Dear Yifan
Kris didn't mean to forget his life before moving. He didn't mean to almost erase his entire adolescence from his mind the moment he stepped foot in Korea. He sacrificed his friends for his dream, for his career. He left immediately in hopes that he wouldn't have to see the pain in their eyes. Just as he realized that maybe it was time to move on, a pile of letters from the past come to visit him.
When he was sure that he was along and the rest of the dorm was silently sleeping, Kris pulled out the handful of letters from his old bag. Though he wanted to forget the sadness he would feel in his former friend's letter, maybe they could amuse him. He reopened the envelope that was labled as the first and re-read the first line, already feeling less than amused.
