The days seemed longer and Ruki was acting different he would disapper without a trace for days at a time and I found myself watching out my window every night for Ruki to return but he never did and my heart broke. What if he was dead? What if the hunters got him? Why am I not with him? I asked myself these questions over and over again but it never changed and Kai sensed my worry and he told that he would return but he never did. I packed my backpack and but on some black jeans, a black t-shirt, black hodie and my black hiking boots and once the guys were asleep I opened my window and jumped down to the ground and took off runinning into the night. i had to take down a bunch of animals in order to survive while I was trying to find my Ruki. I walked through the freshly fallen snow and I saw tracks and blood and the sent of the blood was human and my insicts kicked in and I found myself running following the trail and I came upon another sent and it was Ruki's sent and I sped up and I tackled him to the ground.

"Ruki! How could you just disapper like that?" I screamed

"Yuki?" He asked

"Your eyes, they are fully Ice blue." I replied

"Your point?" He asked

"I hate you right now." I said

"Why?" He asked

"Why? Its because your turning into a monster Ruki. You killed an innocent person, just human. How could you?" I replied

"I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it. it just happened." He said

"How could it just happen? Are you really going to put me through this? Are you going to make me live with a monster like you? Whose to say that Kai, Aoi, Uruha or Reita would do the same? I can't live with this any more Ruki, I'm done with this." I shouted walking away

"They won't do anything." He said grabbing my wrist and making me look at him

"Let me go Ruki. I don't want to see your face again. I'm done." I said pushing him away and taking the injured girl with me.

"Yuki?" He asked as I walked away from him

'Don't look back, keep walking.' I thought to myself. I kept walking until I reached the house and I went in through the back door and the guys were watching a movie and when they heard me they came to greet me and saw I had a hurt girl with me and Saga came and took her from me and placed her on the couch while I went to change out of my now bloody clothes. I came back down stairs in disstressed jeans and a tank top with a sweater.

"What happened?" Shou asked

"It was Ruki." I replied getting a bowl of warm water and a wash cloth with the first aid kit and I went to the girl

"Ruki, did this?" Kai asked

"Yeah, but the other injuries are from something or someone. But the bite mark on her neck tells me it was him because when I was there he was hovering over her and he looked at me fresh blood on his lips." I replied

"The sent of blood is to strong we should go outside while Yuki helps the girl." Reita said and they all left

I put the cloth in the water and started to clean the girls wounds and she woke up and saw me and she started to shake

"Y-Your just like him!" She said alarmed

"No, I'm not. I won't hurt you." I said

"Why are you helping me? I'm a hunter." She said

"Hunter or not, I'm going to help you." I said

"But you've killed hunters before?" She asked

"Yes, but that was because they were attacking my brother and the others." I replied

So we coutinued to talk while I cleaned the rest of her wounds and bandged them up. i called the guys back in and they intoduced them and I excused myself and headed upstairs to have my time alone. I began to remember a couple of night ago, that special moment between us and how I felt when I was close to him and how my heart beat like crazy. And I felt a silent tear run down my face and I pick up the picture of me and him and through it at my wall and it shattered into pieces and I broke down crying becuse of him and I could feel my heart break and I trashed my room and jumped out my window and ran away from the house through the forest and I felt someone following me but I kept running until I stopped and I didn't care at the moment wether I loved or died I was completely broken.

"Yuki?" Ruki asked

"R-Ruki?" I replied through sobs

"Why are you crying?" He asked coming toward me

"Stay away from me, Ruki." I replied backing up

"Forgive me, please?" He pleded

"How can I?" I asked

"Yuki, please forgive me. I'm sorry. i love you, I swear." He replied

"No, Ruki. Just leave me alone. I never want to see your face again." I said

He walked closer to me and I stepped back, I took off running tears stinging my eyes, I began to slow down. Then he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him. His sent was the sent of the woods the one sent that made my heart skip a beat but I couldn't let him change my mind about him, my worst fear had come to light and this was it he turned into the monster that haunted my nightmares but all the while in some ways I couldn't let him go but I knew it was better that I did let him go.

"Please Ruki, just let me go and we can go our seperate ways." I said

"You can't be serious, Yuki. Come on give me another chance." He pleaded

"I gave you a second chance and you blew it, no more chances. Have a good life and dont let me catch you near Asami or anyone else." I said then I pulled out of his grip and ran back to my home.

My mind was wreaked with thoughts of Ruki but I had to forget him....erase him from my memories. Tora on the other hand I had hidden feelings for him that he doesn't know about maybe it should be Tora I spend my life with? 'Go back to him. Go back to Ruki." I thought to my self but I was frozen how could I go back to him after the monster he became? I vowed to myself to forget Ruki.
