The rest of your day at the carnival goes by in a fast blur with the EXO members dragging you and IU from one game to another; to one booth to the other.

After a few hours, the two of you plop down on a bench, exhausted.

“Noonas, I’ll go buy you some drinks,” Sehun offers, seeing your tired faces. Both of you smile at the maknae in thanks. “Gomawo!”

“Wah, the kingkas are really well-mannered~” IU says with a starstruck expression. She starts at the giant stuffed owl in her hands. D.O. had won it for her in dart game earlier.

You nod, agreeing wholeheartedly.

The boys are once again scattered all over the venue, enjoying the carnival to its fullest. You look ahead and see Baekhyun standing with a ball in his hands at the dunk tank. He aims it at the target and with a loud splash, Chanyeol is sent tumbling into the tank.

You chuckle at the sight of Chanyeol’s long limbs sticking out of the container and his body soaking wet. At the side, Baekhyun does a victory dance.

Luhan suddenly slides onto the empty space beside you. “YoonMi-ah,” he whispers and you notice he sounds a little nervous. “Would you mind coming with me for awhile? I have something to tell you...”

You look to IU and she gives you a ‘go ahead’ expression. “O-okay,” you say, then you get up from your seat and follow him.

After walking for awhile, Luhan comes to a stop. “Is it okay if we go in there?” he asks and you look up to where he is pointing. The ferris wheel looms ahead, glass capsules attached to the wheel which is rotating slowly.

“Sure.”

The both of you line up, waiting for the next round of the ride. “What do you want to talk about?” you ask Luhan, watching as he adjusts the sunglasses on his face. “Not yet,” he smiles. “Not until we’re inside.”

*Hmm...* You narrow your eyes in suspicion, but you do not ask more.

Soon, the both of you are allowed to enter. Luhan leads you into a capsule void of any other passengers  and you both take seats opposite each other.  

The ferris wheel starts to move and you look out the window in astonishment as the capsule descends. You recognise your friends immediately when you look down --
