Erica POV

I looked out over the crashing waves board at my side, this week was going to be my last week in beautiful Miami. My dream was finally coming true! But I didn't want to leave my home but this is a once in a lifetime moment. I grabbed my board and ran into the water to surf for the last time. The waves were amazing and my ex was on the shore with another girl, I shouldn't care anymore but my heart broke even more. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and caught a wave in. I didn't want to hurt Matt but as I walked passed I hit him accidently with my board.

"Watch out!" He yelled

"Oh, sorry I didn't see you there." I said 

"Yeah right Erica." He said 

And I took a bottle of beer from his new girl "This girl can't drink Matt, she is underaged." I said drinking the beverage. "Look if you know what's good for you, you'll dump his sorry and find a real man." I said pouring the last of the drink on his head. Then headed home to follow my dream as I said good bye to the waves.
