Chapter 3
A New Beginning
The wind gussing through the plain green grass. Trees swaying, and the shrieking noise that has been going for seconds. On and on, it was at that point that they knew something or someone was coming. Chanyeon, in the arms of her new colleague, trembling not for the reason that she was scared, but because she was in the arms of a boy for the first time, and the one that made her heart flutter at that. Furthermore, Chanyeol was also shaking, even though he was protecting her and also told her nice and comforting words.
"Chanyeon, it's going to be okay. Just stay calm and don't move. I'm here."
"I-I-I'm fine Chanyeol. No need to protect me."
"Are you sure? You're trembling like mad. Or are you cold?"
"No-"
"Here."
Chanyeol, taking off his sweater, swung his arms around her and wrapped it tightly, securing it that it woudn't fall. He then smiled at her and she smiled back. He put her in his arms again and there they stood, waiting for the thing to come out.
"Thank you Chanyeol."
"You're welcome Chanyeon. Now, it's time to see what or who that is. You ready?"
"Do I have a choice to be ready?"
"Good point. Okay... Hmm... What should I do?"
"I don't know, just do your best."
He sighed and thought of something that he can at least say or do to make the thing go away. Seconds had gone, he was still thinking and getting some courage from his brain and instincts. In his mind he kept saying, "You can do this. You can do this Park Chanyeol." He looked at Chanyeon for some support and all he saw was her shimering almond shaped eyes, shiny black long wavy hair and her pleasant smile. He didn't have anything to say but to smile back and take one for the team or for her actually. As he slowly took steps forward he kept yelling, "Hey you! Come out of there! I'm not afriad of you, you know! I'm seriously going to hurt you if you don't come out this instance!" All of a sudden it went silent. He froze like an ice sculpture. Then someone screamed and knelt beside of him
"Ah!!! No! Please don't hurt me!"
"Woah, where did you come from?" Chanyeol asked.
"You said you were going to hurt me, so I just surrendered."
"That's because you were scaring the crap out of the both of us."
"Oh, sorry about that, I was actually the one who was scared because I thought someone was hunting me down. Sorry about that."
"It's fine man."
"Wait..." said Chanyeon.
"What?" asked Chanyeol.
"I know that guy."
"Him? Who is he?"
"Chanyeon... Is that you?
Chanyeon and the guy were staring at each other like they have seen a ghost. Silence arised and all was heard were the wind, trees swaying, and the sound of the three of them breathing. Chanyeol, looking at them both, back and forth, couldn't handle the stares and wanted to know how and why they know each other. Until Chanyeon said, "Kwangmin... Is that you?"
