He knocks on the door nervously, shifting from one foot to the other. 

He shouldn't be here, doing this, but he is. 

All he can do lately is remember what they had been and the thought that they are no longer hurts. 

He knows that the rest of the group is already broken and normally he cares more about the team than just himself, but just this once he can't.

He can't when all he remembers is them. 

Their smiles and laughs, the languid kisses, their whispered dreams and stories, the soft breath against his skin, their tears and sweat-

And finally, the door opens and he meets eyes with the other half of them, his other half.

He gathers his courage, tilting one corner of his mouth up in a half-smile, and finally speaks.

"Hey Duizhang. Mind a roommate?"
