Sorry~~ I said a couple of hours and it turned into ... several hours BUT know that I am halfway through the first chapter.

So without further ado the prologue.

Prologue

“Oh man I'm so drunk!”

Jiyong giggled as he and his friend stumbled down the street. The two had gone out after their last round of finals in order to celebrate being done with school for the summer.

“Come on Ri we need to keep walking. I don't feel like waking up somewhere weird again” Jiyong padded his friend's shoulder as they slowly stumbled along the sidewalk.

Breathing in deeply Jiyong tried to sober himself up so that they could get to their shared apartment in one piece. A block from his apartment he paused seeing an old man standing in the middle of the sidewalk.

“Um...” Jiyong blinked bringing his free hand up to pinch the bridge of his nose. Maybe he was hallucinating, he thought but when he opened his eyes again the old man was standing in front of them. The filmy gray eyes seeming to be staring right through him “Seungri you see what I see?” he asked his plastered friend.

“Hmm?” Seungri barely raised his head from where he had it laid on Jiyong's shoulder.

“You are needed.”

Jiyong blinked as the words left the man's mouth “Huh?”

“You are needed. You must go and help the king.”

“King? Huh?” Jiyong sighed before he truly took in what the old man was wearing. “Hey grandpa did you come from the country side? Are you lost?” Jiyong further asked.

“It is not me who is lost. Come you must help the king.”

Jiyong groaned in frustration, he was drunk with his friend's full weight on him, he didn't have the patience to deal with a senile old man talking about saving kings.

“Hold on let me call the police. They can help you sir” Jiyong fished his phone from his pocket as he adjusted Seungri's weight against him.

“Stubborn.”

Jiyong raised his head but before he could do or say anything a piercing pain shot through him. As he felt himself losing consciousness he saw the old man holding a ball of light in his hand, his last thought being, what the hell is going on?
