Normally when school ends, I walk home with Tiffany. But she didn’t come today, and just my luck, it was starting to rain.

I tried to walk fast but the rain was falling harder, and I had no umbrella. Just when I was about to give up and call my mom, a red sports car stops in front of me.

“Jiwon!” I heard someone call my name; I later realized it was Key

“Oh, hey.” I said awkwardly

“Do you want a ride?”

“Um…” I really wanted to say no, but I would be pretty stupid if I walked home in this rain. “yeah, that would be really nice.”

“Get in” he called out.

His car looked nice on the outside but on the inside, it looked a mess. Books everywhere, gym clothes too.

“Sorry, I didn’t have a chance to clean it up”

“Oh, no its okay.” I said quickly

“so you excited for this weekend?” Key asked as he shot me a glance

“Oh, yeah.” I smiled

“Oh yeah?” he laughed “don’t worry were going to have fun.” He smiled

“Cool.” I answered “sounds cool” i tried not to sound too mean. Because if truth be told, I was not looking forward to this weekend at all.

After a few minutes of silent driving, we finally arrived at my house.

“See you at school.” Said Key

“Yeah” I smiled “thanks for the ride” I was about to get out when he held onto my arm

“Bye.” He leaned in.

I panicked, what is he doing!

He is WAY to close

His lips were heading towards mine… Oh no!

I turned my head just on time, so he ended up kissing my cheek

“Bye” I tried to smile, but I’m sure I just looked constipated

I rushed out of the car and into my house, where my lips were safe.

What was wrong with me? A few weeks ago I would have been so happy if Key had kissed me, but today, I felt scared and afraid.

I sighed

The next day at school, I felt like everyone was staring at me, everywhere I went, after every classroom, around every corner, there was a pair of eyes looking at me.

“What the heck is wrong with everyone?” I asked Tiffany as I reached my locker

She just looked at me and shook her head

“So, how was it?” I heard Minho, he walked up behind me

“How was what?” I asked confused

“Key is telling everyone that he kissed you last night.” Tiffany whispered

My jaw dropped

“I told you.” Minho said coldly

“He didn’t… I mean he tried, but I turned away.” I said quickly

“That’s not what he’s saying.” Tiffany looked annoyed

“Don’t you believe me?” I asked

“Oh I do.” She nodded “I just want to smack that jerk for you.”

“Why would he do that?” I asked

“Because he wanted to kiss you, and you rejected him.” Minho said bluntly

“I have to talk to him. Where is he?”

“In the patio” Tiffany pointed down the hall

“I’ll be right back” I slammed my locker and stomped down the hall and out the door.

It wasn’t hard to find him, he was the guy surrounded by a large group of people

“Key!” I called out “We need to talk.” I said firmly

“Give us a moment guys.” He said to the people around him

“So whats up?” he smiled

“Why are you saying that we kissed?” I demanded

“We did”

“No we didn’t!”

“Yeah, we did. I kissed you on the Cheek. A kiss is a kiss.” He smiled

“The way you say it makes it seem like it was a real kiss, a kiss on the lips.” I was getting annoyed

“Its fine, let people think I was your first kiss.” He smiled

“You know very well that you were not my first kiss, and so does everyone else.”

“Everyone else?”

“Everyone saw at Tiffany’s party! When Minho kissed me, so you better quit your .”

“Minho was your first kiss?” his voice seemed deeper and his eyes narrowed

I was actually afraid to answer him

“Was he!” he demanded

“And so what if I was!” I heard someone else answer

I turned around and saw Minho standing right behind me

I stood there between my used to be crush, Key, and Minho…
