Chapter One
Waiting in the Snow
You were walking in the snow for a while now. It was getting dark and the wind was blowing in your face. Your hands were really cold and you feared your nose would start to freeze off soon. All of a sudden you slipped and fell. Laying on your back in the snow you let out a huff. You always fall down in the snow. You try to get up as soon as possible, because it is so freaking cold, but somehow you can’t get up. Your legs feel heavy and your head hurts. You start to call for help, but nobody answers.
You try to get up a couple times, but fail. In the meantime it started to snow again. As you lay there, waiting for someone to find you, the snow slowly covers you like a blanket. Fear grips you as you realise that you will be buried in snow soon. You curse yourself for forgetting to charge your phone last night and start to scream for help.
But nobody hears you. You start to cry and panic at the same time. It is getting really dark outside and no matter how much you try to move around, the snow is slowly covering you.
The pain in your head has gone from bad to worse and you can’t feel your legs anymore.
As the time creeps by your panicking and screaming fades to a hysterical sobbing. You have no hope left that someone might come by and find you. You call out to your parents, your friends and at last to your boyfriend whom you were supposed to go on a date with. He was late because of work and you had felt rejected and lonely. He always puts his work before you. But the thoughts of your boyfriend calm you down a bit. He must be looking for you by now. He will find you soon, you hope. You start to call his name over and over again as your world fades in front of you and you slip into unconsciousness.
