smiling now.

"Yoochun's a -man. Who only wants to get in your pants." he spilled. As simply as that. "Besides, I'm better looking." he added with a straight face, holding back the chuckle that was bubbling in his throat.

Yeonhee couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Did you just call him a ' -man'?!" she managed to spit in between giggles. "Dude, isn't he your friend?"

"Yes."

"So..."

"So stay away from him."

"But, don't you trust him?"

"Haha, with you, no."

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" she cried, attacking his waist with quick sharp prods of her finger.

And he responded with a squirm and a giggle. "Hey, I'm driving!" he warned, attacking her back with a free hand, writhing his fingers against the indent of her waist as she slapped them away until they drowned themselves in a giggle fit, both being deadly ticklish from eachother's prying fingers.

But, alas, Jaejoong's masterful control of his his car eventually brought them to their destination, safe and sound.

Jaejoong's parents' home was cozy. It was slick and modern, yet it preserved the cozy atmosphere of a warm, one-storey cottage, adorned with every little piece of decoration that screamed out 'The Kim House'. Stepping into his parents' home was a little overwhelming, even for himself. He had spent half of his teenage years in this house, but as soon as he became legal, he decided to move out into his own apartment, visiting his parents every now and then, but it was usually them who visited him. It was just easier for Jaejoong this way. Living on his own gave him more freedom as an adult, and because it was close to the city, it was also close to his work.

Yeonhee wandered around, familiarizing herself with all the framed photos that plastered themselves across the cream walls, and the tiny snapshots neatly sitting on shelves and side tables amongst little ceramic ornaments. Mr. and Mrs. Kim and their 7 daughter and only boy, Jaejoong, occupied all those photos. But there, in the corner sat a group shot of his family with the Lee's. They're huddled together, wrapped inside winter garments. The adults are smiling at the camera, their little ones throwing snow at each other.

Adjacent to it stood a smaller photo, bordered inside a white frame with yellow stars scattered across its pale surface. Instantly, Yeonhee recognized its setting and she felt herself pulled back in time as the story behind the photo unfolded within her mind. They're at the airport, a ball of white fur cupped inside her hands, Hamtaro. Jaejoong's by her side, grinning smugly to the camera as he sneaks two fingers behind Yeonhee's naive little head. But naive, she was not. So just before the flash of the camera, she had stuck two fingers up Jaejoong's nose. Such a priceless moment. Such a priceless photo. And it was the last one of them together.

The twenty year old chuckled to herself, her eyes welling up from the nostalgia. An arm slung itself across her shoulders and two fingers poked at her side again. Flinching to turn her head, she became faced with Jaejoong's killer dorky grin, that dorky grin he's had ever since birth. "Come, my minion! Dinner awaits us!" he remarked. And together, the both of them re-battled their tickle fest as they jumped and scurried about to the dining room.

Thirty minutes into the grand feast both of Jaejoong's parents had prepared for the Lee's, all  of them had conversed upon the subject of their occupations, which led to the subject of Jaejoong's sister's marriage. And naturally, it was the mothers that controlled the entire conversation.

"Our son wasn't able to attend Minyoung's wedding because of dbsk's tour, but it was a marvelous wedding!" squealed Mrs. Kim to her best friend.

"That's wonderful!" Mrs. Lee squealed back, before her smile retracted in shape as she glanced musingly at Yeonhee from across the rounded table. "I wonder when our own Princess decides to settle down." she added, ignoring the instant double pinning glares of her husband and daughter.

"Oh!" Mrs. Kim laughed, "We too, wonder when our Jaejoong decides to tie the knot with a nice girl. I can’t wait for a granchild" she exclaimed while discreetly eyeing Yeonhee with a warm smile. Her husband could only look at his gleeful wife placidly as he chewed on his rice.

"Does Jaejoong have anyone in mind?" Mrs. Lee questioned, drawing all attention to Jaejoong who only sunk into his chair, eyes shifting sheepishly from side to side.

"Ah... not.. really..." Jaejoong managed to politely reply, groping blindly for his glass of water.

"What about dear Yeonhee? Does Yeonhee have a boyfriend?" Mrs. Kim, this time.

Yeonhee could only laugh nervously as her entire mouth was stuffed with rice, pieces of kimchi and dripping with sauce. She made a panicked gesture with her hands to clearly indicate a "No."

And then the inevitable happened.

"Why don't we..." Mrs. Lee began.

"MARRY OUR CHILDREN!" both women squealed, as they shot up from their seats, ecstatic from the brilliance of their mutual suggestion.

At that instant, the entire table had been sprayed with water from Jaejoong's mouth, as a piece of kimchi had decided to wedged itself inside Yeonhee's throat. Yeonhee stood gagging for air from the tight strain within her gullet as she fumbled for the glinting bottle of wine from the middle of the table as she sculled its ruby liquid down her esophagus, its crimson fluid dripping down her chin, trailing further down the pale of her neck, and soaking itself into the black of her shirt.

Finally, the damn thing went down, and Yeonhee was in all the air she could, reviving back the life into her lungs. Everyone else stood stupefied above their seats, gaping at the fleeting scene, save for Jaejoong who had been amused by the red that streamed from Yeonhee's blood-red lips.

"Ma, I can't marry a vampire."

"AND I'M NOT MARRYING JAEJOONG!"
