“BYUN BAEKHYUN!!!” D.O's booming yell is loud enough to echo through the whole mansion and all the other residents can only hope and pray that it doesn't trigger an earthquake.

Baekhyun – who is lounging on the couch, listening to music with a pair of headphones on –doesn't even hear him. Bless today's amazing sound technology.

“Yah!” D.O. comes storming into the living room, due to Baekhyun's lack of response. “Yah, you!” He wags his index finger angrily at his fellow member, whose only answer is to look up at him nonchalantly. “Oh, are you talking to me?” Baekhyun asks, calmly removing those headphones.

“Well, it's either that or D.O. hyung just likes to randomly scream your name.”

“Shut up, Kai.” D.O snaps, making the second maknae smirk wolfishly.

“Anyways,” his attention is placed on Baekhyun again. “Your room looks like a hurricane singled it out from the rest of Seoul, so GO CLEAN IT!” D.O chides his dongsaeng. “And hiding your stuff under your bed doesn’t count! Arraso?!”

“But--”
“No Buts! NOW GO!”
“Yeah yeah..umma...”
“WHAT WAS THAT?!!”

Baekhyun sighs, going up to his room. Angry umma D.O. is not a D.O. to be messed with.

In the midst of all the cleaning, Baekhyun comes across a gold ring at the very back of his cupboard drawer. He pulls it out and blinks. Even after all these years, the ring still glints, unblemished between his fingertips.

Three knocks sound at his bedroom door.

“There’s only a Handsome-face in here~”

He opens the door to see you rolling your eyes at that comment. “Any idea where the other guys are? They weren’t here when I came back,” you say.

“Oh?” Baekhyun listens in for any of ’s thoughts, but receives nothing. “They must have gone out while I was cleaning.” he looks at you teasingly then, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. “That means we have the whole house to ourselves.”

“Help me, MAMA -- don’t tell me you’ve been hanging around Kai a lot.” Despite your words, you find yourself blushing at what he said. *Darn it. Of all people to be left alone with.*

You peek behind Baekhyun’s lean body to take a look at his room. You notice that it is a whole lot cleaner than the last time you saw it while walking past.

“Can’t believe the lazy of the house is doing some cleaning~” you tease, quickly running back to your room. You lock the door before he can get you back.

“Yah! Yoon Mi-ah, get back here!” Baekhyun yells from his room after your words sink in.
