Chapter 10

Yes, Mr. Teacher

The second Min Ji got home, she dialed Woohyun's number.

“Hello? You're not still mad are you?”

“No, but why the hell did you not tell me?!” she yelled into the phone.

Woohyun sighed. “I saw how much you hated Mr. Nam, I just thought...”

“I'd hate you?”

“Yeah. Stupid, huh?”

Min Ji laid down on her bed still trying to process the information. “Not really.”

“Well look on the bright side, at least I know your mom will like me!”

“She likes Mr. Nam. I don't know if she'll like you.”

Woohyun pouted.

“So it was you that was tutoring me this whole time?” Min Ji asked.

“Yes.”

“You that was texting me in class?”

“Yes.”

“No wonder I never got in trouble.” she laughed. “I still don't get how I didn't notice.”

“I'm pretty different from my school look.”

“Very. Outside of school, you're hott. Mr. Nam is...yeah.”

Woohyun gave a low chuckle. Min Ji could feel butterflies.

“I have to go study or else my teacher will punish me.” Min Ji smirked.

Woohyun smiled.

“Want to come over and study?”

“Like a study date?”

“Yeah. I could be good motivation.”

“Oh really?” Min Ji raised an eyebrow.

“Really.”

“Alright. Be there in a few.”

As Min Ji ran down the stairs, she remembered something.

Hyun Woo...

She was not going to leave him home alone, and she was definitely not bringing him along. She was about to take her phone out to call Woohyun to come over instead but then Min Ji's mom came through the door.

“You're home early.”

“Yeah. Manager gave me the rest of the night off since I got to work a double shift tomorrow. Where are you going?”

“Friends place to study.”

“Friend? You made friends this year?”

“Yes. Is that hard to believe?” Min Ji asked, a little offended.

“Kinda. Do your laundry before you leave.”

Min Ji sighed and nodded. She took off her uniform and put on jeans and a simple t-shirt. She threw her uniform into the dirty clothes basket and threw the dirty clothes into the washer. She turned it on, grabbed her bag and left.

Min Ji arrived at Woohyun's apartment and knocked on the door.

The door shot open and Woohyun pulled Min Ji inside roughly and pinned her to the door.

“I missed you, beautiful.” he whispered and kissed her.

Min Ji smiled and kissed him back. “I missed you too.”

“Now go study.” he pushed her towards the living room.

She groaned but followed his orders any how.

“I see you cleaned up a bit since the last time I was here.”

Woohyun rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah...”

Min Ji sat on the couch with a history book in her lap, while Woohyun sat next to her wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

“I don't want to study alone.” she complained.

“Study.” he commanded.

“Ugh, you're worse than Mr. Nam.”

“What?!”

“Wait, you are Mr. Nam...”

“Yeah but I'm off duty.”

“You said you were good motivation!”

“Alright, fine. I'll help.”

They laid on their stomachs on the ground, facing each other.

“Let's start with math formulas.” Woohyun said.

“But we just had a test on that.”

“Just study them!”

“Is there going to be a pop quiz on formulas?”

“No.” he lied.

“Yes there is.”

“No there isn't.”

“You're a horrible liar.”

“And you're a horrible....”

“Horrible what?!” Min Ji challenged.

“....what's the quadratic formula?

“x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac all over 2a.” [a/n I think that's it...my brain has forgotten math. haha]

“Correct.” Woohyun leaned in and kissed her lips.

He pulled away quickly but Min Ji grabbed his collar to kiss him again. He put the book in front of his lips.

“Nuh uh. Not until you get another right.” He smirked.

“You're cruel.”

“What important factor happens in meiosis during Prophase 1?”

“The chromosomes split?”

“Nope.”

“Ah damn it!” Min Ji searched her brain for the answer.

“You know this.” Woohyun took a sip of his water and his lips.

Min Ji stopped thinking and tackled him.

“Whoa there.” Woohyun smiled as Min Ji rolled on top of him.

She leaned down and kissed him. She smiled at how cold his lips were. They felt good on her warm lips..

“Remember...in meiosis...it makes ual reproductive cells...” Woohyun said in between kisses.

Min Ji sat up, straddling his hips and bit her lip, thinking.

“Crossing over?”

Woohyun smiled and sat up, hugging her waist.

“Correct.”

“You are good motivation.”

“Told you.”

Woohyun tilted his head up to capture her lips into another breath taking kiss.

Min Ji's fingers went through his hair and traveled down to his shirt. Her hands roamed his stomach for awhile before going down to unbuckle his belt.

Then her phone rang.

She sighed and pulled it out from her pocket.

“Hello?”

“Min Ji-ah, are you done studying?” it was her mom.

“Uh, not quite.”

Woohyun was kissing her neck while she was talking, making it hard for her to concentrate on the conversation.

“Sorry, but can you come home? Hyun Woo won't sleep.”

“What's wrong?” Min Ji asked, concerned.

“I don't know. He said he wants to see you.”

“Arasso. I'll be there in a bit.”

“Okay. Thanks honey.”

“I have to go home.” Min Ji said and started to gather her things.

Woohyun made whining noises in protest.

“Sorry, Hyun Woo needs me.”

“Your brother?”

“Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow.” she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before running to the door to put on her shoes.

“Hey, wait! I can give you a ride.” but she was already out the door.

Woohyun sighed in frustration and stared down at the tent in his pants.

“ed by her bother. Go figure.” he whispered to himself and took off his shirt.

He walked into the bathroom to take a cold shower.

“Is he asleep?” her mom asked when Min Ji walked out of Hyun Woo's room.

“Yeah.”

“What did he want?”

“He just wanted me to read his favorite story and have me make the funny ogre noises I'm oh-so good at.”

“Oh. Well sorry I had to take time out of your studying time.”

“It's okay. Hyun Woo comes first. I'm going to go shower.”

“Alright. There's dinner in the microwave.”

Min Ji showered and ate dinner before going to bed.

Despite the shocking news she found out that day, she still went to bed with a smile on her face.

Min Ji woke up and got out of bed immediately. Now that she knew Mr. Nam was Woohyun, she had a good reason to go to school.

She looked around everywhere for her uniform.

Then she remembered she did the laundry yesterday.

“ ! I'm gonna be late!” she ran downstairs and saw that the laundry machine was empty.

“Mom! Where's my laundry?”

“I saw that you were tired yesterday so I put it in the dryer for you.”

“Oh thanks. Where's my uniform?”

“In the dryer.”

“Mom! You can't put my uniform in the dryer! It'll shrink!”

“Oh, really? I didn't know.”

“Crap!” she opened the dryer and took out her uniform. To her luck, the top wasn't that much smaller. She could still fit it without it being too tight. The problem was the skirt.

“Just wear it for today. I'll go pick up another one. I know a place that sells skirts for a cheap price.”

Min Ji sighed. “Okay.”

Min Ji gawked at her reflection. The skirt was supposed to be right above her knees, today it was to her mid-thigh.

“Oh my God. People are going to think I'm a .” she groaned while walking to school.

She walked into the classroom hoping no one would notice. To her luck, everyone didn't pay any attention to her except for Woohyun. Although he was a little cranky because of last night.

“Morning, Min Ji-sshi.”

“Morning, Mr. Nam.”

“Min Ji, is your skirt shorter today?” Min Woo asked.

Woohyun looked up and stared at her long, perfect legs. He gulped.

“My mom put it in the dryer instead of hanging it to dry.”

“Oh. I've done that before. My pants looked like underwear.”

Min Ji laughed.

Min Woo nudged her. “Hey, you're boy-teacher-friend is eying you.”

She looked up and winked at him

Woohyun just coughed and looked down.

Min Ji tilted her head.

What's his problem?

While the students were leaving for lunch, Min Ji couldn't find her lunch money.

“Come on Min Ji-ah!” Min Woo said from the door.

“I can't find my money! You go on ahead first!”

“Alright. I'll save you a spot in line.” he left.

Min Ji bent over to look in her bag one more time, giving Woohyun the perfect view of her .

Oh God...

He lifted his book to shield away the tempting view.

The frustrating from last night wasn't helping him either.

“Ah! Found it!” Min Ji ran out of the classroom to catch up to Min Woo.

While walking back from lunch, Min Ji could hear the other students talking about Mr. Nam.

“Doesn't he seem a lot more uptight today?”

“Yeah. He's never like that. He normally lets us do whatever.”

“Maybe his true colors are showing.”

Min Ji noticed it too. He seemed a lot meaner. Especially to Min Ji. He never scolded at her for such stupid things.

“Can't you hold your pencil right?”

“Check your posture.”

“Why do you keep getting these wrong?! They're the easiest problems!”

He even called on her to answer a problem that she didn't volunteer to answer. He never did that.

“Maybe he's having a bad day.” Min Woo guessed, while they sat in their seats.

“It's only 12:30.”

He shrugged.

All the students were dreading the second half of the day with him.

As he was getting the papers in order, Min Ji stared at him.

It looked like he had frown lines tattooed to his face.

Min Ji was definitely going to figure out why he was like this.

She raised her hand.

The students around her knew what she was like, so they shook their heads to stop her. Min Ji ignored them.

“What?” Woohyun asked.

“What's got your undies in a knot Mr. Nam?”

“Excuse me?”

“If you're not feeling well, you should just take the day off.”

“I'm feeling fine.”

“Not if you're acting like an .”

The students gasped. Some snickered. Min Ji could hear Sungyeol's obnoxious dolphin laugh.

“Detention.”

Min Ji gawked at him.

Seriously?!

“This doesn't look good.” Min Woo muttered.

Min Ji sulked the rest of the school day.

“Min Ji! Do your work. Do you want another detention?”

She rolled her eyes and started to do her work.

Once the very long day was over, the students practically ran out of the classroom.

“Okay, what the is your problem Woohyun?” Min Ji asked when the classroom was empty except for the two of them.

He didn't answer.

“Fine.” she started to leave.

“You have detention.” he said.

“I don't have .”

When Woohyun closed and locked the door, Min Ji knew something was up.

When he brought the curtain down and turned around to look at her with lustful eyes, she understood.
