DING DONG!

The doorbell rings and Zelo turns the doorknob. “Anyeonghasaeyo~” EXO-K bows a full 90 degrees at his doorstep. “We are EXO-K.”

Zelo chuckles. “Nah, no need for that. I’m pretty sure you’re all older than I am.”

“Oh?” D.O. raises an eyebrow at the boy who is, in fact way taller than him. “How old are you?”

“I’m fifteen. Turning sixteen soon.”

Six mouths fall open in shock. “What is this sorcery?” D.O. questions, to no one in particular.

You giggle, slinging your beach bag over your shoulders. IU does the same. You both make your way towards EXO-K.

“We’d like to say thank you for saving Yoon Mi-ah,” Suho says to Zelo, who shakes his head and points to Daehyun. “Don’t thank me. Thank him. He’s the one who pulled her out.”

“Thanks for saving noona!” Sehun chirps and Daehyun grins. “You’re welcome.”

As everyone exchanges their thanks and goodbyes, no one notices Baekhyun’s mood turning sour in the corner. He doesn’t like the way Daehyun is treating you -- all little too friendly and touching your elbow every once in awhile. He squirms a little when he realises that Daehyun had also given you CPR earlier.

He is grateful. Definitely. Because without that happening, you wouldn’t be alive. But he still can’t stop himself from feeling jealous at another man’s lips on yours. Especially one who seems to have his eye on you too.

He is too busy sulking that he tunes everyone’s thoughts out completely.
