Back To School (One Shot)
Description
One day, you were walking to school with your two best friends, Jinyoung and Donghyun. The three of you were always walking to school and back home. You guys laugh every time someone makes a joke, and sometimes fought about something, but always forgave each other at the end.
While you three were walking, you guys were talking about how your holidays went.
You answered first, “My holidays? They were boring, but fun at the same time.”
The two boys said the same thing, but added, “It was busy.”
The three of you finally arrived in school. You guys went in the classroom and waited for the teacher.
While you guys were waiting, you just read a book, while the other two were talking about who their crush is. You wanted to know what they are talking about, so you pretended to be reading your book.
You listened to what they were saying.
“Jinyoung, I have something to tell you.” said Donghyun.
“What is it man?” replied Jinyoung.
“I think I’m gaining feelings for someone.” answered Donghyun.
“Really? Me too. I was gonna tell you, but not like right now. Who is it?” Jinyoung asked.
Donghyun was about to tell him, when the teacher stormed in the room, shouting, “Ok class, sit on your desk, grab a book, and study for a pop quiz!”
The class went and did so.
It was lunch time, and you guys ate together at the canteen.
You asked, “So, who is this girl you guys are keeping from me?”
The boy’s jaws dropped at the same time.
When Jinyoung finally said, “How did you know?”
You then answered, “Uhm nothing. I just overheard you guys talking about it in class.”
Donghyun reacted, “Were you eavesdropping?”
You then replied, “Maybe… So… Who is it?”
Donghyun and Jinyoung answered at the same time, “No, were not telling you.”
You then said, “Why? I’m your only girl best friend. You should tell me. Please.”
The two of them then said, “Sorry, but it’s a guy thing.”
You sighed, and just replied, “Ok fine.”
The three of you then started eating, and after went to your next class.
After school, you guys walked, with awkward silence. You knew something went wrong with the two.
So you started talking, “So… How was your day?”
Jinyoung said, “Fine.” So did Donghyun.
You then answered, “That’s good.”
You guys were still walking, when Donghyun was about to whisper something in your ear, when suddenly Jinyoung pushed Donghyun away, and shouted “Come on man! I thought we had a deal!”
You then asked, “What’s going on?”
Donghyun then replied, “We had a deal. But I just can’t deal with it, okay!”
Jinyoung then said, “Well, I love her, and you know that!”
Donghyun replied, “Yeah I know! But I love her too!”
Jinyoung answered, “Well, I would do anything for her! Unlike you, you’re a bad boy, who flirts with a lot of girls!”
Donghyun’s face went red, with anger, and then he said, “That’s it! I had enough with you. Yes, I am a bad boy, but this feeling is different from all the others! And at least I’m not a boy who likes cute things, like a girl!"
Jinyoung then punched him in the face, and said “How dare you say that! And she’s mine!”
Donghyun punched him back, and answered, “No, she’s mine!”
The both of them kept fighting, punching, and kept saying “No, she’s mine!” You tried every second to stop them, but then one of them hit you and you tripped, slamming your head on a rock. You touched your forehead, and looked at your hand. You saw blood, then you saw pitch black.
You woke up. You saw that you were lying down on your bed in your bedroom. You looked to your right and left. You saw Donghyun to your right and Jinyoung to your left, each of them holding one of your hands.
You then remembered the fight, and then the both of them asked “Are you okay?”
You replied, “Yeah… I’m fine…”
Then you remembered the fight, and asked “What were you guys fighting about?”
They went silent. The both of them said, “Sorry.”
You were confused, “Sorry for what?”
Jinyoung answered, “Sorry for letting Donghyun trip you.”
Donghyun then replied, “Me? Okay. Sorry for letting Jinyoung start the fight.”
The both of them stood up ready to fight again, but then you shouted, “Enough!”
The two of them looked at you.
You then said, “What’s wrong with you two? Are you fighting over something I should know? And tell me after you guys apologize to yourselves.”
The both of them decided to apologize, and then told you the truth.
“The both of us are having problems, and it’s because we have the same crush.”
You giggled, and said “Well, why didn’t you guys tell me? And who is it?”
The two of them sighed, and then said, “We didn’t tell you because you might freak out.”
You then promised, “I promise I won’t freak out.”
The both of them looked at each other, and then at you, “Neorago… It’s you…”
You were surprised that you wanted to faint again, but you kept going strong.
You finally said, “So, all along you guys were fighting over me?”
Both of them said, “Nae.”
You blushed and smiled, then asked them to go home, and think about what they have done. They left, and you were just lying down, thinking of the memories you three had. You felt happier than before, a feeling you never had felt before.
You then said to yourself in your head, “I should tell them too.”
