Minho ' s POV

She sat quietly in the car as I drove. I tried making conversation but she wouldn't answer me or even look at me. 

I sighed disappointed 

"I'm not the bad guy here Jiwon." I turned right and into a parking lot.

Once aging not even a word came out of her. She just continued to look out the window. 

"I just wanted to talk to you." I was seriously begining to get anoyed. All she had to do was acknowledge that I was there in the car with her.

She sifted in her seat and for half a second I thought YES finally she'll say something.

"Your blinker is still on." She uttered, barley even bothering to turn

I bit my lip trying to stop myself from saying anything stupid but honestly I was at my patients end.

"Everyone is looking for a way to get you out of this marraige. The least you good do is help out!" 

Ji WON'S face expression s softened

"But there's nothing. You think I haven't already racked my brain trying to find some miraculous way of this? Because I have. And I'm just tired of getting my hopes up and then having them crushed."  

She left me speachless. There was so much pain in her voice and in her eyes. We are way too young to be going through this. 

"We can find something. We have to keep trying." I paused to wait for her to interrupt but continued when she didn't "because of u marry Key, you aren't helping your family at all. You condemning them." 

Jiwon scoffed and turned to face me

"What on earth are you talking about?" She crossed her arms and glared at me

"That's why we're here. There's a few things you need to know." 

"And you thought this was the best place?" Jiwon looked out to the scenery in front of us.

Jiwon POV

He brought me to the lake. The same lake where we went to camp all those years ago. I recognized the tree, the playground and the water dam to the far left.

"It the perfect place." He smirked "it's quiet, not many people except grown ups with their kids. And there's a lake." 

I starred at him, wondering just what was going through his head. Why was he going through so much t ruble to get me out of this engagment. 

I sighed and unfolded my arms

"Fine then. Let's talk." I got out of the car and walked over to a small picnic table near the lake. I could hear Minho ' s footsteps behind me. 

We sat down and everything was quiet.

Minho cleared his throat

"So? You guys want to stop this marriage?" I ask bluntly

Minho glares at me

"Jiwon...if you get married to Key then your putting your families legacy at risk" His fist came down on the table

"What? I'm in this predicament because his family is willing to help mine!" 

"That's just a cover up story. I'm not sure what exactly is going on but Tiffany found a document-"

"Tiffany? You got Tiffany involved?" If it were possible, smoke would be comming out of my ears

"She wants to help. Thats all we want to do." 

"I don't need your help!" My arms flew up in the air

Minho shook his head dismissing what I just said

"She found a document that stated if you dad sighed his company over to Keys family it would automatically become theirs upon your marriage with Key! Do you get that?" 

My fists were clenched, my nails digging into my palm.

"So what? What am I supposed to do? If I don't marry him hell still pull out of the contract. Either way..." 

Minho reached out and placed his hand over mine

"That's why I looking for a way out of this. I won't let you get hurt by them" 

I felt the tears welling up amd I had to turn away.

"What about krystal? How is she doing?" I couldn't help but ask

"Same. She still hasn't remembered anything. She still thinks I'm her boyfriend"

I nodded

"Well then you shouldn't worry about me. Krystal needs you. You can't leave her now." I pulled my hand away

Minho looked at me in confusion

"What are you saying?" 

I took a deep breath

"I'm saying, you stay by Krystal. Take care of her. I can fix my own problems " having said that I stood up ready to leave

I had barely taken a few steps when he called out

"I can't do that Jiwon!" 

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to face him he was standing up next to the table

"I think... I think I love you." He shrugged

I starred at him, dumbfounded

I don't know what to say, I couldn't find any words in store in my vocabulary folder. 

"You shouldn't " it came out before I had a chance to regret it "you shouldny love me." I turned around and started walking again

"Why not?" He called out again

This time I didn't bother turning around 

"Because I'm an engaged woman." I said with a tear rolling down my check. I kept going straight until I hit the road and hailed a taxi. 

The worst part is that just a month ago I was a silly little girl who didn't want to accept my feeling for Minho. Yet here I was today, engaged and rejecting his confession.

Who ever said change was a good thing?
