I gasped he turned his gaze to me. I couldn’t believe it. I felt the color drain from my face and my breath quickened, those eyes. Bloody hell, they are not something you could easily forget. I ran upstairs in a clumsy rush, my flats squeaking against the marble. My cover was clearly blown as I heard him yell something from the bottom of the stairs. I just prayed he didn’t recognize me. I ran into the safety of my room slamming the door behind me.
