Narrator’s point of view:

*What the heck was that ?!  He still loves me ? BWO ?!  He already hurt me so much now , he's toying with me again !?  Never Kang Sonji ! NEVER !  I loved you but that was in the past !*you thought angrily as you made your way back to the classroom .

When you came into the classroom , you saw Siwan reading a book and Yuri still sleeping .  Siwan looked up and smiled at you.  You gave a small smile back and sat down and stared outside the window .

“Sooyoung-ah , is there something wrong ?” Siwan asked you with a worried look on his face

“Huh ?  Oh .. don’t worry , it’s nothing …” I lied to him and he shrugged and went back to reading his book .

The day went by so fast and before you knew it , school was over and you were walking home with Siwan because Yuri had to go to work .

Siwan’s point of view:

I just know something’s not right … I may have known her only for a short time , but I know that sad look in her eyes .  That was the same sad eyes I saw that night when that bastard broke up with her over the phone .

“Sooyoung-ah , I’m hungry … Let’s go have some ice cream !  I’m paying ! ^^” I said as I pointed to the ice cream shop hoping this would lighten up her mood .

“Oh , okay oppa …” she said giving me a small smile .  We walked to the ice cream shop and I told the waitress what we wanted .

“I’ll have a small bowl of chocolate ice cream and she’ll have a large bowl of cookie dough ice cream , please .” I told the waitress as she nodded and left .

“Oppa … how did you know that I was going to get a large bowl of cookie dough ice cream ?” she asked me with a surprised look on her face

“Errr … Lucky guess ?” I said with a smile hoping she’d buy it and she just laughed and looked down . *Whew !  That was close !  Aishhh … I’m kinda sad that she still doesn’t remember me …*

“Oppa … Kumawoyo …” she suddenly said .  I looked up at her and she was staring at me with a smile that made my heart melt .

“No need to thank me Sooyoung-ah … what are friends for ?” I said smiling back at her

“No , really oppa … Thank you !  I really needed this .” she said and she looked away .

“Sooyoung-ah … Tell me the truth … Did something happen ?” I asked her again

“It’s them again … They just keep ruining my days .” she said with a sigh

“What happened this time ?  Did that bastard hurt you again !?” I said now really worried but she shook her head and look me straight in the eyes with tears threatening to fall .

“He said that he wouldn’t stop until I was his again …” she said as she looked down and then started crying .  My eyes widened as she said those words , this guy was crazy !

“B-bwo ?!  He said that ?!” I asked her in disbelief and she just nodded her head .  I handed her my handkerchief so that she could dry her tears and she took it from me with a small smile .

“Thank you again oppa …” she said as she took it

“So what are you gonna do now ?” I asked her hoping she had a plan .

“I … I don’t know oppa … Ottohke ?!  Oppa , I’m so scared …” she said putting her head down .

I stood up and went over to her and just hugged her .  “Don’t worry Sooyoung-ah … I’m here , Yuri is also there for you … We won’t let anything happen to you , so don’t be scared okay ?” I assured her and she looked up at me and just smiled .

“Jongmallo kamsahamnida oppa …” she whispered as she hugged me back .  My heart raced as I realized she was hugging me back , gosh I hope she doesn’t hear it or feel it !

Sooyoung/Your point of view:

“I … I don’t know oppa … Ottohke ?!  Oppa , I’m so scared …” I said as I put my head down .

He stood up and went over to me and just suddenly hugged me .  I froze and my heart started beating like crazy again … *Why do I always feel like this whenever he’s close to me ?!*

“Don’t worry Sooyoung-ah … I’m here , Yuri is also there for you … We won’t let anything happen to you , so don’t be scared okay ?” he said and I softened … I looked up to him and smiled at him

“Jongmallo kamsahamnida oppa …” I whispered as he hugged him back

Narrator’s point of view:

The two of you finished eating your ice cream and headed home chatting happily .  As you reached your house , you hugged Siwan again and thanked him for comforting you .

“Thank you so much again , oppa ! ^^  I feel so much better now !” you said as you broke the hug and smiled at him

“Anything to keep you smiling Sooyoung-ah !” he said and smiled at you

You smiled at him and he smiled back at you , you gaze into his eyes and as he gazed into yours , you suddenly realized that your face were just a few inches away from each other .  Your eyes shifted to his lips and back to his eyes …

“Well , good night Sooyoung-ah” he said with a smirk

“Huh ? … Oh … yes , good night oppa … See you tomorrow .” you said as you blushed

You hurried inside and your heart was still beating fast .

“What was that all about ?” you whispered to yourself .  *Aniya , Sooyoung-ah … You can’t think about it that way … We’re just friends … But why is my heart always yearning to see him ?  Aisshhhhh …*

“Umma ? Appa ?  I’m home !” you called but there was no response so you called your mom to find out where they were .

“Yeoboseyo … Umma !  Where are you ?” you asked her through the phone

“Yeoboseyo ?  Sooyoung-ah !  Oh … Mianhae , we’re stuck in a traffic jam , there was an accident and a lot of people got hurt so this might take a while ..” your mom explained

“What ?!  Are you guys okay ?” you asked worriedly

“Yes dear , we’re fine … we’ll be home late so lock the doors and eat without us okay ?” your mom assured you

“Ahh umma … is it okay if I stay over at a neighbor’s house first ?  I’m lonely …” you said

“Okay … You can stay but make sure you don’t go there alone though …” she said with a tone of protectiveness in her voice

“Neh umma … I’ll call my friend and tell my friend to come for me … They live just 2 houses away from us .” you said

“Araseo … Be careful okay ?  We’ll see you later !  Saranghae , Sooyoung-ah !”

“Saranghaeyo umma , appa-do saranghaeyo !” you said loudly for your dad to hear it

“Hehehe … Saranghaeyo Sooyoung-ah !  Be good okay ?  We’ll see you later !” your dad said

“Neh appa !  Byebye !” you said as you hung up and dialed Siwan’s number and he picked up after the first ring .

“Yeoboseyo ?  Sooyoung-ah … is there something wrong ?” he asked again in a worried tone

“Oppa … my mom and dad won’t be back until later … Could I stay over at your house for a while ?” you asked him nervously

“Of course … But errr … My parents are here …” he said

“Oh … it’s okay … I guess I’ll just see you tomorrow then …” you said as a pang of pain hit you .

“No no no … You can come over , I’d love it if I could introduce you to my parents .  I’ll be there in a few minutes so just wait inside okay ?” he said and hung up

A few minutes later you heard the doorbell and you opened the door to see Siwan smiling at you .
