The reason! Melinee is publicly dating (and soon to be publicly engaged) to Kwon Jiyoung, the GD of Big Bang. 

They are the rising king and queen of kpop and there happy, no really happy. Everyone (fans aside) are wishing them luck, all expect one man.

Melinee's ex, who is none other than TOP also from Big Bang. Their break up was anything but nice and neat neither ever officially settled their feelings.
