9 Benefits of Moving in With Me

Shots!

Tiffany just finished pitching in her ideas to the big boss and was on her way back to her office when she was harshly pulled by Hyoyeon. Tiffany's preparing herself for a round of gossiping since Hyoyeon is quite known for that.

So when she was roughly pushed inside a somewhat empty conference room, she was surprised to see two familiar people arguing about something trivial.

"Does this look pink to you, Taeng? God! I asked you to do one thing! One thing, Taeng!"

"That is pink! It's a lighter shade of pink, Sica!"

"You screwed it up. I can't with you right now."

Tiffany deliberately cleared , making the two girls look in her direction.

"Tiff, you're here...already. You're early."

"I don't..." she looked back at the door and pointed to where Hyoyeon should've been standing. "I don't even know why I'm here, to be honest. I didn't know I was supposed to be here so, uh..."

Jessica started blushing and Taeyeon rolled her eyes at her best friend. This is what she calls a foolproof plan?

"I guess this is my cue to leave. Fany, please tell this idiot that this is a shade of pink."

"Will do, Taeng."

After Taeyeon went out the room, Tiffany checked back on Jessica. "Are you okay? I'm not sure what this is about. Mind telling me?"

Jessica in a harsh breath and fixed herself up. She ran her fingers through her hair and made sure her suit wasn't wrinkled. "Take a seat." She smiled at Tiffany and pulled out a swivel chair for her which the latter took.

Tiffany watched as her girlfriend scrambled to pull down the projector screen. Tiffany still finds it cute every time she sees the ever so confident Jessica Jung be flustered.

The two met each other as they tried getting in an already full elevator. For Jessica, it felt as if the time stood still and she didn't snap out of it 'til she heard a harsh, "I got here first. Get out." It shocked her to no end that the harsh statement came from the beauty that she'd been staring at for a not-so-healthy amount of time. Jessica ended up being late and got a fair amount of scolding from her superior but that didn't stop her from being intrigued and from thinking about the girl. Had it been another girl or one of her friends who told her the same thing and acted that way towards her, she would've given them a piece of her mind and a handful of swear words.

When she found out that they were indeed working in the same firm, she tried hard to know her more and to get her attention. Long story short, the two of them have been going out for two years now and they're simply inseperable.

"Do you need help with a presentation?" she asked since the girl has performed a couple of mock presentations in front of her.

"N-no, it's not that. I-it's about..."

"Jessica Jung stuttering. This is a sight to see. Can I record it?"

The girl pouted while Tiffany continued giggling at her odd actions.

"This is serious."

Tiffany calmed herself down and said, "Okay, okay. Now what is this all about?"

Her girlfriend switched on the projector and on the screen was a text in bold pink letters, "9 Benefits of Moving in With Jessica Jung."

"Wh--"

"Nine benefits of moving in with me. As you know, we've been dating for a couple of years now and--"

"Jessie, tell me you did not prepare a power point presentation of why I should move in with you."

"Technically, I didn't, Taeyeon did although I did provide all the things that are stated here."

"Why would--"

"I wanted to make an effort so just please listen."

Tiffany was still dazed but she nodded nonetheless.

"Where was I? Ah! So we've been dating for a couple of years and I think it's time for you to move in with me... or you know, I move in with you. Whichever you prefer. I'll make you choose because I care about what you think." She winked at Tiffany which made the latter chuckle and slam the ball of her hand to her forehead.

"Which brings me to my first point."

Jessica clicked a button and Tiffany read what's written on the next slide, so did Jessica.

"Benefit number one. I'm very considerate. Now, before you disagree let me just state why I included this even though I know somewhere out there, people who know me very well would punch me in the face and think that what I'm saying is pure horse crap."

Tiffany let her continue instead of voicing out her opinion about the matter.

"You've stayed at my place for the night and I've stayed at yours countless of times and I know that during those times, our argument was mostly about me having that dirty habit of leaving my clothes where I took them off. I know you're still upset about me just flinging my underwear on your favourite set of pink plates that your brother gor for you. To be fair, it wasn't my idea to do it in your dining area."

"Jessie, just get to the point please."

"My point is that out of all the people you could move in with--"

'What do you mean 'out of all the people I could move in with'? I'm only dating you."

"Tiff, I would love and appreciate it if you refrain from interrupting me. Please. Back to what I was saying, of all the people you could move in with. I'm confident that I'm the only one who would be considerate enough to not make a mess when I'm around you because I know you well enough that every fiber of your being hates that. I know you well enough to not do the things that would piss you off."

Before Tiffany could say anything, Jessica switched to the next slide and purposely cut off her girlfriend.

"Jess--"

"BENEFIT NUMBER TWO! I can't cook."

From outside the conference room Hyoyeon and Taeyeon could only shake their heads.

"How exactly is she supposed to convince Fany from moving in with her by saying that?''

"I honestly wanted to jump off of the building while i was making that power point presentation for her."

Tiffany who was listening attentively to the girl who's five words closer to making a fool out of herself couldn't help but think the same way.

"I bet you're thinking how the hell is that supposed to be a good thing." Jessica smirked like she had outsmarted everyone. "I know you're trying to learn how to cook, sweetie and I understand how passionate you are at it. I can't cook which means the kitchen is all yours and I promise that no matter how awful your dish is, I'd still eat it."

Tiffany was partially touched at what her girlfriend said but a part of her couldn't help but wonder, "So are you going to make me cook all the damn time?"

"Tiff, honey, you know I can't cook ," she sighed but grinned and showed the next slide, "which brings me to my next point. I know you're scared of bugs and other pests. My sister and I recently discovered that the atrocious food that I could cook could poison those goddamn crawlers. I may not be able to protect you if a flying cockroach lands on your head..."

Tiffany shivered at the thought.

"...because god knows how much I hate those things as well but at least we could get rid of them by my cooking."

Jessica smiled sweetly while Tiffany giggled. She was still not sure if her girlfriend's being serious about this. She then turned her attention to the screen once again and saw a cute colage of puppies, rabbits and kittens. She remembered how much she's bugged Jessica about getting a pet.

"Please don't get me wrong, TIff. I like puppies and other cute, furry beings too but it's just too much of a hassle to get a pet and take care of it especially when we're both working."

4. I can be your pet

Tiffany arched a brow and waited for Jessica's explanation.

"Let's face it. I'm pretty much a cat minus the self- and furball-coughing trait but that should be a good thing and I'm not afraid of baths. I can take a bath by myself but I'm not going to complain if you want to give me one." Another wink and Tiffany guffawed.

5. I wake up late

"Other people won't look at this as a positive thing but you really should, Tiff. You always complain how bad you look in the morning. Well, worry no more because even if you do look bad I wouldn't even see it because I'd still be in dreamland."

She saw her girlfriend's expression getting dark so she backpedalled a bit. "I doubt you really look bad though. I bet you're just being hard on yourself." She beamed and exclaimed, "I love you a lot."

6. I won't be bringing friends at home

"Most of my friends are your friends so you don't have to worry about not liking the friends that I bring to our place and the friends that I'm talking about," she scoffed, "I don't even want them in our place because they only cause mess."

Hyoyeon and Taeyeon took a deep breath and mustered up enough self-control to not burst trough the door and strangle Jessica.

7. Our phone bills won't be too high

Tiffany had to admit that out of the seven, this is by far the only thing that she could actually consider as a "benefit." Ever since they started dating, their phone bill has skyrocketed and she wouldn't admit it to Jessica but she knows she's the one to blame.

"You love calling me to say good night but it stretches for like an hour and I'm really not complaining. I love hearing your voice before I go to sleep but if you move in with me, we don't have to stick to just hearing each other's voices and I say that's hell of a lot better."

Then Tiffany remembered how the girl in front of her would sometimes fall asleep in the middle of their conversation and it was as if Jessica knew she was going to bring it up.

8. You'd know right away if I've already fallen asleep

Jessica smiled sheepishly. "I sometimes fall asleep while we're talking on the phone but not because I find it boring but because I'm tired from working and you know...but if you move in with me, there's more reason for me to stay awake and just listen to how your day went and stare at you, bask in your...ethereal beauty."

TIffany blushed and Jessica shook her head, remembering that she still had to finish this.

"I mean...you know what I mean, right?"

Tiffany nodded and motioned for her to continue.

"Last but not least." She grinned and pushed a button to show the next slide.

9. Lots and lots of

Their eyes grew seeing what was written on the screen and Jessica tried her best to cover it so Tiffany won't see but it was all in vain. She pressed another button and another slide appear.

LOL I'm kidding. It was too tempting -- Taeyeon

"I am so going to kill you later, Kim Taeyeon," she mumbled and pressed the button, hoping Taeyeon was done playing.

9. You could wake up seeing my face first thing in the morning. How awesome is that?

Tiffany was honestly hoping that the last "benefit" would actually be meaningful and not just another way of Jessica saying that she's pretty. Sometimes she thinks her girlfriend is too conceited for her own good. She was going to say something about it but Jessica beat her to it.

"And I could fall asleep every night and the last thing I see before I go to bed would be you."

Then Tiffany saw the smile that made her fall in love with Jessica in the first place. The charming smile where she doesn't show her odd set of teeth and where her eyes would curve in a way that was almost similar to hers.

"So Tiffany Hwang, will you please move in with me?"

Tiffany stood up and went closer to her girlfriend. "You took what I said seriously. You know I was just kidding, right?"

"Yeah but I thought it was a great idea so I went with it." Jessica held her by the waist and pecked her lips. "I need an answer, Ms. Hwang."

"I would love to move in with you, Ms. Jung. How could I say no when you've raised such good points?" Tiffany teased. "I particularly like the last one though."

"The one where you're the last person I see before I go to sleep?"

"Nope. The one where it said something about lots of ?" They both chuckled.

"Remind me to get my revenge on Taeyeon."

"Taeng, Sica's going to murder yo--Yah!" Hyoyeon looked to her side only to see Taeyeon running away as fast as possible.
