Into Your World

  Beijing is warm in mid-July, and my favorite time has always been right after a thunderstorm. The winds and the rain wiped all signs of pollution from the air, and, for once, stars appeared in the night sky. Post-storm summer nights are also my favorite time because as the rest of the city stayed indoors, shying away from the damp air and slight drizzle, I could spend time with Lu Han.   Lu Han was dressed in jeans and a simple gray shirt as he lead me up to the roof of my apartment building, picnic basket in hand.
