My Honey Bunny Sweety Monkey

My Honey Bunny Sweety Monkey

After hanging up the phone of this 'date' she agreed to venture upon, Yeonhee tiptoed down her cream carpet stairs, careful not to catch the attention of her mother who had stationed herself infront of the television; but then realised there was no point as her mother was going to notice the absence of her presence sooner or later. "Mum, I'm going out for dinner with a friend. I'll be back soon!" she confessed hastily.

Yeonhee was only returned with a flicker of hands, a motion for her daughter to go right ahead. Mr. Lee hadn't come home from work yet, and Yeonhee felt negligent for having to leave her mother all alone in a such a large house accompanied only by the two maids that sat with the Mrs. in the living room, all being immersed by the melodramatic sap that oozed from the soap opera the three women were transfixed upon.

And so treading against her wooden floorboards and making her way outside into the still of the night, Yeonhee carefully closed the white door behind her, groping for her keys, phone and miniature swiss army knife beneath the depths of her khaki pants, ensuring that she had all her necessities on hand. Yeonhee was never really one to bring bags, so she always resorted to be clothed in something baggy with pockets. She didn't feel the need to re-dress for this little event, confident that Jaejoong wasn't going to take her out to anywhere ...grand. And because she was already geared up, she decided to wait outside her house for Jaejoong, in attempts to avoid him having to meet her mother, incase he'd be attacked by the gleeful woman.

Yeonhee lodged herself against the door of her sealed garage as she gazed up at the stars that twinkled peacefully amongst the darkness. There was something at the back of her memory that whispered mysteriously to her, something so hazed that she couldn't quite make out... but it had to do with the stars... it was something someone said to her, but she couldn't remember what... or who. Did Jaejoong ever mention anything about stars to her? He probably did... maybe when they were children. There were so many memories she shared with him, and he was never hesitant on sharing his many wise words and philosophies with her. Even as children, Jaejoong had a fascination for the greater depths of things, always compelled by the most simplest issues in life and delving into hidden meanings he deemed supposable to them. He'd share every single one of them with his buddy Yeonhee, who'd only blink at him, bemused by his words.

But sometimes she nodded in compliance with him, which always caused Jaejoong to laugh and pat her on the head. Yeonhee, who wasn't as naive as she seemed, would always be flustered by his patronizing action and punch him on the arm with her tiny fist. At first it hurt, but after a while Jaejoong had gotten used to it. He'd of course, never hit her back --oh no, he was far more sophisticated than that! Instead, he'd retaliate by flipping up her skirt then dashing away in hysterics.

Yeonhee laughed to herself from the recollection of why she never wore skirts these days, before noticing a silver Audii edging along the front of her driveway then halting abruptly. Slowly, a lanky figure emerged from the driver's seat, slicked underneath a dark gray blazer, large sunglasses draping down the collar of his crimson shirt, white belt hugging his faded denims at the hip, atop with killer smile. Yah! How many car do he had?! Didn’t he just walk me home with black Lexus! Well!! Sor-ry for dressing up... Yeonhee thought, considering that earlier at work, this figure's hair was flat down, clothes consisting of a simple white shirt and simple brown pants. And it was only natural for Yeonhee to gape at the way Jaejoong strode towards her in the utmost style --while she slouched against her garage, motionless, and feeling somewhat under-dressed.

Jaejoong stood before the silent Yeonhee, grinning smugly to himself. "Hey~" He chimed, jovial to the fact that he had come early expecting to traditionally knock against the lady's front door, only to be greeted by her outside, obviously awaiting his arrival. "Did you wait long?"

"Uh...not really, but... what's with the outfit?"

Suddenly feeling self-conscious, "Why... what's wrong with it? o_o;"

"Nothing." That's what's wrong with it, looks too sinfully good on you, you classy bastard! "I just... wasn't expecting you to come all dressed up and all..." she confessed, arms folded across her chest as if to hide the contrast of clothing between them as she forced a sheepish smile.

And I wasn't expecting you to NOT dress up -_- "Oh.. yeah, the place I was talking about is... well..." he started, noticing the black slippers that housed Yeonhee's feet, "....is... uhh......"

"Somewhat expensive and classy and I am totally under-dressed for it?" Yeonhee finished off his sentence with a smirk, one that beckoned the both of them to smile casually and laugh a little.

"Well... you know I don't mind waiting if you feel the need to change..." he mused, feeling a little more relaxed.

"Do we really have to go to this classy little restaurant of yours? Can't we just.. you know.. hang out somewhere... cheap?"

"Got any places in mind?"

Well to be honest, I feel like some chicken McNuggets *snort* "Uh...not...really..."

"You really don't wanna get changed and go to the 'classy' restaurant, do you?"

Yeonhee paused for a moment. "Yeah, I can't be bothered." she admitted with a dorky grin.

"Fair enough." he surrendered, "I know another place we could go to... that is, if you don't mind shimmering lights and a lake?"

Yeonhee's eyes widened at the thought of lights glistening off the reflection of water. She was naturally attracted to such things like a firefly to a bright lamp. "But..." she mused, "that sounds... classy?!"

Jaejoong could only laugh at being caught red-handed. "OK, you got me. That was the 'classy' restaurant I was referring to, but hey, it didn't hurt to try to give it another shot, ne?" he grinned bashfully to the side.

"Gosh, if you so desperately want to go there, then fine..." she teased, "I'll go get changed."

Feeling bad for giving Yeonhee the hassle, "Nah.. don't worry about it..." he smiled apologetically at her. He was sure they'd eventually find another place to eat out at. No biggie. But he really was looking forward to going to that lights-by-the-lake restaurant. It had been a while since he had a proper date with anyone, and he wanted to try it out with Yeonhee.

"No, it's OK." she assured, "Besides, do you really think I'd let you get away with looking better than me?" she goaded playfully.

"Alright then, bring on your best!" he challenged, a large smirk dangling his silver lip ring against the pink rim of his mouth. "I'll wait right here and ...stare at my car."

"Suit yourself..." Yeonhee laughed lightly, bouncing off the door of her garage and smiling to herself as she headed back towards her front door. He really does have quite the charm sometimes... she sighed.

Jaejoong couldn't be more content with Yeonhee's surrendering disposition, yet he was aware that Yeonhee was a strong-willed woman, and one that was going to be a challenge to pursue. Even if this get-together would a make up for the friendship, but he’s been thinking much when Yoochun urged him at the photoshoot. Something bothered him when Yoochun mentioned that he’ll woo her Yeonhee. Am I being an overprotective brother? Or it’s got something else to do than that??

She’s only  a childhood friend –there’s not any romantic feeling involving—but he couldn't help but to a little - - yes! Just a little attracted to the girl. There was nothing too spectacular about her in terms of appearance: she was tall, lean, healthy with a natural glow to her smooth milky complexion, graced with a nicely proportioned face, had long flowing hair ...but really didn't have much of curves, but …. Yeonhee was pretty in a simple sense, and he can’t help to be mesmerized by her sometimes, when she walk or talk sometimes see saw something different in her…something mature, may be she’s grown up afterall. And although Jaejoong had met countless girls that possessed some of Yeonhee's inner qualities, yet there were none that made him feel so... comfortable.

But Jaejoong couldn't help it, and after she said that she hate him the other day, he honestly couldn't stop thinking about Yeonhee. Surely, he hasn't fallen head over heels with her? No, of course not. He's only simply just ....attracted to her. That's all.

But as soon as he heard the door of Yeonhee's house unlock, out stepped the subject of his thoughts. Heels click-clacked against the tiled pavement as Jaejoong gawked at the woman who was making her way towards him, clearly baffled by the arrant transformation. Yeonhee had clothed herself in a fitting white denim jacket, red spaghetti-strap dress, atop with black handbag dangling off her shoulder. It was clear that she tried to match up to Jaejoong's style. But Jaejoong was only enthralled at how feminine Yeonhee suddenly looked, yet casually classy.

Noticing that Jaejoong was unusually quiet and that his eyes seemed to be studying her up and down, Yeonhee sniggered as she parted her now-glossed lips, "Yooouuu think I'm gooorrgggeeoouuss~ Yooouu want to daaattee me~" she chimed while dancing around him in a childish manner.

Jaejoong could only laugh at the monkey that pranced around him in the form of a woman. "Aaaand that's what we're ddoooiinngg~" he chimed back, sliding a gentle hand against the curve of Yeonhee's back, guiding her to the direction of his car.

Feeling awkward from the sudden contact, Yeonhee broke free and scurried ahead towards Jaejoong's silver Audii that gleamed under the moonlight. "Bloody hell, your new car is y."

"Just like its owner, right?"

Yeonhee couldn't help but laugh in secret compliance. Sadly, I agree... dork...
