He storms inside, grabbing the first bag he lays his hands on and throwing it on the bed. Clothes follow his rampage and he grumbles under his breath, his back still sore and hands still stinging. 

"Duizhang, calm down," Luhan - sweet, caring Luhan - requests, his voice careful and calm unlike his own inner hurricane. But how can he calm down? How can he bring himself to stay a d*mn second longer when all they do is-

His temper flares again and he shoves his clothes roughly into the bag, growing frustrated and even scraping his hand against the zipper in his haste.

"How do you expect me to stay calm," he finally grinds out. "When all they do is belittle us? Treat us like we're inexperienced and idiotic, bully us because they know we can't do anything back, harrass us because apparently all we're good for is eyecandy."

"But still," Luhan near-whispers, hands up as if to calm him and as if in surrender. "You're the leader. Please. Please. Don't leave us." 

He looks to Luhan, looking at those wide eyes and glistening tears. 

This is the man he loves more than life. He is willing to die for this man. God, he wants to marry this man. 

But he can't stay in this company. He can't marry Luhan in this company. He can't do anything in this company.

"Sorry," he finally whispers, one hand brushing against Luhan's face, his cheek, his lips. He presses his lips against Luhan's lightly in apology and lets go, leaving.

He does not turn back but he doubts that he will ever rid himself of the last expression he will see on Luhan's face - pure and utter destruction.

The door closes.
